START STIMMS 7TH JUNE????

Hi Kelly, you have my info correct. I start the Menopur and Ganirelix shots tonight on top of the Follistim I'm already taking. They're pulling out the big guns!

I have a Thursday and a Saturday scan scheduled. I'm not sure yet when they're expecting egg retrieval. Just playing it by ear at this point. Should know more on Thursday.

Jodi, good news on your scan this morning! Only two more days! We'll all be praying that you have lots of good eggs in those follies!

Has anyone had any side effects from the meds? I don't seem to be having the mood swings, but I sweat like crazy every night even with the air conditioning cranked! Yuck!

Vicky, looking forward to hearing how your scan is today!

Jodi....looks like we started stims together on the 5th. I don't know when my ER will be, as Michelle, we are playing it by ear right now. 6-8 Follies is a great number!!

Kelly...loved your list idea, so we don't get confused, I am pasting my update below...

Michelle.....good luck on your scans on Thursday and Saturday!!!!.

I just had a scan this morning, apparently I still have the same 5-6 follies I had yesterday (well, it wasn't supposed to change anyway, but one always have some hope

), they are bigger though, yesterday they were between 11-14mm, today they were more towards the 15mm (except one that is already 19mm, might lose that one

). I will hear from the nurse this afternoon, guess they will tell me to go back tomorrow or Wednesday for another scan. I guess ER would be by the end of this week...

Hi ladies - sorry to be boring you all, but as you know I've got my scan tomorrow after starting stimms on 7th June but..... what I'm concerned about is that I don't seem to have any increase in cervical mucus and I kind of thought I would as in a natural cycle I have (fertile mucus). Sorry to be nosy but have you lot got of mucus 'cos I am dry as a bone and its worrying me really.

I haven't had any on my end either. Just night sweats! No cervical mucus though.

IVFMOM, I don't have any mucus as well, and normally I do, so don't worry about it......

Me neither. I don't usually get cervical mucus until closer to my ER date - a couple days before. I remember my first round I thought I was ovulating before ER so I freaked out but now I know that is all part of the process!

ok, so I received the call, they want me to have anooooooooooother scan tomorrow!!!!.
Hopefully ER will be soon, I feel like I am electromagnetic already with all this scans

Well Vicky that sucks, but it's best that they time it just right. We want your little follies to be the perfect size to give them the best chance for fertilization. Good luck tomorrow!

Hey ladies...
My DH is ready to give me my HCG shot right in the ^&*^&^..... Looking forward to that.... I actually started the Follistim on the 1 June.. Oh... DH is looking for a "Cute butt" be back.......

Nice.. Yummy..... Lovely.....

Back to the 1 June... I am too dumb to figure out how to copy the information.... For real.... Anyway.. I believe I am the oldest one here 41. I am scared. I did get a little sweat suit capri pant to wear- fuschia and a navey top to wear... Little things in life....

I hope that everyone who is getting scanned tomorrow that it goes well... Lots of follies for everyone...

Hi there, can't believe you've just had you're hcg shot, the goal is that bit closer Jodi.
I've just been for a scan I have 5 follies on one side and 3 on the other, he didn't give sizes or anything, he just said everything looked fine. So I go back in on Friday 15th June for another scan and to be told when to do the hcg shot, etc.
Felt loads better as was panicking that I was going to get to Friday, my 9th day of stimms only to be told that it hadn't worked or that I need a higher dose or something.
But anyway glad to get that all down as don't really have anyone to talk to because there is only myself and my husband that know we are going through the treatment, so sometimes its hard not being able to run things over with someone. Thank God for this site.

Hope everyones scans go well tomorrow. Let us know

I can't get over how close we all are in number of follicles and timing! This is great.
Best of luck Jodi on your ER tomorrow. We are looking forward to hearing about all the eggs they get!
Vicky, I am sure that extra day will allow your eggs to mature to the perfect size! Good luck on the scan today.

Hi girls!!!!, well I just came back from the doctor, had my scan, looks like 6 follies are growing well, they are all now around 19mm, so it looks like I would be getting my HCG shot tonight!!!!!! and if that is the case ER would be on Friday!!!

Jodi.....how great that you already had your trigger shot!!!, good luck tomorrow on ER, keep us posted!!!!

IVFMum.....I have the same dilemma, this time around I haven't told anybody, only DH and my parents know. But sometimes I would like someone else to know so I could share, but on the other hand, it's a lot of pressure as well when other people know, and the truth is they don't understand the whole process like we do.....oh well...

Vicky, That is awesome that you are having your ER on Friday (a great day - since it is my birthday)!!!! And six follies is great!

I too have told no one this time around. So many of my friends and my family know that I am going through IVF but after the first few disappointments I stopped telling people when it was happening. Now when people ask I just say 'hopefully soon but it is very dependent on my cycle'. So, it is just my DH and I that know this time around. Part of it is when it was a negative I had to relive it each time someone asked me how the cycle went - that was too hard.
