Hey Ladies!

Hope everyone is having a good week. Mine is better than last week. AFter my BFN, I didnt even want to get up in the morning, but things are better and I got my new calendar so I am feeling positive and happy now. I started BCP on 2/7...they will go until 27th. I am not doing Lupron this cycle...but I cant remember what the new med is called. But its only 3 shots! then Follistum again. I stimmed for 11 days last time, so I think that this cycle will probably be the same. ER is tentatively scheduled for March 13th. Not sure if we will do a 3 or 5 day transfer. My eggs last cycle looked strange...they are hoping the change in meds will make a difference...we are hoping that my egg quality is not poor. We retreived 14 eggs last time 11 fert. but only 3 made it to blast. Only one was grade D....so they didnt respond like we thought....anyway.....looks like mid march everything will be happening again! So 4 weeks...I can handle that! I feel good this time....Its going to work! Sorry for rambling..... Cant wait for everyone on this thread to get started....seems like alot of us are going to be at ER within days of each other!!!!! :D

Hi everyone!

Have you seen the all of the BFPs on the Jan/Feb thread? It's crazy!! We'll have to ask them what their secret is. Hmmm....I think it's a sign that 2008 will be a good year for all of us!

Nicaliw: I love the list idea. It's fun to see where everyone's at (or will be!) in their upcoming IVF/FET cycle. I was sorry to hear on your last post about your BFP loss. Are you doing okay? I'm sure that this annoying waiting game doesn't help matters. But....March/April will be here before we know it!

Neffi211: I'm glad to hear that things are looking up for you this week. In fact, your PMA is contagious! I have a good feeling for us this time too!

Suzhan: Thanks for the info on the Chinese herbs, etc. Hmmm...perhaps I should give that a try. It couldn't hurt, right?!?

I hope you all are having a good week. Nothing new to report here. Talk to you all later!

I just wanted to wish al the girls in this cycle lots of Baby dust!
I ate tons of pineapple after my ET so I heard that it helps with implantation, myth or not, I did it. I also tried to keep a PMA although I had a couple of breakdowns
Good luck and I hope 2008 is a wonderufl year for all of us! :D

Hi all!

Neffi, thanks for the Valentines wishes! Did anyone do anything fun? Unfortunately, I have a stomach bug---can't say that made for a very romantic holiday! :(

Riogirl: It was so nice of you to post here! Thanks so much for the encouragement and advice. Okay, note to self, EAT PINEAPPLE!! Did you eat it only after your transfer?

I just picked up my meds today. It's weird having them in the house when I won't be starting for so long (I don't start Lupron until 2/25). Oh well, I guess they just want me to be prepared.

I hope you all are doing well. It's been so nice getting to know you!

Hi Everyone!

I haven't posted in a long while. Doing an FET is totally different. It's almost "boring" (I can't think of a better word right now) because there is no stimming. I have embryos waiting for me, but I'm anxious to see how many survive the thawing process. I will be on BCP until the end of February and start Estradiol shots the first week of March. My ET is March 19th. That's why there are no "updates" from me. However, I have been keeping up with the posts in this thread!

Neffi... thank you for the Valentine' Day wishes!! Very sweet! My husband and I went to Disneyland (we're big fans) and stayed at the hotel for a night. It was a lot of fun and nice to spend time together.

Rlk1... sorry about the stomach bug. I was sick last week and so was DH. Something is going around. Hope you're feeling better today!

Riogirl... thank you for the pineapple tip!! I'm definitely trying it!! Congratulations on your success!!

By the way, I finally ended up watching "The Secret" which is all about PMA. I will have to say it is very "sell-sy". Seems like an infomercial on how to make money fast. Finally towards the end they started talking about how thinking positively affects your health. It was good because it was a refresher of things I already knew and gave some tips like visualizing your dream for a few minutes every day. However, the focus on becoming wealthier was a little too much in my opinion. Maybe it's because I'm not looking to become rich, just looking to have a healthy baby! :D :D

I also went to my second acupuncture. I'm still trying to figure out if it's helping. During my second session, I almost fell asleep. I was very relaxed. However, I didn't have a great sleep later that night like I did the first time. Hmmmmm... And I'm not taking any herbs. Maybe because I'm doing an FET? I'm going to have to ask my acupuncturist about that.

Nicaliw and Brenda3.... what is your protocol this time around for your FETs?? I wonder if it's similar to mine.

Hope everyone is doing well!!

Hi dawn31....glad you could join us. WOW, thats a lot of follicles!!!!!!! I thought I had a lot, I had 24, you must have been SO uncomfortable. I'll be doing my FET in the first week of April, the date is tenatiely st for April 4th...do you have a date?

ann d.....does sound a lot less interesting doing the FET but I'm looking fwd to doing it without swelling up like a big balloon and all the added stress of daily ultrasounds and bloodwork. Your transfer will be here before you know it! About 4 weeks away, right? My protocol is bcp for 10 days, overlap with lupron for the last 5 days of bcp.....then I'm unclear how long I'm on lupron but I do know I get progesterone for a couple of weeks. I won't get my calendar until Af arrives at the end of the month.

Nothing new here.....just waiting. Oh I was using OPK's to see when my surge was cause I was a bit worried my body would not comply with my plan and my next dau 1 would be delayed. I got my LH surge on Feb 14th so my next day 1 should be right on time....plus my DH and I got to try by ourselves (yeah, like thats gonna work :( ) Anyway, I'm a delighted that my body seems to be cooperating. (I wouldn't have been so doubtful if it didn't take my body 7 weeks to get a negative HCG after the MC.)

Hope everyone had a fab valentines day! My LH surge was erfect timing (wink!)

Dawn 31... welcome!! I can't believe you had 40 follies! That's crazy!! I'll pray for you that you get lots of eggs! :D :D :D Can't wait to hear the numbers!

Nicaliw... I was hoping I could try naturally on my own, too, but my RE had me on BCP right after AF arrived at the end of January. You never know... you could be one of those lucky few that get pregnant in between IVF cycles! It happened to a co-worker of mine in between their IVF cycles. Good luck!!

Hi all--

Dawn31: Good luck tomorrow! We're all rooting for you! Can't wait to hear how it all went!

Neffi211: Are you feeling any better? Ugh. It's going around.

Ann d.: I think doing an FET sounds really exciting! It must be surreal knowing you have little babies-to-be waiting for you at the clinic. Also, as Nicaliw pointed out, no daily u/s and b/w will be nice. I can't tell you how black and blue my arms get from the b/w. That's the worst part for me (I'd gladly give myself 100 injections per day if I could avoid the b/w!!). Anyone have any tips for reducing bruising?

Nicaliw: Hopefully, things go your way this month and you get to avoid the FET adventure---what a nice Valentine's gift that would be!

As usual, nothing new to report here. I just wanted to say hi to everyone!

rlk - just to say many thanks for your best wishes for tomorow. Ill surely be letting you know how it went.

ann.d - FET is boring isnt it. But look on the bright side. We dont have to do any of those nasty drugs again :D

nicaliw - (i think you replied to my other post on The Success Rates Of Frozen Blasts) Thanks for that.
I am uncomfortable and unbilievebly bloated. But feel ok . Other than having to drink 2-3 litres of water. Thats a real nightmare. I seem to always be in the loo LOL
Its nice to hear your getting back to normal.
