Not been looking every day but it is so nice to read so many of you. I have cycled with most of you at one time or another which says it all!!

Angie65 - Amelie - cannot believe that she is more than 3 months old already. That is amazing. I remember how we cycled together right at the start. I bet it all seems a life time ago now

Shantala - how could I possibly forget you babe. All those chats about reality TV and me being old enough to be your Mum. No way that I would ever forget you!!! Cannot believe that Elliana is over 6 months. Sure that you'll be having a ball. And those frosties still await you

Carolyn/Wishful - my namesake. I hope that you can get the answers around DE that you are looking for. Let me know if you have questions and I may be able to help

Laura - sweetie. I have thought of you all often too & wondered if any of the 'old' guard were still around. I think of myself as the one that never made it from April/May 2006!!! Your boys are growing up so fast. It is spooky that you took a look and saw how things worked out. Hugs babe

Kel - so many of my 'old' cycle buds. Must have done round 6 when you got your BFP! Your date is so close now. Hope everything goes well for you hun. Keep us posted

Rhall - I shall do as you say and take a look at the donor thread and see how you are getting on. You know where I am if you have questions on DE

Angel505 - of course I remember you sweetie. Thank you for stopping by

So I have been doing the injections in the bottom for my sister. They seem to be going ok & she is very brave and makes little fuss. I could never believe that it could be worse than injecting yourself but it is! Her progesterone is now back above 200 so ARGC are happier & she did not bleed when it dipped. Her HCG was 847 yesterday so thankfully heading in the right direction. She has been staying with us. I took her out today and bought her some jewellery as a little gift and some presents for her kids who are missing her like mad. My Dad is up looking after her children for the next couple of days.

I spoke at a conference today in front of over 100 people and suddenly it seemed a walk in the park - in terms of stress!!! Piece of cake!!

I will keep you all posted. Thank you for your kind words. I have not shown the thread to my sister, my dh or my Mum but will do in time so they can see how much support we have. It is wonderful.

Hoping bloods tomorrow will be fine so my sister might be able to go home to her children for a few days.

Love to you all.

Oh Carolyn!!!!!!

Well done you! I had the worst goosebumps when I read your post and I so wanted to scroll down and read a happy ending but I wouldn't let myself and instead travelled the whole journey with you again and cried a river for all that you've gone through.

We often asked after you and I so wanted to msg you on Facebook, but figured you were absent from here as you needed to get away from it all. There's a horrible sense of guilt when you have succeeded and those that have cycled with you haven't. The relief that I feel and the elation that you will soon have your baby in your arms is enormous.

You were never the one that didn't make it from our group, you just were taking your own, sweet time. Now get your butt over to our reunion thread and post there so everyone knows your success.

May all the angels in heaven watch over your sister's precious cargo until safely delivered to your arms.

Much Love,
Em

Thanks ladies.

Yasmina - good to see that you are crying is fuelled by 'good' hormones. Over 1/2 way there. not long to go now. We are showing that it can happen for the more mature ladies!

Rachel - thank you for cheering me on as always babe especially when you are a busy Mum with little Ruby

JB - thanks for coming here for me. I know that you really need your own space but it is so sweet that you came here and posted for me. Means the world. Hugs sweetie

Em - thanks for your message. I thought that you might post at some stage but see you have been rather busy!!!!! You had your 3rd, the day that we got our 1st BFP so may be good day for both of us. Congratulations on the birth of Addision. Hope that you are all doing well

I feel like I am tip toeing along and whispering. Like I need to be really careful so it all does not go horribly wrong. My sisters is doing really well and her hcg went from 847 on Monday to 1,887 on Wednesday and 4,120 on Friday. They gave her the whole weekend off which is great so she can be with her children and chill out. Bloods again tomorrow. It is so nerve wracking - every time waiting for the numbers. Guess that they might do 1st scan this coming week. Understand clinic normally waits til hcg is over 10,000 to scan so we don't have a date as yet. We are at 5 weeks and 5 days today. Time goes by very slowly. Been doing Xmas shopping on line to pass time......

Thank you all for your continued support. I shall let you know how we get on this week. Please let our little beanie stay.

Lots of love
Carolyn xxxxx

Carolyn,

Your numbers sounds great and I am thrilled for you! I will be anxiously awaiting news of your scan. Once you see that (or those) heartbeat(s) things start to seem real!! I know you are going to get that! This time it has worked and your numbers really seem strong!!

This is going to be a fantastic holiday season for you - so much to be joyful about and so much to celebrate!

Just think that your perseverence has paid off - there aren't a lot of us who have been through so many rounds of IVF but once we get that positive pregnancy it all seems worth it!

Big hugs to you and DH and your sister too!!!

Hi Carolyn - it is all sounding great. And I know it's hard but try not to get too worried about the numbers now - I only had one blood test to confirm the BFP after the 2ww- they wanted over 100 and I was 200 and then nothing else until the 6 week scan when we got to hear the heart beat - that's the next milestone for you and sis.

Wishing you lots of luck and can't wait to hear.
