Good morning Ladies:

Thanks for all of your compliments on my little guy and my doggie babies.

Jo: I'm so sorry to hear about your ordeal with Jodie. I hope everything turns out ok. You poor thing. I haven't started my Christmas shopping either!

Justine: I hope you are feeling better today.

Vita: Congrats on your little girl! I thought that she must be a girl, since she was so shy. I'm sure that you saw Andrew............he is not shy and had no problem showing his family jewels.

Kareen: I hear you about the gym membership. I need to work out too. I have been attending a spinning class at the YMCA, but I need more than that.

Hello to Hayley, Heather, Zoe, Aunty (debz) and anyone that I have missed.

We had quite the ordeal with our chocolate lab, Max, last night. I was baking chocolate cookies with chocolate chunks when my sister rang the doorbell. I left one tray of cookie dough out on the kitchen countertop while I when to let my sister in. When I came back, Max had eaten 9 of the chocolate dough balls!!!!!! I was so upset, since chocolate is poisonous to dogs. I rang my vet and she thought that he did not have enough to hurt him, but just in case thought that I should make him vomit. We have to give Max 1 T of hydrogen peroxide. It was difficult to get him to swallow it and it took 2 times to get the required results. Finally the big boy threw up for us and I sighed a sigh of relief. He is my baby and I would just die if anything happened to him. I guess I forgot to tell him that chocolate labs cannot have CHOCOLATE!

Have a wonderful day,
Tammy

Hello Lovely Mommies

Justine you really are having a time of it this last week. I hope it calms down a bit soon. I know we all leak lots of bodily fluids when pregnant, it's hard to tell when we should worry or not.

We went to a firework display last night at the school but Emma didn't like it so we came home, only a 50 yard walk so that was ok. We watched from the front room in the end! Hope the wedding is nice. The sun is shinning.

Tammy what a worry with Max. Leo always wants the girls chocolate and it's so hard for them to understand that he's not allowed it. Least he was sick so hopefully is ok. Have you felt any movements yet?

Hi Hayley, glad everything ok with you and your two little girls.

Hello Kareen, how's you? My appendix scar as just blended into the rest of the stretch marks but to be honest I haven't had any more since I had Hannah nearly 16 years ago. You don't really notice them now.

I don't think we are going to the cinema. I think I will look pretty silly taking my duvet to hide under and some pillows for my back and a stool for my legs!

Vita how did the appointment go yesterday? I am so happy for you to have a little girl as well as your boys. I bet DH is made up. Do you have any names for any of them yet?

The pictures that have been posted recently are great. The scans are so clear and Kareen you look wonderful!

Zoe not long now till you are a lady of leisure - yeah leisure! lol ok not long till your maternity leave. How's the SPD?

Hi Heather, I too have started to get carpal tunnel during the night. It's horrible but it will soon go - hopefully.

I've had a few really miserable days. I feel so ugly with this round face. The huge tummy doesn't bother me because it's doing a good job incubating the little one but the face is awful! I have done lots of crying but feel better today.

We are still awaiting Jodie's results.

I had my scan today. Everything looks really well. We didn't get any measurements other than the foot is 4.5 cm! Oh and we are expecting a little Ellie! I'm so happy. I had tears in my eyes, it was so clear definately a girl. Emma and Jodie are so happy, they came with us and thought it was great to see her on the telly!

I'm off to chill for a little bit.

Speak to you soon

Jo

Hello Ladies:

Jo: Congrats on your little girl!!!!!! I'm sure that Jodie and Emma are thrilled! Ellie is a wonderful name. We are going to name our adopted daughter from China, Elena and call her Ellie.

Max is doing great! Silly boy was fine after he vomited.

I'm sorry that you are feeling a little down about your appearance. I hear you!!! I have gained some weight in my face also and keep telling myself that it will eventually go away once Andrew is born.

I think that I felt movement last night while watching TV with DH. I will try to focus on the movement tonight to see if I experience the same feelings.

Justine: Have a nice time at the wedding.

Hello to Kareen, Zoe, Hayley, Heather and Vita.

Take care all,
Tammy

Justine: Thanks for concern about my dog, Max. He is my boy. I felt a little movement yesterday, while DH and I were having lunch. I'm so sorry that you spent yesterday in the hospital. Take it easy today.
Your Sophie is a real doll! The pictures that you posted on photobucket are precious.

Kareen: I'm sure that Darren learned his lesson from his "whale comment". If my DH called me a whale, he would regret it later, as I have my ways of getting back at him  I have not even started my Christmas shopping.

Hello to everyone else.

Take care,
Tammy

hi girls......

justine i hope you are feeling better... mabye you should take early maternity leave....finish work now because your health and that of your son comes first...... i hope your appetite improves.... get plenty of rest...

tammy, hope you are well... your movements will soon get stronger... to the point where you will shout 'ouch'... lol... i was resting last night on the sofa as my feet and ankles are a bit swollen the next thing i knew was huge swelling appearing on the top of my belly, it felt more like a bottom than a head...i patted it and got one almighty kick, though sore, it was worth it..... twin 1 on the left(casue he/she nearer the exit) bossy is more active than twin 2.... though i think twin 2 occasionally tugs the umbilical cord.....

as for darren, his whale comment is nothing... i laugh at everything he says or calls me.... he is sweet really... and i know he cares..... anyway its not as if i will be this size forever..... and i have a good memory so all the name calling will be stored for further notice.....ie. labor...it be more than name calling he will get then  .....

i have ordered a few things online for christmas..... and even though i like a look in the shops for wee bits and pieces i think i will give that a miss or go late night shopping when hopefully its not as busy...we will see!!!

hope the rest of you girls are ok....

love kareenxxx

Afternoon All

Hope you are all doing great.

