hrobinson- I think the guy deanna picked was named jesse? I know the last 3 all started with J's and the 3rd one, I think was jeremy, I really didn;t like him.

I also like the older couples on biggest loser, and any show for that matter, like the amazing race, I always have a soft spot for the elders, I think it is awesome for them to go out on a limb like that.

The answer is Yes, i also watch momma's boys. The answer to "do you watch _______(insert any reality show)?" is always yes, I am such a reality tv junkie, of course I like some shows more than others. I figured momma's boys would be an interesting one to fill time until things like the bachelor and biggest loser started. I am just appalled by jojo's mom. People like that disgust me. My mom is not quite as bad, but does not agree with interracial dating, and i just hope my daughter never has to experience people like that. So anyway, I don;t know how the show will end, but I think Michael will end up with Michele (name? the one who dressed up in the santa lingerie), i hope that robbie ends up with the black girl who is really making an effort with him, and I don;t think jojo will work out with any of them. He will be single for the rest of his life until he stands up to mom or she is not around anymore. Can you believe she ripped up that last ticket to the islands? She is an evil woman! What do you think?

Sorry to rant about other shows, when i started this about Bachelor, but we need something to chit chat about in between the episodes. We can call this the reality TV thread, with a focus on the bachelor. I can't believe it's already monday again, jeez, time flies! Talk to you all soon!

Hi everyone!
I saw an interview with Jason on ET and he said that he asked to bring Deanna back - I think ABC edited it so that it looks like she was having second thoughts but when I thought about it more - she could just be giving him advice like - you haven't proposed yet, you could still change you mind - about a particular girl at the house. Either way, it's definitely a ratings ploy I think! I"m such a cynic, even though I'd DEFINITELY watch when she's on!!

I am pregnant - 12 weeks. I joined the July 2009 due date thread. I've been really sick the entire time (and had ovarian hyperstimulation before/after transfer so that didn't help matters) and watching TV has seemed to help keep my mind off of running to get sick!

Tiger- Congratulations on your pregnancy. I am so sorry that you have been so sick. However, to get where you are I am sure you welcome the sickness

I am so anxious to watch Bachelor tonight. I honestly think he kept some weird people. However, when I look back to last year with Deanna, I would never have thought she would keep Jesse, and look what happened. I agree, that I think Deanna is coming back just to offer advice, nothing more. I was thinking that they had to agree to not have contact after they broke it off with the "other" person. (If that makes sense). Not sure where I heard that from.
Anyhow, I too am a reality show junkie. It drives my husband insane.

I agree with both of you, about the deanna thing. I definitely think the producers are making it look like much more than it is, and they probably let the other contestants believe it was more too. The previews made it look like she was going to stay and compete, but I really don't think that will happen.

Suzanne- congrats on your pregnancy, and I hope you feel better soon! It will all be worth it come july when you get to hold that little bundle. Are you going to find out if its a boy or girl?

hrobinson- I drive my husband nuts too. there are some shows he will give in and watch but others he hates, like the bachelor. e says he hates it but a lot of times while I am watching, i catch him watching or he makes comments. He was joking about wanting to work on monday nights because the bachelor is on! lol...I play video games with him a lot of nights, so I think he can give me one night!

So hrobinson- what is your opinion on the mommas boy show? I think there are only 2 episodes left.

Pretty good show last night, if I must say so myself. However, I just hate when they start kissing on EVERYONE!!!!!
I loved the little drama between Erica and oh....what's her name? I think what's her name is a little evil child just looking for trouble.
Could not believe that Jason kept Shannon. She is so psycho!!!!! I wonder if he is just keeping her to keep her. My husband said that he must have been told he HAD to keep her to keep some excitement going.
I love Stephaie and was so excited by the previews for next week. How amazing to bring her daughter to the show to hang out with Jason and her.
Anyhow....just babbling before starting my day with my students.

Now, I did NOT watch Mama's Boys last night. Just way too tired. However, it is recorded and I will definately watch it within the next few days. (Ya know Biggest Loser is on tonight so.....)
I really enjoy the show. However, I think I say that for every reality TV show. I would die if Mrs. B were my mother. And you guys were right in saying he will end up single and sad.

Alright, gotta run teach. Can't wait to hear what the rest of you thought of Bachelor!!!

Hi ladies!
I feel like a big traitor - I missed the Bachelor last night! I watched about the first hour and then fell asleep. BUT - I was so surprised that he kissed so many people! I don't know, I think i made a poor assumption that since he had a young child and was more mature, he would hold it together. But it makes for good TV. I have it recorded so I"m going to watch it tonight while I take the xmas tree down (can you believe it's January 13th and I still haven't taken it down?! How lazy am I! I've decided I'll blame being pregnant, I figure I have to be able to use that after all we've gone through to get here!).

Is Shannon the girl that was the super stalker? I fell asleep right after Jason was quizzing her on his background - how crazy is that? I think I'd be uncomfortable if someone knew that much about me before we'd even met. But with google nowadays, it seems like you can find out TONS about someone.

