Hey guys, I am a little nervous to join in case something goes wrong! I am 8.3 weeks today and my due date is August 18th! Wanted to say "hi" to my fellow August Mommies!

Hello to everyone.
Thought I'd update here. My first ob appt went well. Got to see the baby & hear the heartbeat. I am still measuring where I should be & the baby's heartbeat was strong. They didn't do much at the appt but I will be going every 4 weeks until I'm farther along. They don't do vbacs where I live now so I will have to have a scheduled csection. My first was an emergency csection, 2nd was a vaginal so I assumed 3rd could be too but no go. They won't even chance it. I'm disappointed about that but I suppose it's most important for a safe & healthy delivery & baby.

Hope everyone else is doing well & enjoying the first trimester.

Hi All,

I have been waiting for this thread for a while and am excited to see it and join it!! I'm 11 weeks 2 days as of today and I go to my first OB/GYN appt tomorrow morning. This is my first pregnancy and I couldn't be happier that our 2nd IVF worked, even though I am not feeling too pregnant!! I have no morning sickness, just some nausa at night before I go to bed, but ginger ale seems to help that. My pants and tops are getting tighter, but I think i just look fat and not pregnant.

I have one little bean and I have seen him/her on a weekly U/S since I got my positive beta. It's crazy how this tiny little spec, turns into a beautiful baby. Oh and I my due date is August 4, for us in the USA, Obama's birthday!! Too funny!!

I am looking forward to going though this with you wonderful ladies!!

Hey Ladies,

I have a Question for all you out there. I am 8wks 4dys today. I had my u/s at 8wks 1dy and baby A measures 8wks even HB of 160, Baby B measures 7wks 3 dys HB of 156. I had blasts transfered. Last night I had some red blood and mucus when I wiped (3 times) but nothing in my panties with mild cramping. It has stopped but has me very worried that I am losing BABy B.

My last pregnancy I also had twins and lost one at 7wks3 dys but my DD was born 11/06. Is this a REPEAT???? Why is the growth so far behind? Any help I would love some thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brenda Sorry to hear you are going through this... worrying is what we all do over these pregnancies and we are here for you.

I'm not sure about the difference in size of your twins-what did the RE say at the time? I ask because i have seen definate size differences in babies on the boards without any real concerns, so i would rely on your RE for this advice.... As for the bleeding i would call your RE and check. I have had a lot of bleeding on and off and i do call in when it gets 'worse' or i start to panic over it and i'm always told to rest up, drink plenty of fluids and not worry. The blood i pass is always brown, BUT on my IVF board (OCT/NOV/DEC board) there have been a COUPLE of girls who have bled red blood and it has been 100% fine. I know it can be caued by MANY things including the uterus stretching.

I would put a call in to the RE and in the meantime rest up.... I hope they will put your mind at rest and let us know how you are doing

Kas - how did you get your ticker to work? I created one the other day but can't get it to work in my signature. I created it from Lilypie as well, and copied the HTML over...any thoughts?

Bichonmom It is so funny you asked me for ticker advice as i am the most technically backward person ever!!! It took so many goes to get it right and i looked through threads where other people explained it and i still couldnt do it!!! Now finally i got it to work, so i am so happy i can help you!!!!!

Ok, go to lilypie.com and create your ticker. When its done they give you 4 different ways or formats you can post your ticker. You need to choose the third one down and copy the text in between [img] and [img] including both the [img] bits then paste it into your signature.

Its certainly not obvious, but have a go and let me know if you are still having trouble.....

Hello ladies, its with much hesitation that I join you. I am from the OCT/NOV/DEC IVF board but my IVF failed. I did an IUI thereafter and it worked! I was prego due in March and miscarried so it was harsh. I just couldn't keep up with the board, it was a "should have been, could have been" and too painful to keep up.

Anyway, I was prego with triplets and miscarried Baby C already so I am a nervous wreck. My due date according to a 40 week calendar is September 11th, according to their measurements its September 4th and 5th and according to twins its August 21st. I am not banking on any date right now, I just say late summer. Hopefully, if all goes right I can stay with you ladies.

Hey Babyhope good to see you here. There are a few familiar names from previous cycle boards on here now, which is good.... I am here as my official due date is 29th Aug but my RE says with triplets it will be more like early July, but all the ladies on the July board are so far ahead of me - they are all in their 2nd tri and are having cvs/nuchal tests, and will soon be finding out the sex of their little bean(s) so i think i will stay here so we can all go thru the same things at the same time......

When is your next scan? I am having mine on Friday and i am excited to see if we still have 3 or not. Nearly everyone i have seen that started out with 3 has reduced to 2 over the first 10 weeks or so, althought my DH is convinced there is still 3 as i am getting a proper belly already and i have constant m/s symptoms and dizziness.....

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. I don't go into the OB for another 2 weeks (transnuc. scan).

What are any of your thoughts on the CVS test? I am 39 years old and unsure if I want to take the risk of miscarriage that is assoc. with the test or just wait and see what GOD has in store.

Also what about amino? I choose not to do one with my last pregnancy but worried about it the whole time. (I was almost 37 when I delivered).

I just worry so much about the risk assoc. with the test more so than the test. Need some input.

Hi Ladies, Glad to see this thread is growing. Wishing the multiple moms best of luck for all babies. At my RE appt last week, they told me to stop Estradiol/Vivelle, and switch to every other day on the Progesterone shots. I'm really hoping this med change doesn't affect my baby negatively. I'm officially released to my OB. but don't have my first appt until Feb 3. I'm sure she'll be sorry she has me, I'll want to have an office visit every week! My boss knows that I was planning to take a year away from work (I'm a contractor) since I'm also moving to Washington this summer for my husband's new job. She's already looking for a replacement for me. I hope my pregnancy continues to be healthy. I would hate to have a tragedy there and also be out of a job. But so far I'm feeling great, just a bit nauseous, and the spotting stopped. Heartbeat is strong at 171bpm. Have a great week

Beladi32 - I understand the job thing, I told my boss at 6 weeks and he said I know its early but what do you think you want to do...quit, work from home, blah blah blah. I was so overwhelmed I said, I am not holding a baby in my arms yet, only to miscarry. Not saying that will happen to you but what if I started training my replacement! Goodness, all things with time and Fertility patience know time of all things! Best of luck with your move and everything you have going on.

As for me. I have miscarried three babies so the amnio isn't worth the risk to me. Just like when I was prego with three babies, just the knowing wouldn't change anything. I am 31 years old so I feel it should be alright.

Anyone hear about the 23 year old that delivered octuplets in Southern Califorina Monday? Come on, I believe she did IUI + gonanatropins, they would never put 8 embryos back in a 23 year old. Amazing!

When to OB visit today and lost one of my twins. They said that it happened about 3 days ago. But the other is doing really well is measuring 1 day ahead and Heart beat is 170. So that makes me feel much better (that the other one is doing fine). I was able to see it moving around.

I go in next Thursday for my NT scan.