Tammy any more feelings? Ellie usually gets very excited when I eat - or maybe that's me! She also wakes up as I'm resting. They say (whoever "they" are), that when we're moving about this rocks them to sleep so they are more active when we're resting.

How did DH get on with Andrew's closet?

Abbie congratulations on your little girl. I was sad to read about Mitch boy but your dream was lovely. Brought tears to my eyes. It's wonderful that Hannah has her big brother watching out for her. My eldest is called Hannah, and my nan and her mum and her mum - do you see the pattern?! lol

Kareen Darren sounds just like Paul, although he calls me a walrus and asks regularly if I need to be hosed down! But I know he loves me! ha ha, I've just reversed it now and started calling him tubs! The other week he made some sort of comment so I measured his stomach, we were measuring the same so now he can't comment! I even offered to take him to Mothercare to get some clothes - although I have now really overtaken him!

Everytime I see my consultant he does a little scan, I don't think he's been showed how to use the doppler machine - so you never know, he may tell you their sex. You are bound to have lots of scans from 28 weeks and there's definately going to be a time when you have one and Darren's not with you so you never know. But, would you be able to keep it a secret if you do find out?

Justine you poor thing. How many weeks are you now? I think it's your body telling you to slow down. I'm with Kareen, maybe you should re-think your leaving date at work. Would it cause problems if you left earlier?

I've managed to do all my christmas shopping for Emma and Jodie, in fact they are still in the bags by the front door and they've not once asked what's in there! Argos and Woolworths are great. They only charge the one delivery fee even if the stuff is delivered on separate days. The wrapping paper arrived yesterday so I will wrap them Thursday morning then put them up in the loft. Boy do I feel organised. I haven't a clue on what to get Hannah or Alice. Any ideas on teenagers who only really want fags? lol

I ordered quite a bit of stuff through the schools christmas catalogues, they have some nice usual things but that doesn't really help you does it?! lol

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed these past few days. I have to keep pinching myself that it is all real. I can't believe we are having another daughter, that the IVF worked I just feel so very very lucky. The girls are talking about Ellie as if she is already here, they have been sorting out their toys and saying what ones she can borrow.

I'm struggling with the sugars still, I'm now taking 353 units of insulin, the hospital's record is 400 so I will be there in a couple of weeks! Still feel quite low with regard to my size. I know I can get rid of it but it's more the shape of my face which is upsetting me. I feel like a freak! I need a badge saying I'm not steriods so people know I'm not just a fat pig!

Pregnancy brain is really settling in. I picked up all the dirty washing the other day and put it straight out into the recycling wheelie bin - doh!

The girls new bright pink bedroom carpet arrived yesterday, it looks lovely.

Best go as my back is awful today!

Hope everyone is ok - love to you all

Jo

Hello Ladies,

how are all of you feeling?? Getting big are we?

Justine, I hope you feel better soon, maybe just maybe its time to give up work and be a lazy bum like me???? I hope the yucky feeling will go away and regain your appetite.. especially for chinese

Kareen, how are you my sweets.... i really miss chit chatting with you... How are your little kiddos doing? Does one move alot more then the others? I have noticed that two out of three move alot more, i think our little girl is a sleepy head, she hardly moves all day long, just a tug here and there.
I cant wait till you find out the sex of your lovelies. Any fun cravings???
Have you stoped working yet? i have a very bad memory all of a sudden, so excuse me if i have asked you before or dont remember reading it already.

Tammy, isnt it the best feeling in the world when your baby moves? I devour the moment and then wonder hmmm i wonder which one it was...haha our girl is on the left side and the two boys are on top of each other on the right side, most of the movement comes from the right and confuses me all the time.

Jo, how are you darling.... hope you have started to feel better. CONGRATULATIONS ON your GIRL...Ellie is just a lovely name. I thought of a few names, like Sophia, Nicola, Leila... but which i will choose for my girl im not sure. As for the boys, we have thought of Johnathon and Nicholos. Nothing is for sure i think until i get to see them and hold them.
Any news on Jodies results?? Hope all is well.

Abbie, congratulations on your little GIRL!!!

I have my glucose test this week and dont look forward to it as it takes them 5-8 pokes to draw a single ounce of blood out of me. i have very faint and thin veins so im definitly not looking forward to it.
I have another level II ultrasound on monday to make sure the growth of the babies are progressing... my peri measured my belly last thursday and it was at 41cm!!!!!!!!! Holy COW! thats full term plus one week. It surely explains the reasons i feel so awful all the time, sleep has been a thing from the past and oh did i mention hemorhoids (tmi) im sorry but wow is it painful. Ok ladies, i have been having alot of tightening and see elevations on certain parts of my belly when this happens, my heart beats extremely fast and im left out of breath... is this common, and is this what the Braxton Hicks contractions are or should i be worried and bring it to the perinatologists attention. So many things to be worried about. But i wouldnt trade it for the world. :D

Talk to you all soon... xoxo

Vita

Hi girls,

I'm just touching base - it's been so long since I've been on and feel a bit out of the loop :(

Things are busy, busy, busy and I think just after Friday I'll collapse... never mind - the countdown is on and 3 days to go until I finish... Can't wait to spend some time just chilling and pottering!

Hope everyone is well. Sorry for no personals - have just nipped on to see how you all are - I'll have to catch up properly when I've got more time.

Hope all those bumps are expanding big time!

Zoe x

P.S I'm definately head down and 3/5 engaged - have been for a while... when Sunday comes I'll be 33 + 4 so that'll be new territory. Am now convinced I'll be late!! Anyone else like this?
