Hey Carolyn,

You go girl! I like your action plans.
I got AF and am now waiting to ovulate. Our donor wait is 4 to 6 months now so we are waiting patiently.

Home with a sick little boy today with a high fever. That's never fun.
Have a good weekend.

Hi all, sorry I have been MIA but it has been crazy with work this week, I am a diabetes nurse educator so I have been teaching classes and seeing patients and come home and go to bed get up and start again 8) .

Carolyn I am happy you get to do the FET soon--should be on Sabi and My schedule--we can be the 3 musketeers :P

Sabi--Trust me the needles aren't so bad, after a few days it is nothing  okay I lie you will find you can not wait until they are done

Gigi--glad AF finally came---I always hate the patient waiting stuff :D

Well my donor psych eval came back clean, we signed our contract, she should be getting her copy today or tomorrow sign it hopefully first part of next week and then I get to start lupron---yea!!!!!  Since that means we will be on the road to starting. Donor will get her exam and start her lupron, then I start estrogen and once I am at the correct lining measurement (7 to 8 days usually) then Donor will start stemming then transfer. It is so close yet so far awa :x

Well I have to go to some big boring meeting I'll try to check in over the weekend :P

Oh my God Pooh!
We are sooooooooo close. We passed all tests. I have saline ultrasound Weds.-which they think should be fine. I started bc pills Friday May1. Should be starting Lupron soon too huh? They are waiting for ultrasound b4 they order meds for donor-just in case. dh had to put $12,500 deposit on credit card this week for some of donor's charges. We will be broke soon. Hopefully broke & with child/ren. Are you paying thru the roof too? Is your donor fee included?
Glad to hear your busy at work-keeps the mind off the IVF. This job I have is really a God-send 4 me. I'm exhausted but more relaxed about the procedure- hence less time to think about it.
Carolyn, love your PMA honey!! You're an inspiration to all of us! Hows AF, any better? So tell me about your "retail" damage? I'm jealous. I need to treat myself soon.
Fellow Eggheads, enjoy your week-end & hoping for PMA & a lot of babydust under your feet. Miss you!

Sabi--we will be broke together--my plan is to drive my future children by the clinic and show them where their collage education went   I have been on birth control for a while -- I am not sure about your protocol, but usually BCP is about 2 to 3 weeks and Lupron started on the last couple of days. the time is so close I am just itching to get started!!

Hi egg-heads!

to sabi, poohgirl and carolyn -Sending lots of PMA and baby dust your way as you start your cycles over the next few weeks!

chriss - hope you are well and can soon start counting down the days till summer vacation, and hopefully the start of your cycle!

gigi - best of luck to you and DH as you keep trying, while waiting -- not a bad way to pass the time, I would say! Hope your son is feeling better!!

jen b- hope you are enjoying the weather and getting out and about seeing friends and family! Do you already have a new donor, or will the search begin after you've completed your next round of immune tests you wanted to do?

kelly - hope you and your babies are doing well!

I am doing well. We have our next appointment in about two weeks. My mother is coming out for a visit in a few weeks and we are busy trying to get house projects finished that have been lingering on the to-do list!

Sabi, the swine flu hasn't really hit big here in Germany. Only 8 cases so far, and they say all are recovering or have recovered. Do you know anyone who has been affected?

Take good care and have a great week!

Hi everyone,

Sabi, Pooh & Carolyn, you are all well on your way. Sounds like you are all ready and excited. PMA to all of you.

Summer, you sound great! How are you feeling? Can you believe it yet?

Gigi, how's your son doing? Hope he is better.

Hi JenBabes & Kelly, thinking of you guys.

Not much to say here, just wanted to check in with you all. It's a rainy weekend here. Dh and I are about to head out to a movie. Made some chicken soup today, smells yummy. Look forward to your posts:)

hey chriss - enjoy the movies and your chicken soup! Yum!! :D
What are you going to see? I am always looking for something to see!
I am feeling really fine and like my old self. I don't know if it has to do with entering the 2. trimester  or that I decided to just enjoy what is going on and not worry so much - Que sera, sera, whatever will be, will be.
And, DH painted our living room a really nice yellow -- so it looks like the sun is shining inside all the time - who wouldn't be happy about something like that?

Hi gals!

Thanks for the wishes for my son. He was born with hypothyroidism (in addition to severe club feet) so when he gets a fever, he gets complications. He did great and is all well.

I am leaving friday for the first time alone with my mom in 5 years (without a child attending) on a cruise and am excited...however, it's during ovulation. Hoping I ovulate the morning I depart. If not, no worries. We have time on our hands until we get an ED.

Poohgirl: I am excited to watch your journey from start to finish...do you know much about the donor? do you find out if they have any other children or not? Just curious.

Sabi: Glad you have a good credit card for all of the expenses. It just stinks. I feel like we should get 50 percent money back if it doesn't work. That should be the law. It would provide incentive for being watched more closely..at least in my clinic.

Carolyn: Glad your hubby is around again. Please rest and only read positive books and articles right now. You have great PMA. You are an inspiration.

Take care ladies. Praying for some early ovulation over here.
