I would love to join this group- though not sure if I am doing so successfully! I am a message board rookie. I don't have an official due date- but believe it should be sometime mid July. Have our first ultrasound a week from tomorrow-- so excited!

Hi Jersey Gal, welcome! Your numbers sound great. I go for my 3rd b/w on Monday and just pray the numbers keep rising. This is the first time I've ever been pregnant, so I hear the first weeks can be critical. I go for my first ultrasound the week of Thanksgiving, and will feel somewhat more assured once I do. Keep us posted after your next u/s Monday.

Doddo, glad to have you! Wow, you have been through so many cycles. I will be praying for you and wishing the best for your beta test tomorrow. It sounds like your POAS proves that you may very well be getting a BFP! Let us know.

Hi Daizy, it's great to have other new July mommies join. You must be so excited for your first u/s. I haven't had mine yet either, so I can't wait!

Thanks for the welcome--I am really glad to be here! It will be fun enjoying this pregnancy with all of you :)

wonderce-I go for my 2nd u/s today; scheduled for 3:00p. Yes, hopefully he will see and give us some definitive answers. I have been nauseous all week and today's is the worst--I think I could really throw up if I walk into the bathroom. I am sitting at my desk eating crackers and trying to distract my stomach.

Hi to JerseyGal, doddo72, and daizyp! Glad to meet others expecting.

Good luck doddo72 on your beta--keep that PMA.

I'll let all know how the u/s goes this PM. Have a great day everyone!

Hello everyone,

Thanks for the welcome.

Not feeling too hot today. A little sick to my stomach all morning.

I went for acupunture this morning. I am now going once a week. I feel a little better but can't eat anything. It's a rainy chilly fall day in NJ and I feel just like the weather.

How is everyone else doing?

Doddo- I was told that they look for the 1st beta to be between 60 -100 at 14dp3dt-- so 55 at day 11 sounds pretty optimistic to me (especially with all those BFPs!!). Congrats to you!!!

Congratulations doddo :D
I'm sure those numbers will continue to go up!

Our u/s today shows two definite saks; however, the RE could only see one with a heartbeat. He said the one with the heartbeat is looking terrific, good size, good-looking heart. Tried to get sound with it, but we couldn't really hear much and the RE said we are trying to soon to hear anything.

The second one he said is smaller but has grown since last u/s; however, his thinking is that it will not make it. So we were a bit bummed with that; however, we continue to think about the other one who seems to be getting stronger and stronger. It was a relief to see a heartbeat.

I guess anytime you're told you are carrying but that it might not survive you are alittle let down--kinda sad. My husband keeps saying that maybe it's just a bit behind; maybe it implanted later than the other.

Either way, we both know we are truly blessed and totally excited. Next u/s is scheduled 11/25. Already excited and nervous!

JerseyGal: I've read several times and told by several people to keep the crackers close at hand. I have already taken a box of Ritz to my office. Also, my mom said to try to eat several small meals a day. I told her easier said than done. When I feel really sick the last thing I want to do is to try to eat

Oh and I forgot to mention, we got our official EDD: 07/10/09
Well, all for tonight. Hope everyone had a great day.

Hi all!

I had my u/s yesterday & we saw the heartbeat! Dr said all looked good. He put me at 6 weeks 4 days (I thought I was 7 weeks, but I think I implanted late). We had one day 5 embie put back, so were only expecting one baby!

I have had nausea on & off over the last couple of days, but no vomiting.

Hope you are all well

Hey everyone!

ehk: did you experience any bleeding at all during your other IVF cycle?

wantamiraclebaby: wow, amazing betas. I am so happy for you!!!

Missmolly: great news on the heartbeat!! I can't wait to hear one of those!!

ayannelli: congrats on your betas. 2 sacs!!!! That is so awesome!!!!

jersey gal: what good news on your ultrasound and your beta numbers! Congrats after such a longer journey!!!!

doddo72: congrats on being officially preggers!!

Sorry I haven't been around for a bit but we had some drama and the last thing on my mind was the computer... I had been spotting brown blood for days and days and then yesterday I had some red blood. I can tell you right now that I was FREAKING out! Just a little! Ha! RE said if I had enough flow that I would need a pad to do an extra progesterone shot and that's what we ended up doing. This morning, all brown blood again. Ugh. I am nervous about all of this because my betas were low but I think I implanted the day before I tested my 1st beta so that would make sense. I guess I just want to know for sure (which doesn't happen unfortunately) that everything is going to be alright. RE said there wasn't anything they could say to make me feel better about all of this... just that at 5.5 weeks you just have to wait and see. I want to do another beta so I can see higher numbers... maybe next week.

Ayannelli, you must be so relieved that see your first little hearbeat! So sorry your other little one might not make it. Maybe the implantation was a bit later, just like your DH said. It sounds like you're focusing on the positive either way, so that's good. When do you go back for the next u/s? I can't wait until our first u/s! I think it will all seem more real to me then.

Jerseygal, I'm also still doing acupuncture and trying to decide how often to go. She said I should continue through the pregnancy to help with symptoms like nausea and discomfort, but I may cut back to once a month after our first u/s. It's one more cost to add to the stack of bills we've acquired the past 3 years. Hope you're feeling better.

Missmolly, how exciting you had your first u/s. It must be such an awesome feeling to see him or her for that first time. This is going to be an amazing journey we will all experience.

Bonnie, sorry to hear about your drama. That must have been scary. Will you go for another beta to get some reassurance? I haven't told anyone except my parents and DH's parents because I'm so nervous that something could happen. Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely excited and want to tell the world, but just didn't want to spread the news quite yet. I'm sure everything is just fine with you! Let us know when you have an update.

Gotta run to the grocery store. Hope you all are having a good weekend!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend :)

Bonnie-I totally understand your scare. I have had two incidents of red spotting and we still have a heartbeat! Keep your PMA and hopefully all will be just fine. My RE's office said that sometimes the small release of red spotting may be a broken capillary due to the increased circulation we have going on down that way. I can say that my RE stopped my baby aspirin after my second bleed.

wonderce-My husband is convinced it is either late implant or just not able to see it the other day. He came home from work on Friday telling me that one of his co-workers could not see a heartbeat until almost 12 weeks because of the position of the baby. I remain upbeat on the one that we did see--all of it is a miracle :D

My next u/s is scheduled for 11/25.

Hi to everyone else--hope all weekends are going great! It was almost 70 degrees here today but is dropping tonight and will only get 50 tomorrow with a bunch of wind. Not too much outdoors time for us right now.

Hi everyone,

Just checking in to see how you are all doing?
I had my second ultrasound this morning and so far things are going very very good!!!! I am 6 weeks 2 days and my RE was able to get a heartbeat today.
I will be my bloodwork results back late this afternoon.

Wonderce - - I go for Acupunture once a week now. I am going to continue through the whole time. The fee is covered by my insurance, I just pay the $15.00 co-pay.

hi!

I am doing okay. I just called my RE to request another blood draw. I have been spotting everyday, all day since my BFP. I just need to see some higher beta numbers or know that I'm not pregnant anymore. Does that make sense? I can't control what is happening in my body and I just want to know one way or the other so I can either attach my heart to the bubs inside and be excited or just get on with things if I am not pregnant anymore.

JerseyGal: what great news to hear about your little heartbeat!!! What wonderful news! I am so happy for you and can't wait to hear more good news as you progress!!!
