Hi Ladies,
one more day closer to testing and getting our BFP's! I hope everyone is doing well & hanging in there. I'm staying busy with work, Christmas shopping, and tonight I have a figure drawing class that's always fun. I think it helps to stay busy. I also read at night before I go to bed to try to get my mind off of baby thoughts & anxiety -so far that's only working a little.

Hi Ladies

Mind if I join you? I test tomorrow which will be 12 days after FET. Am feeling exactly the sam physical and mental symptoms. Was convinced it had worked, then sure it hadn't, now who knows? Had some cramping and my nips look bigger!!!!!

Am on a very short fuse with everyone. Was woken in the night by the youngest and couldn't get back to sleep for ages so feel dreadful today. Worried that if this has worked I wll be the oldest new mother in my county!

Hi Everyone

Hope you are all ok and hanging in there. I am also feeling better today and more upbeat about it all. I ran an event for work yesterday with about 60 attendees and was really busy. At the end of it all I suddenly realised that I hadn't thought about the 2ww for 3 hours - the longest length of time in the last 7 days when it has been out of my mind (except when I have been asleep I suppose).

Good luck with your driving test Angela - although I bet I know which of the 2 Xmas pressies you would rather have!

Good luck Fiona for tomorrow - we will all be thinking of you.

hi ladies,

has anyone had anything similar to this??? for the 3 days after ET I had bloating, cramping and a really achy chest. Now it's the 4th day & my nipples are hurting, but my chest isn't and my stomach has ceased all bloating and cramping.......I am hoping this doesn't mean what I think it means :(.

please share anything you guys are going thru :) - praying for us all!

Laivf

I have been bloated since EC and it has not gone down yet (now 9 days since EC, 7 since ET). I also had quite a lot of cramping for about 3 days which has gone away - I reckon that was just the result of the procedure. I also have sore nipples and boobs which I think is a good thing - not sure though cos it is my first time.

The only thing I have worked out from this forum is that we all experience different symptons and I wouldn't read too much into anything. The only thing you can do is try and keep positive until test day.

Hi Ros,

Did you clinic do a 3 day transfer or a 5 day transfer?

2 day transfer! The norm for them apparently. I had 2 x 4 cell embryos put back in.

That might be why I was still feeling the effects from the EC procedure as ET was only 2 days later. Still bloated though.

I think you're right Ros. I had a 5 day transfer and it made a huge difference on how I felt by transfer day to have more recovery time. I had 3 day transfers before and would still be suffering effects for the egg retrieval.

Hey 2nd timer and Ros,

One more day down, 7 to go. We are done with half!! It's no longer a 2ww... now it's a 1ww. Dec. 5 is the first night of Chanuka, so if we have reason to celebrate, I'll eat an extra chocolate coin in your honor.

Ros, glad to hear you're also feeling better. How are you holding up, 2-tmr.? Hang in there guys.

Later,
Shari

Hi Ladies

Just a thought to make you all feel so much better! For those lucky enough to get a BFP, the 12 week waiting (or 8) is even worse! Still, one step at a time.

Looking forward to another dodgy night's sleep......

I am not even thinking that far ahead Fiona. Just taking one step at a time, if I get a BFP next week it will be a minor miracle (for me at least) and then then I will worry about the next 2ww until the scan!!

I am excited that it's just 1 week now!
Are anyone of you ladies finding yourselves very, very sleepy in the afternoons? I can barely stay awake. Fortunately I work at home, so I can nap on my lunch hour. I start out each day feeling pretty good, then by lunch time I feel like I've taken a tranquilizer.
I have to say, I love this forum. It's been wonderful meeting so many women going through the same thing as I am. I don't talk about the IVF with anyone except my husband, sister,& one close friend. I just don't like people gossiping about me & feeling sorry for me. Thanks for all the support!

Here's a results list for us:

Testing on 12/05/07

Testing when?

Apologies if I've left anyone off, please just add yourselves to the list.
