Lucy sorry it was a bit tough at the birthday party, I bet your niece was so pleased that you went. Only 4 weeks to go until you start your stims. This will be the one, you will get that BFP that you deserve so much.

Julie you must have started your down reg today for your FET, hope its going ok and the hormones stay nicely controlled! Good luck with the clinic appointment today.

Mrs Barber glad to see you back. Sorry you didn’t feel great but so glad that didn’t stop you having a fantastic time. Are you going to post some photos on photo bucket? I would love to see some of them. Make the most of your Mum and Dad’s visit and have a rest and put your feet up.

Lisa good luck with your scan on Tuesday, you won’t believe the difference in the size and it really starts to look like a baby rather than a baked bean! I got measured for my nursing bra a few weeks ago and at the start of the pregnancy I was an A cup, I have gradually increased and now have bras all different sizes the nursing bras are DD, which is massive for me!!!!! I am so sorry about your insensitive friends, who needs enemies when you have friends like that! Your DH will be the father, he has been there from conception. Arrrrrrrr some people really annoy me.

Nicki not long until your injections now, which means another step further to your BFP. How are you feeling in yourself now?

Kate hope everything is ok with you.

As you can see I am still here. I was meant to have my stretch and sweep on Friday but midwife decided against it, I think she was to busy. I am now booked to have it done tomorrow unless something happens in the meantime. I just don’t think this baby wants to come out at the moment though! My bump is so huge that I struggle to bend down now, I wouldn’t change it for the world though. I know I am very very lucky.

JEN - WELCOME BACK MRS BARBER!!!!!!! Sorry to hear you were/are unwell but it sounds like you had a fantastic time! So glad for you. I back Nikki....11 years now for us and I love it! Hope the party goes FAB. Would be nice to see some piccies if you can.

LUCY - Congrats re AF and April cycle - You, me and Nikki will all have BFPs come May time!!! Parties can be rubbish can't they and the usual statement is that people just don't understand. Ok majority of time but some times it just gets you doesn't it? x Hope work is ok for ya. Look forward to the 4 day week next week and week after kid.

LIS - How are you? Sorry your friends are being insensitive. The IVF route really does test friendships and show peoples true colours and sadly I think a lot fail. I have decided to keep this cycle underwraps from people as was disappointed when last cycle was cancelled and people can really pee me off sometimes. Would rather they said nothing. Hope DH is ok today x Best of luck with your scan tomorrow. Bet you both can't wait!! Let us know how it goes.

NIKKI - Hows u? What stimms are you having? I was on Puregon. Hope you are feeling ok. I am in the dark AGAIN!!! I have to inject 0.5 buserlin from now til AF (which is hopefully end of this week) and then I go on tablets (swore she said HRT!!) to thicken lining and have scan on day 15. No idea if day 15 of injections, day 15 of cycle or day 15 of tablets! Estimate ET will be 4 weeks max. That way I am not disappointed! Means we can go away at Easter for the week so looking forward to the break now. Good luck with the injections x

Hey Girlies!!

Sorry I've been naff at posting AGAIn but work is manic, the kids seem to have lost the plot and are acting like little monkey's (and that is putting it politely!!!)

Jen congrats to you and DH! It sounded lovely with the snow falling and you guys skiing! I'm a newbie to married life, two years in the summer, however I have loved every minute of it, so here's to you and DH enjoying many years together!

Gail...how's the mother to be? Any signs yet? If I was her I'd probably want to stay nice and cosy inside mum's tum!! I can imagine its getting rather uncomfortable at the moment tho?

Lucy...excellent news on starting in April - bring on that BFP! How's work, got any better? At least you won't have to endure it for much longer when you get the BFP!!

Lis..you ok? I agree with Julie about friendships being tested. Some people are so insensitive and just don't understand it. I've only told a few really close friends, don't think I could deal with deliberatly insensitive remarks. Keep positive tho, they obviously aren't worth your friendship. Good luck with the scan on Tuesday

Nickie my dear how are you? How are the injections going? After the first one it does get easier...honest!! Keep me posted about how it goes, I'm sure you will produce loads of lovely eggs and then get that BFP!

Julie..good luck with the FET. Hope it all goes well

As for me, definitely going to wait for until July to do our last FET. If my cycles go to plan I should have the transfer around the beginning of August and then I can chill out afterwards with no worry of work. Although at the moment AF was due Sunday and still no sign of her, not like me at all, she's probably trying to mess up my plans for July!!

Apart from that I'm ok, went to see Dirty Dancing last Saturday, it was brilliant...a room full of hormonal women!!! The poor bloke playing Johnny...I did feel sorry for him!! Would definitely recommend it if anyone is thinking of going tho!!

dirty dancing is supossed to be good, but not amazing!!! Complared to other musicals, however i would still love see it!!!

Wicked also supposed to good!!! on at victoria (my friend is manager there!!)

Base line scan was today, and my lining is basically non existant and ovaries hardly doing a thing!!

My left ovary was poly cystic!!! OMG!!! i thought, when the nurse said that, when i said what do u mean, she said that there were loads of tiny tiny follicles on it but they were domant, so nothing to worry about and all good!!!!

so now i wonder if that means, when they are stimmed i will get lots of follicles!!! x x

Next scan wed, after 8 days of stimms!!! Yahooo!!!!

Wahooooo!!!! Ive done my 1st injection!!!! Easy Peasy!!!! Just stright in no hassle, no pain and no bruising!!!

I am so proud of me!!! feeling good too!!! All that worrying, and it was nothing!!!!

Thx julie, had a hic up tonight, and thought!!! OMG!!! called the nurse and all's ok!!!

I had a droplet of liquid on my tummy after pulling out needle, and thought i'd lost some dose!! so it turns out that the cartridges have extra in to allow for these little drops!!!

A little pain tonight, but nothing too bad!!! all going good!!! x x

Kate nice to hear from you. That seems like such a wise thing to do, waiting til summer. It will be here in no time and it means you can relax and enjoy the sunshine in your 2 week wait.

Lucy - how are things shaping up honey? Any news on the work front? I can't believe what a b**ch that party planner was! At evert party there are always friends and relatives without children - how dare she make an assumption. I have been to a few kiddies parties now and always on my own. It doesn't make us any less fun / care less just because we are without child. Just try rise above it. Hugs hun xxx

Well all went well at the scan. We were amazed at how clear the picture was. You could see both arms and legs and nose and mlips very clearly and the heart was pulsating so so clearly! We got a nice picture too. Unfortunately my health board area do not give you a 20 week scan which means I am not entitled to any more scans however we feel really strongly that we should be entitled to it so are going to try and push for one if we can.

The sonographer kept saying that I am due 28th sept which is 6 day sahaed of my calculations. According to her dates, I would ave conceived before I ovulated and before I actually had treatment. So the midwife is happy to use my dates but has brought the date forward a couple of days so Nicki I am now due on your birthday!!
