Hi, I found out on April 28. I have my first scan on 5/10. It's a little early, but they wanted to confirm it wasn't ectopic before I take a flight (which I think I'm going to cancel now anyway b/c I'm nervous). Do you all have a lot of symptoms. Aside from sore progesterone boobs, I don't have any - I just get the feeling that I'm not alone. Nothing I can really describe, but just a feeling down there. I wish I had something more substantial. Congrats to everyone.

Hi!
Well I am tired..and some times feel a bit sick but not much at all I do have some extra vaginal discharge (sorry if that is tmi)..I do get warm..but that could be from the progesterone and the estrace...I had NO pregnancy symptoms whatsoever when I was pregnant with my daughter 15 years ago other than sore boobs. I just read an actress just had a baby and she said she had no symptoms either.. :)

OK, thank you Rain. I can conjure up some imaginary symptoms sometimes. It would just be reassuring to have one good vomit session (you gave TMI, so I figured I could too), although I know I'll eat my words if that ever happens. That's so exciting you are pregnant again. 15 years in between! And the first one was natural? When's your u/s?

Hi ladies-
I'm joining you somewhat cautiously at this point. I had a bfp on 5/2 after my 1st FET. I had another bfp in March w/our 1st IVF, but it ended in m/c. Here's my concerns....

My 1st bfp on March was only a beta of 9. It did double to 18 in 2 days, but didn't rise sufficiently enough 5 days later. I ended up having a D&E.

This time, with our FET, my 1st beta (8dp6dt) was 38. We weren't concerned at first b/c we did test very early and my RE said that lower beta's are very common w/FET. Anyway, 2 days later my beta was 60. It didn't double in 48 hrs, but some places say it should double every 48-72 hrs and that if it rises at least 60% (which ours did) in 48 hours you're okay.

I hope to get to stay here w/you all, but I'm very anxious to go through another m/c. I have to wait 5 days (till Thursday) to test again. Congrats to the rest of you and I appreciate any feedback you might have!

Hi Ladies,
I guess I belong here as I tested positive on April 23rd. My betas were good and being that I had a miscarriage in February, My doctor said I could just come back for the sono in a week which is tomorrow. Waiting for the HCG results was making me crazy as I had a problem with very low numbers last time, so she felt it was too stressful for me to keep going back every 2 days.
Don't have too many symptoms right now but I am only alittle over 5 weeks. Boobs are kind of sore but not much and I get alittle nausea in the morning, but then again I could be causing that myself with all the worry. Hahahaha.
I think once I see the heartbeat in a few weeks I will feel better as I lost the last pregnancy at 7.5 weeks. So getting to that point will be nerve wracking. It is nice to know that I am not alone. This board has been so helpful to me over the past 2 years. I wish you all good news this week and I will post again tomorrow.

Rainrainrain

I live in Broomfield CO just east of Boulder, CO. I go to a place called Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine. They have a main office in Englewood Co and satellite offices all over so I go to the one in Avista hospital which is in Louisville. I hope this helps, I highly recommend them, especially bc of the positive result and I hear they are ranked pretty high as well. Good luck.

Hi dear January friends:

The little symptom I had of sore boobs has disappeared. I've heard of symptoms coming and going, but this is a weird one to go while we're still on PIO, I think. Any experience with that?

Congrats to Lisa!

I hear that symptoms come and go.....My boobs tend to not hurt as much if I am no wearing a bra, you know llike after I have gotten up in the morning and jump in the shower..they don't hurt right after the shower..its like they are used to being stretched (lol) They hurt the most at the end of the day when I take my bra off.
I am doing the pio shots too,,,they are buggers..my butt is so sore on both sides and bumpy, lumpy! I wonder what can be done with those bumps..I will ask tomorrow.

rain

i don't know why i don't have bumps. i have this great heating pad. the brand is kaz smart temp moist heat pad. i heat it in the microwave for 1.5 minutes and heat my bottom before the shot for 10 min. and then again after the shot for 10 minutes. we also make sure to massage it for 2-5 minutes. i'm sure you're doing all this and maybe our butts are just different. all pregnancies are different and so are all butts, i guess.

Hi ladies - When I did the Progesterone IM injections last IVF and this IVF I iced the area for about 15 minutes and I'll tell you it saved me lots of pain. I rub it a little after but have only gotten 1 bump this time and I make sure I move around a bit to help get the Oil moving around. The ice has been a lifesaver as far as the pain factor.

I'll post my 3rd Beta Test results tomorrow and hopefully my scan date. I've been feeling minimal stuff like pressure in my tummy and some swelling in my breasts. So hopefully things will be good. Sending all of you lovely ladies much wonderful Baby Angel Dust. Take Care!

Love,
Christine
