hi Nimble no your not stupid our cycles are so different and all have different names for the same thing it gets really confusing...
yeah well i go thursday for bloods and a scan i think (not sure if i have a scan) and if im surpressed (ovarys have stopped)i start my gonal F that night i cant wait i had a few days off but now im all hothothot again...

we all say oo im not going to ...and we all do...LOL.. its part of the joy of IVF...

Hey, thats bril news - so all being well you should be well on your way in a couple of weeks with a BFP at the end of the month...oh you so deserve it - can't wait to see it flashing up in lights here!!

No not long, 8 days but the funny thing is I'm not tempted with the HPT at all, not because I have the will power of an ox, but just don't want to see it come up neg. More I think of it, not sure I will want to do it next monday either (our clinic doesn't do bloods) feel if i don't know, then the reality of it won't set in (if it is a BFN)....does make sense or is it the hormones!! However I'm still very postive and have loads of pma so don't want to burst the bubble! Sorry ramblings of mad woman!

me im still sweating and waiting...ovarys are killing me did anyone else have pain while on Lupron? i didnt have this before also really pooped all the time too i was a bit worried it may be signs of an evil cysts sowing up...right on time...

You may be producing a good amount of follicles already-the more bloated could mean the follicles are larger or your producing alot. As long as you don't get too stimulated it's a good sign you may have some to freeze after!

Well test date has arrived and I feel dreadful. I woke up about an hour ago in severe pain so I really do think I might have OHSS now. Still at least I can mention it to the clinic and see what they think.

Dar - I hope that you read this before you go. Good luck

Paula - I am so sorry to read your post and I am very worried about you. Please let us know how you are getting on.

Aunty - It looks like only a few more days and you will be onto the stims. I had some pain with the downregulation, but I also had a cyst on one ovary so that could have been the reason. I love the new list and I think that it is wonderful that we can stay in our familiar home here.

Souris - Not long now for you. I bet you are getting excited now.

Emma27 Good luck for EC on Tuesday.

Nimble - I think that you have the right idea to stay away from the HPT's. They are evil. I only gave in once and it was a very faint positive. I couldn't give myself the heartache of doing another one.

Ems Happy Birthday. How nice of your mum and dad to offer to pay for you.

Vickie - Don't worry we will all still be around to support you when you start again. I think the plan is that we don't go to the other side until everyone has caught up.

Well here is the plan for today. I am going to have my bloods taken in about an hour and then get my results at 2pm GMT. I will post and let you know as soon as I can whatever the result.

I have kept in email contact with a lady who had her treatment at the same time as me. It was spooky as we had every scan together and then the EC and ET on the same days. Anyway she has done about 5 HPT's over the last few days and they started off as faint positive but are now strong positives. I heard this last night and it has started to get me worried. I know it is silly but our clinic told us that once they had done ET we had an over 50% chance of getting pregnant. My silly brain last night was thinking that now she has had the positive out of us mine will be negative. Also I had the better quality embrios. Silly or what.

Anyway I just wanted to say a really big thank you to all of your for your support, which has kept me sane so far. I will post later

Well I have been for the blood test. I told the nurse all about the symptoms I have been having and she just stood there grinning like a cheshire cat , which I take to be a good sign. We will know this afternoon.

I'm not too good this morning, my SIL gave birth during the night, it's her 2nd now since we've been trying and although I thought I was prepared it just hit me like a ton of bricks and I cried my eyes out all the way to work. If anyone saw me they must have thought I was some kind of mad woman!! Anyway I know it's really selfish cos I am jealous of her joy but I just can't help it!!b I also don't want to go and visit but obviously it's inevitable, I just hope I can control myself and keep it together. The rest of the family live away so they've all been phoning me to get more info and I just feel like screaming at them to leave me alone. Anyway moan over, sorry to go on

sweetie, I'm sure we've all had days like that...well I know I have!!
I think pretty much most of our friends are pregnant or have kids now..some planned some not. I truly undersatnd how you feel about not wanting to visit her. When my best friend had her wee girl 4 mths ago I was exactly the same, and I held it together at the hospital and completly lost it in the carpark after I left. You are certainly not selfish to feel the way you do, please don't beat yourself up over feeling like this...infertility comes with its own rules and emotions, just remember we areall here to support you emotioally.

You have EC tomorrow?? Good luck and keep us posted.

hi ange - my 2ww buddy - guess you're probably asleep by now. How are you feeling ?

Haylie - don't feel guilty about your feelings, I think we have all had them and still do!! When we went to Wales at the weekend, I requested that my in-laws didn't agree to take on all the grandkids for the weekend - bad eh!! I'm also avoiding going out in with the girls who have children as they spending all evening talking about them!!

Aunty - poor you - still sweating buckets eh ! sounds like your ovarys are getting ready for good olde action. I was also pooped during my down reg and falling asleep on the sofa most nights before nine!

Will back here checking up on you Angela - I bet the wait is impossible....

Thanks Girls, i feel a bit better now I'm so glad I have you all to lean on I don't know how I would cope otherwise.

I have egg collection in the morning so have to focus on that now and get my pma back in motion.

Aunty - I was awful on the down reg meds, although it wasn't Lupron I was also so tired and didn't have any energy. When I mentioned this to the nurse she said it was cos my oestrogen was in my boots! So that's prob where yours is right now! You will feel better as soon as you start stimming
