Natalie and Sonya, How are you ladies doing? Are you keeping your sanity during the two week wait? I think it will be easier once I am off bed rest.

Smattison, Hey sweetie, how frusterated you must feel. I know my embies don't seem to advance to where we want them. I know how hard it is but just remember they say that often the embies do better back home with mommy where they belong than in a lab somewhere. You are in my thoughts and prayers!!

Melly and Nic, WOW 17 eggs is a great number!! Good luck with your trigger shot and your ER's!!!

Mrs. B, Oh what a scary experience! I am so glad to hear that everything is looking good still. I will pray for your little one to grow, grow, grow!!

Marcia, WOW yoy egg making machine!! Way to go girl. Good luck on friday with your ER!

As for me, today is my last day of bedrest woooo hoooo. I am extremely bored! Looking forward to getting back to work to help distract myself! Still feeling some twinges and cramps today so hopefully those embabies are snuggling in deep!!
Jill

Mrs B - so sorry to hear about your scare and the 10th probably can't come soon enough for you. I hope yr resting and taking good care.

Sha - I have to admit, its nice to be back at work - it does give me something else to think about and because I'm so busy I forget about poor pinky & perky!! i'm feeling exactly the same as you, not a sign, the cramping has gone, the boobs not sore and the damn thing is, I can't remember if this is the same as before - I'm sure last time I had nothing much either. But know what you mean - give me a sign please this waiting is doing me in

Nicky - those numbers are fabulous - you'll have many to donate and many to keep ! Just keep drinking the water seriously - as for the bloating well are you not surprised with that many??!!

Holly - how are you ? We are nearly there - not long for us both!

Melly - another follie grower - you girls been putting yr feet in fertilizer!

Marcia - hey good luck with the trigger tonight - roll on Fri to get those eggies out for easter!!

Stephanie - its good that they arent taking any chances with your lil ones and that are coming home early - just for info - my last one I was a 3dt and it was a +ve. Thinking of you tomorrow.

Nerms - hey you, nice to see you - how are you - haven't forgotten you and fingers and toes are all crossed in preparation for you.

Sonya / Jill- hows it feeling to have them home.

I don't think I could face HPT - I said to DH what about if we don't do one and just see if I get fatter - I just don't want to see the blank window on the pee stick - however thats not going to happen as I'm keeping positive - PMA PMA PMA

Hi everyone!

We're back from Nevada/Arizona and quite an eventful trip it was.... The Grand Canyon part was a real fiasco - they had conveniently neglected to mention that the last 15 miles to the West GC are unpaved and VERY ROUGH. About five miles in I realized it's not getting better but worse and my lower abdomen was cramping... and I was so scared for the baby, it felt like the drive would jiggle the little one right out of me. I know babies are pretty resilient and expert at hanging in there, but they do tell you to avoid long car trips and especially anything bumpy. Well, this was a disaster - everyone else was extremely uncomfortable but I was in real pain and so afraid, crying for the last miles. Once we were up there it wasn't much better - the whole place is a real Mickey Mouse operation and since you cannot drive yourself to the actual viewing spot, people were left standing in the 90 degree (33 Celsius) heat as the buses were very late and it was just all so horrible. No shade, no restrooms.... Anyhow, told DH that there's no way in h%*# I would stand the drive back down - that I would rather walk for hours than subject my baby to that again. So DH and MIL drove back and DH bought me a helicopter ride 8) Which was fab of course - the sun was shining, the canyon looked magnificent from up in the air and it took me only 45 minutes to get to Vegas. If I hadn't been feeling so uncomfortable and nervous about the little one I would have enjoyed the ride even more - I had a private flight so it was very spacious and the pilot was a fun guy.

Luckily Vegas and the luxurious Bellagio were fab as always - we lounged by the pool, ate at wonderful gourmet restaurants, gambled moderately and shopped a little. My cramps went away after a good rest, so I really enjoyed the rest of the trip and so did DH and MIL. Today we got to see our little one at a specialist's office when we had the blood screen and the sensitive u/s for nuchal scan. A lot of kicking and swinging of arms :D All looked good in the sono and we'll get the bw back in about a week. Right now, for he first time, I have a really positive outlook on the pregnancy, as it's progressed so well. Hopefully this will continue for another27 weeks

Ooops, a lengthy message....Sorry....

Amanda, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! That is so wonderful, I'm so happy for you! Good luck with your second beta but the numbers seem good - it's not about the first number but the tendency.

Nicky, great job with those follies!!! Definitely seems you'll have plenty to share. I think it's wonderful that you're doing that.

Marcia, your follie news couldn't be better either - how great is that! It's especially good to hear that your right side has woken up too - I think that is a really promising. Good luck with your ER on Fri!

Stephanie, I'm sorry you weren't able to go all the way and wait for a blastocyst transfer but nothing is lost yet. I'm wishing you the best of luck for your transfer ad sending you lots of PMA!

Sonya, PUPO - you make me laugh  I think that's the way to go - with attitude like that you'll get through with flying colours!!!Congrats and good luck for you and your little ones!

Melly, that sounds like a great start. How do you feel?

Mrs B, so sorry to hear about your scary experience :( That's really tough, been there... It helps though, doesn't it, when you see that the little one is still hanging in there and is doing well with a HB and all. Hopefully this will remain your only big scare and things will calm down for the rest of your pregnancy. And who knows, maybe the other little one will catch up too - with twins it's sometimes hard to tell so early. So good luck sweetie!

Karma, I'm so sorry  My thoughts are with you...

And all you 2ww'ers - you're on my mind and I'm rooting for you like crazy!!!! Not so long to go..... Eagerly waiting for your news!

