Hey Everyone!

I don't have much time, but I wanted to try and post quick.

Sportsmom- congrats on your ET...I am sending lots of sticky dust your way...rest up and let those little embies snuggle in!

waiting for 4- I am sorry it was a bfn. I wish I had answers for your questions, but hopefully someone here will, or definitely ask your RE, I wouldn't want to waste meds either. We will all be here to route for you for the next try.

stats- congrats on 9 fertilised, that is awesome! Sounds like you are well on your way to a 5 day transfer!

kcrave- I am so sorry those numbers are not going up the way they should, I was really hoping to hear good news from you...

AFM- My hpt marathon is well underway and has been going on for days already. The trigger is definitely gone, I got a negative yesterday and today too. I expect to continue to see negatives for a couple more days, but I do hope they turn over the weekend. I am definitely a poas addict, but I will start to get bummed the longer they stay negative close to my beta. I will keep you all updated. I have been really tired lately, so I hope that is my first pregnancy symptom.

Talk to you all soon!

morning ladies, best of luck to everyone no matter where you are in your cycle.......

I am now day 2 of my synarel nasal spray, just wondering (if anyone else has had to do this) is it normal to get a fair bit running down your throat?
im assuming yes, cos it has to go somewhere, but just wanted to ask.
thanks for your help

Hey ladies. So, we got the official news this afternoon and it's a BFN. DH is really sad. I'm not sure whether it has totally sunk in yet for me, after two months of what seems like endless drugs, scans and procedures. We have to call up next week to make a follow-up consultation to talk about where we go from here. I think we will definitely cycle again, but we need to take a few months out to re-group and come to terms with what just happened.

Hi All, Just had my first ultrasound today and it's TWINS! We only saw a heartbeat on 1 baby. The 2nd baby was a bit smaller and she said I'm only 5 weeks and 4 days. My due date is Dec. 26th, but will probably be sooner since twins.
I'm both in shock and excited. I'm working so much now so it's hard for me to post, but I'm thinking of all of you and hope everyone is doing well.

Hazel, I'm so sorry about your BFN. (((HUGS)))

Hazel- I am so sorry to hear your news...you know how badly I wanted this for you. Please take the time you need, and I will be here if you need me.

trying- wow, twins! So awesome for you...I am sure it is scary and exciting all at the same time. When is your next u/s to look for that other hb?

estrellita- any fert report yet? 15 eggs is great!

hope- I have never done that spray, but I remember reading about a lot of people taking it and they complained of the drip, maybe someone here can give you some advice about it, or start a thread about it and you will probably get some advice.

Hi everyone!
Hazel sorry about your BFN :( wish you the best on your next cycle.
Yes Michele. The nurse called yesterday and said it was 16 eggies retrieved and 14 fertilized. They will call me Sunday early to let me know if I have to go right away to the clinic to have transfer, if not transfer will be Tuesday. :) How is your hpt marathon? :D Hope you see 2 lines soon!

Hi everyone, thank you for your good wishes, it really means a lot. I think DH and I are struggling to come to terms with what happened and our BFN. We did absolutely everything we should have done diet-wise, haven't had any alcohol for months, haven't had caffeine for months, took careful (not excessive) exercise, I took the drugs on time and by the book, I looked after myself in the 2ww, and the whole stimulation, retrieval and transfer process seemed to go smoothly. It kind of feels like if it didn't happen for us, what more can we do next time?? The rational part of me knows that it's a numbers game and a BFP is not a certainty, but I'm still finding it hard to accept. AF has arrived this afternoon and is being a monster this time (something my clinic didn't think to warn me about), so I'm sure that's not helping how I feel. Anyway, enough about me...

estrellita - congratulations on 14 fertilised eggs, that's amazing! Good luck for transfer either tomorrow or Tuesday.

Michele - how you doing with those HPT's? Have they started behaving and showing you two lines yet?

Trying - wow, another set of twins on this thread. Amazing!

hope - I was on Synarel for about 4 weeks prior to starting stims. One of the ladies at the very start of this thread warned me to keep a hot cup of tea at the ready after sniffing, as the taste is vile when it goes down the back of your throat, and it was great advice. To that I added boiled sweets - I used to start sucking on a sweet straight after sniffing and it helped a lot. I also found that it varies from day to day how yucky it is, so don't worry if you're finding that too. Side effects wise, everyone is different, but I felt OK for the first week and then started getting hot flushes, night sweats and some headaches. Nothing that wasn't manageable though! Hope you fare better. Let me know how you get on.

waiting for 4 - I'm so sorry for your BFN, I really know how you must feel. Re your upcoming cycle, my own view would be that you don't need to do the BD every day (and in fact from the point of view of keeping DH's sperm at their optimum, it may be best not to anyway, and sperm are thought to be able to survive inside you for anywhere between 2 and 5 days from what I've heard) so I would think that if you would be able to BD on the Friday morning and Sunday evening it should be fine. What has your RE advised? Of course if you end up ovulating on either Friday or Sunday then it wouldn't be an issue anyway.

amfmbaby - good luck for Monday, will be thinking of you.

sportsmom - how is the 2ww going? I'm sure being sick didn't hurt your embies - think of sbr's story from her very first round of IVF and her horrible OHSS time in hospital being very sick and ill and she still got (and stayed) pregnant.

Hey guys,

I wish I had better news about the poas marathon, but I don't, all negative so far. It is starting to get depressing, and my pma is shrinking a bit. I still have hope of course, since last time I did not see a faint line until what would be noontime tomorrow, so all of my hope is for tomorrow. I might try again tonight. I have 3 tests left. I have gone through all of my supposed high sensitivity tests (which my husband thinks are garbage) and I have first response left, which is what worked for us last time.

I must say, I did not think it would bother me as much this time, but it still does. All I can wonder about now is how in the heck will we afford an FET since insurance runs out this time? We took out a $4000 healthcare loan just to pay for fees this time not covered and I just don;t see how we will swing another $5000 for an immediate FET. It is so unfair that money will be the deciding factor in whether or not we even get to try to expand our family.

Look at me being the negative nellie! I am such a planner and worrying though, so it is natural for me to think this way already. I know....there is definitely still hope, and I will keep you all updated.

Hi all! I had my ET this morning - we transfered one beautiful Grade A that was already hatching and another really good looking Grade B that had started hatching in between the time they took the picture this morning and when they went to put it in. DH got to look at them in under the microscope and told me #2 looked almost as hatched as #1 at transfer time. So it's 2ww time for me...eeeek!

I'm on bed rest for the next couple days, so I'm sure I'll be around here. My beta is scheduled for May 13 - the day after the big 3-0 for me, so I'm really hoping for good news.
