Hey Indigo! So its almost go time for you huh? The 13th is going to be a lucky day for you...I can just feel it. Its the day we will find out the gender of our little one too. Try not to work too hard...although I still think that all the distraction I had with work and a very laissez faire outlook helped us finally get preggo!
How are the stims treating you? Praying for lots of perfect follies and a hospitable lining.

The stims are treating me great! As for the donor I don't know...tee hee. No stims for me! Just waiting to see how our donor does. Right now I"m on estrogen, prednisone and aspirin and I had intralipids done on Friday. Once I know the retrieval day I'll start on PIO, doxycycline and medrol. (I think I have that right?)
I'm going to be super busy this week which is a good thing. It'll keep my mind off of it all.
Thanks for all the support guys,
Indigo

Hi ladies,
Quick question that I would like to run by you ladies. As all of you know I suffered a MC a little over a month ago. The bleeding from the MC only lasted one day. I presumably had my AF a few weeks later and I recall it being quite heavy and painful. It lasted about 7 days and then stopped. However, I have been, I guess spotting, on and off since then. I've gone from very dark brown discharge to pink discharge to red discharge. Sorry for TMI. I would call it discharge because I don't really even think you would consider it spotting. I am worried now because I have been on the Lupron for a week and I am still on the extra week of BCP's but still experiencing the discharge as I discribed above. My last BCP will be on the September 7th. I am due to have my blood work and Ultrasound on September 12th with or without AF but at this point I think it's going to be difficult for me to even identify the first day of my cycle (AF) because of the continued bloody discharge. I guess I should be able to identy AF once the flow actually starts (so day 2 or 3). I will call my RE tomorrow but has anyone experience anything like this before? Should I be worried that my uterus may not be ready to start this next cycle? I appreciate any feedback you ladies may have. Thank you as always.

Sounds like a side effect of Lupron. I've heard that before. Your first day should come after you stop the bfp about 3-5 days later. You'll know because it'll be more of a flow and day 1 is counted as the first full day of flowing blood.
Hope that helps?

Indigo-thanks for the response. I guess my concern is that I've had this discharge since way before I began on the Lupron. It's been since the miscarriage, so well over a mnrh. Or technically since my AF right after the miscarriage so foe about a month. What do you think?

Sorry Indigo! Hee hee...I completely forgot you were going with a donor and I feel so silly. Blame it on pregnancy brain...which is a VERY real phenomenon as I am sure you will experience for yourself very soon.

hi wehavehope- I just wanted to drop in and wish you luck. I wish I had some explanation for your ongoing bleeding but I really can't offer any suggestions. I did a cycle right after a miscarriage and did continue to spot on/off from the miscarriage through the lupron, but it was really mild and always brown (old blood). I did tell my RE and she was not concerned. Hopefully you'll be able to ask your office soon. Good luck!

Sdtryingagain-thank you so much for your support.
I spoke to my RE yesterday. He is now definantely somewhat concerned about the continuous bloody discharge or spotting I have had for about a month since my last AF. He is afraid that I may still have some "product of conception" left over that is causing the continuous bleeding. Although he did say that he thought that is this was that case that it is probably very minimal because there is no pregnancy hormone (Hcg) being produced as evidenced by my most recent zero Beta. He said that he feels confident and hopeful that with this next AF that everything left over from the MC will be expelled. However he was quite clear that if after this next AF and once I start on the Estrogen patches that if the bleeding continues he will recomended to hold off on the FET and to do a D&C. Urg... I can't imagine waiting even longer for the FET but I completely understand where he is coming from. If my body has not been able to get rid of everything it needs to after the MC then my endometrium would not be in any condition for a transfer much less implantation of my embies. Ahhh, I hate this IVF rollercoaster. If it's not one thing it another. I know he is right and I have to trust what he says. Like he said, he is hopeful that with this next AF everything will be cleared out but we will just have to wait and see. He said that one way or another we should probably know for sure by the end of next week since I should start the Estrogen Patches on Monday night. So many unknowns! All I have left is to trust in God, believe that what is best is what will happen, and have faith that everything will be ok.