Hi Ladies,

I hope everyone is doing well, as for me I'm pretty much back to 100% normal today after yesterday's EC, I went back to work today so far so good. I just got a call from my RE this morning he told me that out of 14 eggs collected yesterday 10 of them fertilized. We are so happy with the result, and keep praying that our 10 embies keep growing and their quality are good. My transfer scheduled this Friday (3 days) but if most of our embies survive till day 3 and the quality is also good we're doing 5 day transfer so that would be this Sunday, we keep praying, keep our fingers crossed and hoping for the best.

Sorry this is all for me right now, it's time to go back to work..I'll catch up to everyone when I get home tonight.

Take care everyone...

Thanks everyone for the reassurance of my numbers. I will post tomorrow as soon as they call. [ hopefully they won't wait till 5 again!!!]

Marcia---Thanks for the chart :D

Stephanie---I was a 3 day transfer with my first IVF, and this go round.

Sonya---my doc is strict too about the freezing---none of mine made it last time either!

jstrandlund----last time I had two---grade 1 embies with 8 cells at transfer and none worked. This time I had two with only 4 cells and one with only 2 cells----and I got my BFP this time! So just because everything is perfect---doesn't make it work---and just becasue something is NOT perfect---doesn't mean it WON'T!!! Hang it there!!

NIMBLE---Those HPT's are evil. My test day was Tuesday----Sat I got a negative, SUN I got a negative, and finally MON it said positive, but I know some stories where it is still negative the day before and they get a BFP!!

Have a great evening!!

Sonya, Hey sweetie, my clinic also called and none of my embies made it to freezing either. It is very frusterating but just try to focus on the fact the they transfered the best ones back to you. I am always amazed at women who are able to freeze embies since two rounds of IVF for me and none frozen. But hey we are not going to need them anyway, RIGHT.
I plan to go back to work tomorrow and I am looking forward to getting off of this couch.
I don't know if I will do any HTP's. I didn't last time since I was afraid to get incorrect info. Actually last time I was scared and didn't even want to do my bw pg test. I was sooo afraid of a negative answer. So I probably won't but who knows sometimes the curiosity is too hard. Good luck sweetie!
Jill

Congratulations Amanda! :D Awesome news.

Had a blood test yesterday to see if I could star the Estradiol valerate tablets. All went well with both myself and donor so I have started those little pills this morning. A bit worried that I might turn into some mad cow - think hubby is too! He had better watch out
Might be a good time to get him to cook, clean, do the washing. He he!
Question for all you girls out there - how did the Estradiol valerate tablets affect you - and what about those delightful pessaries which I need to start the week of 16 April which is OPU!

Hope all is going well for those of you on ttw! Not long for us now either. I will deep you posted.

All the best

Hi girls

Been up since Trigger shot so I thought I'd see what's happening.

Sonya and Jill - I'm sorry you didn't have good news today, but don't let your spirits get down. Like Jill said Sonya you won't need them anyway, and certainly not if you have twins.

I'm crossing everything for you guys, now remember to take it easy at work, and keep your chin up Sonn.

Nerms- I feel ya on this 2ww I never thought it would be so hard I felt like this IVF was consuming my life everyday and now it’s just over and nothing I don’t know if Im pregnant I don’t know that Im not it just sucks and I cant help but to think about it every moment!! Test day feels so far!!!

Quita- Thank you so much for your advice I’ve been stressed about this cramping I thought maybe I was going to start AF I don’t even know what to think, I thought for sure no way cramping could be a good thing!! Thanks

KIA- Don’t worry about NOT cramping, it doesn’t mean anything Im sure, Did your clinic recommend you completely stay off your feet or are you just being extra cautious? Mine put me off this whole week but told me just to take it easy? For the most part I have been sleeping but I do get up and shower and cook and do little things but everytime I do I wonder if I hurt anything or did something wrong, but I saw some people go right back to work so I don’t want to be lazy either?

Nicolamark- Don’t stress about the OHSS I did as soon as I read about it and they took 34 eggs from me so they said I was really high risk, but I rested a lot drank tons of water and Gatorade and I was fine, I was really bloated and it got even worse after the eggs came out so BE READY!!! LOL but it all went down this week and it went down pretty fast, last week I thought it wouldn’t go down and I would go into my preg already huge but don’t worry it’s just swelling and it will go away! IF you are at risk they will monitor you and take good care of you!

Mrs B so sorry for you that must have been so scary the thought of seeing blood at this point is heartbreaking! Glad to hear everything is ok get some rest!

Smattison – good luck with your transfer I feel like I’ve followed you through this whole thing and you will definitely be on my mind tomorrow and I will keep everything crossed for you and your embies!!! Your right babies coming home you have to keep a PMA for them!!

Jstrandlund- your still on bed rest too? Wow I hope Im not doing too much I havnt been really active but I havnt been completely in bed either, did you clinic make you or was that your choice?

Sokru- for the list my testing is april 13th but im going to ask about changing it to the 12th he he!!

Mama-Thank you so much for the kind words. It is so nice having people to talk to and having people that care about you and what happens. I have been so down since the transfer. I guess my mind is getting the best of me. My inlaws are coming next Friday and that means that I have to send the evening with 2 sis-in-laws and they are both pregnant. I don't know what I am going to do. Do you think I should ask my doc to test me 2 days early so I will know while they are here??? Do you think that is too early??? That will be day 12 and I am scheduled to test in day 14. I don't know how I will deal with seeing them and talking about their pregnancies. I need to get rid of all the thoughts before tomorrow and my babies come home. Wow thanks for letting me vent!!! You girls mean the world to me and I don't know how I made it through this last time alone.

I will let you girls know how I do tomorrow.
