So I will trigger tomorrow night and go for ER on friday. This is really happening. I am scared and excited. Scared I am going to get OHSS but excited that I may get my BFP for Christmas. Anyone else have OHSS after ER? I have read some real horror stories about it. UGH!

Karen...I wish I had something profound to say to make you feel better but I dont. I am thinking of you though and hope you are ok.

Hay Ladies,

Sorry i dont have the energy for personals right now as i have a banging headache but i will be back on later tonight to catch up.

So there is good news. I have 9 follies (which for me is a miracle as i am a low responder. I'm thinking maybe the DHEA, as i havent even had any Lupron since stim day 2) They range 11-16mm and i go back on Thursday to check again. My E2 went from 39 to 1970 and lining looks good.

Alhough i took ganirelix to prevent ovulation last cycle, my RE says it is 'related' to Lupron and he doesnt want me to take it as a precaution. So after Thurs i will probably have to trigger anyway even if all the follies are not ready as they cant risk me O-ing alll my eggs away.

I also had a mini flare up of my allergy today, my lips swelled and hives appeared on my shoulders, so i threw double dosages of all my meds from the hospital down my neck and so far so good I feel like i'm on a tightrope right now. A wobbly tightrope.

[/b]Praying4BFP... Good Luck on your ER Friday. You will do good. Just plan on staying home and in bed for a couple of days, and do drink lots of water. After my ER, I felt more sore on my Left Ovary and it did turn out that it had a little more fluid... so she told me to drink alot of water. And the pain went away. Good Luck.


Jandc... I am going to hold out and wait till Friday. By tomorrow I will only have 2 days left. I have had no spottin yet and I do get cramps. I'm just so anxious. Good Luck to you on Thursday. I will pray for you.

Just a quick one for jandcc... as I know the 2ww is torturous... to answer your question... besides my spotting I did have AF like cramping... a couple days before my beta so yes that can happen... I usually cramp when I start to bleed from my period not before so it was unusual. But again it could be the progesterone although my cramping did stop about a week after the beta even though I stayed on the pio shots... So for what it's worth... Stay positive!!

Good evenings ladies. I hope that everyone is doing well. I just wanted to post a few personals and give an update on what's going on with me.

Karen I am so sorry to hear that you're feeling down. I know that you're probably think about your previous m/c but try to stay positive. I know it's probably easier said then done but everything will be ok.

kke congrats on your good betas. According to the #s you posted, your beta is on track. Sorry I can't really post anything about thyroids. Maybe it's something brought on by the pg. Nevertheless, I hope that it isn't anything that will be detrimental to you or the pg.

gina good luck on your 4th beta. I know what you mean by being nervous. I went for my 3rd one today and I was so nervous. It seemed like it took forever for my nurse to call me with the results. I can also relate about having sore breasts. At night and early in the morning, mine are so sore I have to hold them when I get up and when I walk but during the day, thankfully they aren't that painful.(Sorry TMI) I'm taking the crinone so that may be part of the reason why they hurt so bad at times.

JDC Try not to be discouraged. I'm praying and hoping that you and DH get your blessing, your BFP. Try to stay positive.

sloan I never really heard of any pesonal stories about your condition but I do think I have seen something online about it. By chance are you taking a baby aspirin daily? In addition to taking estrace and crinone (progesterone), my RE has me taking a baby aspirin to try and counteract any blood clotting issues.

tkat I am so sorry to hear about your BFN. I wish you the very best in your next cycle.

Lady_J It sure does sound like you're having a lot of the same symptoms that I am having. I'm not sure of what side effects that your meds may have because I didn't have to take either of the ones you mentioned. However, I know that part of the reason why my breast hurt or are so is due to the progesterone that I'm taking. I wishing for you to have a BFP. Hang in there!

kas I was so happy to read that you were feeling better, then I saw that you had another episode. I am so sorry you're having such a hard time. I am happy to see that you had 9 follies though. I hope that your cycle can continue. I am praying for you. You're a trooper!

jandc33 Glad to see that you're still hanging in there. I know that the 2ww is definitely traumatic but try to stay positive. When is your beta?

bell_02 Thanks for your congrats. I am so sorry to hear about your BFN. Although you sort of expected it, I know that you're still upset about it. I hope and pray that next time will be it for you and DH. Try to stay optimistic.

MuchHope Congratulations!!!! I know you must be so excited. I am so happy for you and I pray that baby C catches up. I'm sure she will though. Take extra, extra, extra care of yourself.

