Hi everyone,

Sorry I've been a bit MIA after my BFN on the 16th. It's been a tough go this past 10 days. I had a f/u with RE on Friday. Basically, he said a couple of things which seemed contradictory. He showed me a graph showing how many blastocysts women normally end up being able to freeze at the end of the cycle by age. I had 10 eggs and 4 great blasts last cycle. That put me statistically in the group of "under 35" which had the best success rates. He then said that "if I were going to get pregnant, then it should've been that cycle". It seemed he was doubting my chances of a repeat performance. He said that my overall success after these failures is about 20% now. I said... "wow, really? Even if I get 4 blasts again?" Then he said "no, then it would be considerably higher." My FSH is around 8 and my AFC has always been over 15, and it was even 22 this last time. But according to him I do have decreased ovarian reserve because it took a lot of Follistim for me to get a response. Time is running out. What I don't know is if my blasts didn't implant because I had some bad luck or because they were genetically abnormal. He strongly discouraged PGD for me unless I needed to test for a specific genetic disorder. Question for those of you who cycled after a miscarriage where you saw a heartbeat. Did you have more eggs on your cycle after miscarriage? I'm wondering if that has anything to do with my increased response this last time. I'm so hoping I can repeat that response.

Long story short.... we are going to try once more in late Dec/January. This just has to be it. Financially, we cannot go on after that unless we borrow heavily. I'm trying to be positive and not think that way. If any of you ladies who have a BFP or who get one soon have any left over Follistim and are willing to donate it to me, I would be forever grateful. I would send a shipping cooler with pre-paid return shipping to you. We're now heading into our fourth fresh cycle. My dose of Follistim is 450 units, which is pretty expensive when you're 100% out of pocket. And I normally stim for 8-9 days, so I need around 4000 units for the cycle. Please PM me if you can help. Thank you.

To make matters worse, my due date on my pregnancy that ended in miscarriage is coming up on November 17th. I really believed I could've been pregnant by that date and it would be easier. Now I know that isn't possible, but I'm doing my best to get back up and believe that this can work for me. I got pregnant on my 2nd IVF cycle, so I know it's possible.

Congratulations to the recent BFP's, Sonya, Kaylie, babyblu. I'm sincerely happy for you and wish you the very best going forward in your pregnancy. Thanks for giving the rest of us hope. :)

Sonya...Woohoo!!! Awesome news! Congrats again!!!

Bakersbaby...hoping for AF to arrive soon for you.

Ester...Hi! What is new on the IVF front? Did you see our halloween costumes on FB? lol Silly stuff.

Lou...So good to hear from you and to know that you will be back trying again soon. I am sooo very sorry about everything. I know just how you feel...I want to be pregnant by Thanksgiving for the same reasons...I was due to deliver that week. Somehow, it will all work out for you, I have alot of faith that it will. Sonya - WOO FRIGGIN HOO FOR YOU!!! Congratulations! I'm soooooooo excited for you! What a blessing today is...

Nancy - YAY for being PUPO!!! Rest up and you'll be getting your BFP before you know it! :D

Lou - thanks for the update. You have been in my thoughts. I'm glad to hear you at least have some sort of answers (though slightly confusing :?) and the motivation to give it another go. I can't image how difficult the entire process has been for you, it really just breaks my heart. I wish the best for you on your continued journey. You will be kept in my prayers and thoughts.

Tess - Wow! That must've been so amazing to finally get to see your li'l fella or gal

meinemo - You're almost there!!! Have you POAS yet?? Or, are you gonna tough it out?? I can't wait to hear your numbers. :D

Michelle - Welcome, welcome!!! I know the ladies on this board will help keep you informed, help you stay positive, and, most of all, be the best support system.

Tammy - Ma'am, yes Ma'am!!! You'll be happy to know I am not moving from my laying down position. I'm sure your follies are gonna do great! My left ovary didn't do squat either, but I had pinching in the left side. I thought it felt like it was trying it's darnedest, but just couldn't quite make it happen. I believe that storm you had your way swept through my neck of the woods late, late last night and early this morning. Intense here, how'd it go your way?

Riogirl - Prayers and super positive thoughts coming your way from me! Is there a such a thing as an anti-cyst dance... that can be done from the couch??? Cause I'm doing one for you! :D

Amanda - I had 2 transferred and my next beta will be first thing Thursday morning. How's you're 2ww going so far? Hope it's super comfy and full of positivity! :D

moorebaby and Bakersbaby - Thank you so much for your well wishes!

I have to say, everyone on here is absolutely amazing! I couldn't have stayed sane without you ladies, thank you all soooooo much for being here and being so great! I know there are so many more positive results to come!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

I am crazy busy at work so haven't had time to do any personals.... I will tonight, promise. I am in total shock that we had such a great beta. The last two times were '62' and then '85' so they were okay but not great at all. My clinic wants to see 100 as a healthy start. To get 137.8 was just a freaky wonderful moment.

I know this is a numbers game. I know that we won't all make it to pregnancy and those that do won't all make it to term. It's sad and horrible but it's true.  I'm very very used to being in one of those categories, and when the other two ladies posted such great numbers, I was expecting to be the one who dropped off the chart.

I remember reading about women who had been ttc for over 12 months and I couldn't believe they hadn't gotten pregnant. Here I am, three years later. I think that having two boys with no problems makes this more difficult for me to understand and accept.

I have missed so much stuff!!! Congrats to all the BFPs!

My D&C is finally here this Thursday. I have had a sore throat since yesterday, so I pray they don't cancel me. I waited so long for this appointment! I think I start stims 2 weeks after, so I am back in the game. I also get my new puppy this weekend, and I can't wait!!!

Crystal...call your after hours doc. I never do meds the night of trigger, but every doc is different. Good Luck with everything.

Jennieswa...They go on your "lower" belly. =)

Sonya...I understand exactly how you feel...I've been in too many categories myself. You're off to a great start and really why worry about anything you cant control anyhow...so enjoy your pregnancy and relax now...cause all is well!

Rio...What did your E2 level come back as today?

Meinemo...I was wondering that too...plan to poas?

Baby_blu...Thanks for the reassurance. Yep same storm. It kinda piddled out by the time it got here, thank goodness. I hear you all got it alot worse than us.

Lauren1171...Woohooo!!! Soo exciting to hear that you will be stimming sooo soon after your D&C. Good Luck Thursday! I hope you are feeling better really soon and they dont cancel you! Sending prayers!
