News just in

We have 6 embryos. Woohoo ImageI was telling hubby about my dream of having 6 embries a few hours ago, and we just had the call and that's what we have.

Yesterday mom said we'd have 4 good embries and I said that's why we're calling, the lab just called and we have 4 good ones 2 trying to make it, and we both fell about laughing. And now I've predicted right.

So we're having our ET 8.30am tomorrow because we have:-

3 embries that are 2 cells - 1 at Grade 2, 1 at Grade 3, and a poor one at Grade 4.

Then the other 3 embries are at 4 cells - 2 at Grade 2 and the other at Grade 3.

We're so excited and I've asked if they can Freeze them at day 3 so that the other 2 celled grade 2 and one of the grade 3's has a chance for next time. If we left them to freeze at 5d there's more of a chance that they won't survive the thaw, and as we know that 3d embries survive thawing better than 5's. So at least then we'll have 3 to freeze hoping that the grade three's last the night.

We're off to visit my mom and dad, and then see my sister and her little clan as my nephew is saying his first words now he's 7 months, and I can't wait to see him and his sisters, 4 and 7.

We're so excited and so happy, and thanks again you guys you've been brilliant at keeping me sain.

Anie - Wishing you all the luck sweetie and happy baby day for today :D

Sonya thats really good news - praying for you !!

I don't think it will be the same for me (and I know what you are all going to say) but def think I'm having a bout of PMT :( having sweats at night (which is what I normally get when due on) and having in a foul mood with DH for no reason what so ever and then burst in to tears earlier when a watering can fell onto my nose !! Then to make it worse, I've had some bright red spotting so now doing a loo check every 30mins!

I can't wait til Wednesday to test - so I have decided to go and buy a hpt tomorrow (blasted shops are all shut today :x )

However one good piece of news is that we got a letter yesterday from NHS and we have been the go ahead for our freebie  so atleast it does give us another chance.

sorry to be a downer on such a gorgoeus easter sunday .....

back to the sofa and will post personals later

OMG what is going on around hear!!!! :D :D :D

Sonya – my test day buddy, I’m so pleased for you, can’t believe you have been testing so much you make me laugh. CONGRATULATIONS :D :D

Nimble – please stay positive honey, I can so relate to what your saying, had a dream last night that I was bleeding everywhere, woke myself crying. Told DH this morning I really don’t think it’s worked again. He then had a right go at me for not staying positive which in turn made me cry, I wasn’t talking to him until an hour ago!!! Come on sweetie PMA, PMA so hope you get that BFP. Good news about the NHS but you wont be needing it quite yet!! :)

Marcia – good luck with ET, you get those little one’s back home where they belong.

Anie – hope ET went well and your little ones are snuggling nicely.

Jill – totally agree with you, I’m to chicken to test early as well. You definitely going to stick it out to your test day??

Quita – glad I made you laugh chick. :D Can you put me down for a nice bed jacket please, 8) I’m sure DH will find it a right turn on!!!!

Rae- would love to see some pics but if your anything like me with computers it will take you a lifetime to figure out how to post the pics.

Well I hope everyone is having a lovely Easter catch you all soon.

Well I did it, I did the CVS one step first thing in the morning.....negative went back to save on had to get another one so I got the 1st response came home and did it right away and again negative, I still have a little bit of doubt because with the First response I didn't have hardly any urine I know your supposed to do it first thing in the morning but Im just not satisfied with the negative so Im going to wait and do another first response this afternoon if that doesnt work I think I will try EPT tomorrow ....I JUST CAN"T TAKE NEGATIVE FOR THE ANSWER AFTER ALL THIS!!!!! I have to see a positive!!! WIsh me luck.... Happy Easter!!!

MamaCardenas, if it is a BFN early, do not worry… I cheated and took one the day before the blood test because I found one in my room and it was a negative response, but the day later we got the strong BFP. I have heard that the Dollar Tree HPTs are really good. But I have NEVER gotten a positive result from any brand, although we are pregnant now.

Sokru8, congrats!!!!

Happy Easter Everyone!!!

Hi Ladies,

Just a quick update for me - My ET is going to be tomorrow instead of today..HUH!!! My doctor called me this morning and told me that 1 excellent quality embyo reached the blastocyst stage today and the remaining 4 excellent quality embryos are not quite ready for blastocyst stage today, so he recommended that it's best to wait for another more day so they can select the best embryos for implantation. I'm a little bit disappointed but I guess my clinic know what thier doing.

Has anyone had a 6 day trasfer?

Happy Easter everyone..