As for me, I had my 3rd beta today and it was 671. I was nervous because I thought it should have been higher but my nurse assured me that I'm ok. She said that my #s are right on track and are doubling as they should. I am scheduled to have my 1st u/s on 12/9. I'm just praying that everything goes well with that.

a little update- I go in this afternoon for my first u/s! I am so excited and SO nervous bc I know today I find out if its a strong baby (aka viable). This is my first pregnancy so I dont have any reason to think I would m/c but is taken so long to get here, i feel like thats the only thing i could expect to happen.

I will get back on this afternoon with the results... good luck to all you ladies with betas today and soon! We need more BFPs!

gina- my betas were low to begin with too... i only got 3 done but they were 14pd3dt- 70, 16pd3dt- 165, and 22dp3dt- 2,325.

Hello everyone. I just had my 3rd b/w & u/s this morning and finally met with my RE (havnt seen him since September). I was confused after Monday's appointment bcuz i didnt get much out of my nurse. I thought she wanted me to see the RE bcuz she wanted him to be the bearer of bad news. Everything went well with the appointment. I was REALLY scared that i might be cancelled because all my nurse said about my E2 levels on Monday was "yeah, it's up there." She didnt give me the number or anything. I didnt post my thoughts bcuz i didnt know what to expect. My numbers were/are as follows:

11/25-baseline
Lining 9.5
E2 14
RT ovary 14 LT ovary 6sm

12/1-
Lining 10
E2 1051
21 follies
RT ovary 17, 23, 14, 11, 11sm
LT ovary 6sm
Decreased Gonal-f from 300ui to 225ui


12/3-
Lining 15 (WTF?!?!?)
28 follies
RT ovary 24, 19, 14, (3)11, (2)10, 12, (2)13, 11, 6smalls

With all of those follies, they are decreasing my Gonal-f yet again! I am supposed to trigger Monday 12/8 but we are moving it up one day to this Sunday! Which would make my ER Tuesday 12/9 ET probably 12/13 or 12/14.

My RE said that he is going to ignore the 24 and 19 and let them get over mature so that the others can catch up. Thats 2 lost but its fine by me. I pray that this works the first time. In the beginning I said that I am going to go through 2 cycles no matter the outcome, but I am praying they both result in a BFP. I go for another b/w u/s on Friday, so I am sure my E2 levels have probably tripled! Im just ready to get it over and done. Anxious for the 2ww.

Glad to see we have a lot of BFP and good luck to those that are still waiting. I was not feeling very well lately so didn't post anything. I have very bad morning sickness and I have it most of the times. It seems nothing can help much. still have 10 more days to my first U/S. just want to say to you all and wish you all the best.

Hi gina, my 1st beta 71, 2nd beta 153 and 3rd beta 671. I thought and still think that my #s are a little low but I was assured I am on track and that they are doubling as they should???? I don't know. I'm just waiting to have the u/s on Tuesday and I pray that everything looks fine. I was also concerned about my progesterone level because it was at 7.2 and I was initially told that it should be at 10 or greater. I am also concerned because I'm having pressure in my vaginal area periodically. Anyone else had this problem? As of yesterday (3rd beta) I was 5wks. I questioned my nurse about the low progesterone level and she said that I'm fine and that its increasing as it should. Trying to keep up with what's normal and what isn't is really getting to me because I just want this to be and stay a viable pregnancy.

Marynaz sorry to hear that you have been having a lot of morning sickness. I hope that it gets better for you and I hope that all else is well.

JenJenn Hey I thought I had seen your name on this thread before but I wasn't sure. I replied to your post from another thread on yesterday. I'm glad to see that your follies are growing. Good luck on your ER next week and I pray that you get your BFP the first time also!



Waiting for 4 I see that in the beginning our betas were almost the same but your 3rd beta is much higher than what mine was. Good luck on your u/s today. Can't wait to hear the good news!

the numbers are in for my 4th beta 17,907 hcg & 157 progestone...doc says the numbers look great & to enjoy not being sick also it may be twins.....next wk is going to make me crazy no b/w & i have to wait for u/s on 12/12/08 anyway big hugs to u all & alot of baby dust

wishing- my 3rd beta was so high because it was a week after my 2nd one. the RE didnt want me to come back in but I had convinced myself it was a chemical pg and insisted on coming in for the 3rd.

1 hour until my u/s and i think i'm going to lose my mind! i need to stay off the forum for a bit to get my mind off of this. I'll update ya'll later!
