Hi buddies

sorry that i have some heart breaking news, my beta has dropped...Its sad that its all over for this little embie....little one Loved and lost...

the next step is to stop the meds( already done) and Af should arrive in 3-4 days .If not will need a scan then D&C. The clinic said that i should bleed ok as only 5 wks gone, they also said we have been unlucky...
yeah I know that script already. As we have been through this twice before....The only consolation ( spelling???) is that this has been lost at 5 wks and not later on where i know it can be more heart breaking ( as those who have had m/c know only to well x x x)

we have decided to wait until DH's busy schedule at work is over ( Nov-dec) and go for FET in Jan.
the only good thing to come out of this is to say at least i did get preg and I gotta hold onto that...

but as you all know Grief hurts like hell...and time is the only way to mend my & Dh's broken hearts. We have each other and that is a Blessing.


unfortunaltely ,my Parents in law are due up tomorrow for 4 days. Nightmare to have to be so vulnerable to them but Will need to tell them as i will be in floods of tears for a few days...

will catch up with you all soon...

JenB I am so very sorry for your loss, I truly understand what you are going through, and I know it will take some time until your heart heals but it will happen, believe me. I really wish your dream can come true on your next cycle, please keep us posted!

Jen - I am really sorry to hear the news that the embie didn't make it. It is horrible to have your hopes dashed like that - we are all so vulnerable in this process. I hope you benefit from your time out and come back when you are ready to do a FET.

Shantell, Vicky, Melinda - how are you doing ? Scans today I think ?- it is already Thursday here in Oz. I 'll be waiting to hear your news.

This has been the longest week EVER - I am not joking - it is still only THursday and I STILL have 2 days before my scan.

I am feeling a bit calmer. I have sore bbs, a bit bloated and keep getting hungry. My mind is playing tricks on me - sometimes I feel really pregnant and I'm convinced its twins and sometimes I feel nothing at all!

Shantell - good to see another 38 year old here!

Hi Angie! It is only 8:34 p.m. here (Wed night). I still have about 15 hours (and counting) before my scan. I am exhausted (thank God) and I am about to go to bed.

Vicky - what time is your scan tomorrow????

Well girls , we had the scan and guess what?????????............WE SAW THE HEARTBEAT!!!!!!!!!, yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh , there was only one beanie. Me and DH are the happiest people ever!!!!!!, nobody can erase those smiles from our face right now .
We are going back next Thursday for a follow up scan.

How far along are you?

My doctor saw 2 sacs but said it is too soon for a heartbeat/s. I am 5 weeks. He seemed very pleased with everythign and said they are growing.

He said not to tell people it is twins yet because sometimes you can miscarry one early on. But there is definitely 2 there!

Congratulations Shantell!!!!!!!!!!!!, that is so cool to have twins!!!. Yes, 5weeks is wayyyy too early to see a HB, I am 6w4d today. When are you going back??

He said not to worry though because most of the time you don't hear the heartbeat until 7 weeks. He was really happy with everything.

I really hate this waiting game!

He told me to quit stressing and quit reading the internet. He said the hard part is over!

The last time you got a BFP were you able to hear the heartbeat?

He is right, quit stressing!!! (what a nerve, me of all people telling you this ). No, on my last BFP I never saw the HB, that is why this was sooo important to me. Actually, I was so nervous last night that I cried almost all night to DH telling him I thought everything was over ....oh well, I guess the hormones are pumping up!!!

Sorry so many questions but I am new to all of this. On your last pregnancy were you levels OK or did you start out low and go from there?

Hey, stop it, you are asking all these questions just to torture yourself, I am not telling you anymore about my last one . Every pregnancy is different, you can't go by what happened to other people. Also, you have great numbers, your babies are looking great on the U/S, so think about that, stop thinking about everything else ..................
I asked my RE about not having any symptoms, and he said that's normal, so that relieved me a bit......
