My DH and myself told no one we were doing treatment, hence it saves anybody sticking there nose in business which has nothing to do with them. I did eventually tell my mum (sick of her nagging me to have tests to see why we had not conceived), and told my DH parents when we told them we were pregnant. But no one else knows and we intend to keep it that way.

Thank you for all of your positive comments. They certainly make me feel much better about my situation. My husband and I are incredibly excited about this pregnancy and we are not going to let this ignorant individual ruin that in any way. We have never second guessed our decision and believe that we did what was right for us. However, it does make me sad to know that some individuals have been talking behind my back and can even make such hurtful statements. If it happens again, then I will be making a formal complaint. I will continue to be excited and share my good news with those who are important, which includes all my students so news travels fast at my school.

I could not believe the coincidence when I read your post!!! My DH and I told his brother that we were having an IVF last year and he told my DH that, basically, he was going to hell and we had to consider adoption as an ONLY option. Then,. when I got pregnant we never called to congratulate us!!! Then, when I was in bed for 1 and a half month for pregnancy complicactions, he didn´t go to see me once. And when I miscarried my twins due to an hungus infection (
) he didn´t appeared until very late that day to see me. And, his wife gets pregnant like nothing (4 kids in 6 years). I really think they don´t even consider tryng to be in our shoes...and they think of themselves as so catholic.
