Just Got BFP Confirmation, but I have the flu, with fever

Wow, that's really bad luck. I am so sorry to hear that your happy moment of finally getting the call you've got a BFP has been clouded over by all this angst. I'm thinking of you, and hope the next beta goes better. You're right; this stinks big time.

Well, the number increased... so yes, let's hold on to the hope. I hope you are staying horizontal a LOT. Even if they didn't say to do it in so many words, I'd put myself on bed rest for sure. I will say that a good friend had medium-heavy bleeding all throughout her pregnancy, and she has a beautiful baby girl today. My SIL had the same, and was on bed rest from the very beginning. That pregnancy resulted in beautiful twins. Try to stay positive and again, PLEASE stay off your feet.

How are you feeling Hoekey? I know your next beta is tomorrow but has the cold/flu/illness passed now?

Well, BT is tomorrow, I will be there first thing. Probably won't get the results until at least noon though. The flu symptoms are gone, no fever, intermittent coughing, but really not too much of that any more. Actually managed to get to church yesterday and the in-laws for Sunday dinner. I am really tired today though. I have had absolutely no more bleeding, spotting, or even pinkish discharge. I have also been POAS every day. The line is definitely still there and got darker from Saturday to Sunday and shows up immediately. So I am really trying to stay positive. I really think the flew is gone but I am plagued by boughts of nausea, and I have been having twinges, slight cramping, in the tummy area. Since I was tired today, I gave myself another day in bed. Really is boring, you can only play so much solitair and watch so many movies, but if the end result is a baby, I'll lay here for the next 8 months, . Thanks for checking back with me girls, I was really too sick to hang out here the last couple days and really felt lost. As soon as Iget news tomorrow I will post, I just hope it's good

Well Girls, Drum Roll... 487!!! The nurse was very excited. They were hoping for 370. My U/S is the 18th, I am beside myself. DH nearly cried. After the rash, the flu, and low numbers on that 2nd test I really thought this was over. I was so tired and was actually lying down to take a nap, now I can't even think about sleeping. Thanks a ton girls for all your support and kind words.