And I definitely have to watch mama's boys- from what you ladies have described, it sounds great.

Ok, the bachelor- I can't believe he was kissing so many people either. I expected more out of him, but maybe he figures that is the quickest way to see if there is really chemistry or not. I am suprised he kept stalker girl too, and I also love stephanie, the one with the daughter and the previews for next week look awesome. Stephanie seems like such a nice person and i feel so bad for her, and as much as I like her, I just don;t think her and jason "look" like a good couple, something just weird about it, maybe because she is older than him, but I hope I am wrong.

Erica from CT I still don;t like. She was being totally 2 faced- like so many ct girls around here- and she got caught in it. Even though I don;t like the one she was arguing with either (megan, i think?). They both need to go.

I think I like jillian- the hot dog girl, i didn;t really notice her much last week, but she seems like a nice girl too and they would make a good couple. It looks like it is gearing up to be an exciting season.

Ok- mommas boys- i hate Mrs. B, i can't believe there are really people like her on this earth. I will not give away too much since you guys still need to watch, you can comment after you watch it, but it looks like next week on the finale, the boys will have to decide between taking a plane home with mom and the girl of her choice, or the girl of his choice. I also can not wait until erica- the penthouse pet- confesses....that mom is going to be soooooo mad! I feel bad for that mom.

So let me know what you think after you watch it, and i will write more then.

I believe on the Bachelor, I don't like Shannon and Lauren because of how they reacted to the one gal that left due to a sick family member. They were like, "one less girl to compete with." I think only one had a point of view of ..."Whatever is right for Jason" which is the attitude to take, anyway, I know I am getting older because I can see the maturity level of these girls, few are women...

I totally love the one with the daughter who has her visit as a surprise on her birthday, I can't remember her name, I think she is the best quality person, sharing all her accessories with her competition, however, I don't think their is a physical attraction or chemistry perfection there. Stephanie is her name.

Anyway, have to run, thanks for the chat ladies!

It's always amazing to me that after one or two days, the women on the Bachelor are so convinced that he's the perfect person for them and they're going to get married. I think the show kind of makes it impossible not to feel that way though - you have no other outlet and I would bet that all there is to do is think about Jason or get ready for dates. And because it's that way, it's so cutthroat!
I wasn't a big fan of the mom at first - she seemed a great deal older and was always so careful with her words and seemed really proper. But the more I watch- I think she's great. She seems to know what she wants and has a huge maturity compared to the other girls. She seems more ready to be a step mom and move on than the girls in their young 20s.

Did anyone watch the Biggest Loser on Tuesday?! I couldn't believe it! Joelle drives me nuts. I can't imagine getting on that show and having the chance of a lifetime and basically just blowing it because you're lazy or tired.

I agree Tiger...How can they be in love in 2 days? It is nuts that some of the first ones off are in tears because jason is so great! That is kinda why the momma's boy show was a little intriguing, because there were a whole lot of girls but there were 3 guys, so girls developed feelings for just one of the guys instead of all being forced to like the same guy. One girl on the show was asked to go to the carribean with one guy and she said no, but went with another.

I have the biggest loser recorded. I will probably watch it today or tomorrow and post then. We have been too caught up with idols the past few nights, so i just haven;t had time to watch it yet!

Ok, so I finally watched the biggest loser...

I can't believe how mad bob got! He seems like such a nice and sweet guy, and for him to be that mad, I bet even more went on off camera that we didn;t see. Joelle definitely should have gone home. It was unfair that it came down to those to guys. Especially since it was because of a penalty. That penalty was not fair, of course he was going to come in last, he's over 400 pounds and has never exercised in his life!

I was of course so thrilled to see the update story. Usually the first ones off don;t lose anything impressive, but I am so glad that they did. They have added so many years to their life, and that is what it is all about...

Ok, will check back soon and monday bachelor is right around the corner.

Okay, I am such a loser, but when I watched biggest loser, I was in tears. I hate to see people go who first of all NEED to be there, and second of all WANT to be there. Joelle may need to be there, but she does not have the desire to be there. However, as Jillian pointed out, Jerry just didnt' have teh stamina of those younger people. He was never going to make it. My DH said he realle needed to just get a personal trainer that could easily deal with older people to get him going. (I may have already posted that....I just can't remember)

Okay, so I watched Mamma's Boys. Well, actually I did that tuesday, just been too busy to post. My personal opinion....all the boys will be going home by themselves. JoJo is too much of a pansy to stand up to his mother.
I think Erica's boy (can't remember if it's Michael or what) will also go home alone. I am going to gues that he will send the other one home before Erica tells him. I don't think it was fair of her to wait this long to divulge what she does.

Can't wait to tak about teh finale on Tuesday morning.

You ladies will get a kick out of this, I had a dream Tuesday night that I was on a treadmill (I was extremely active before pregnancy) and I love to workout, made me feel really good. Anyway, Bob was yelling at me to run, and I said, "I can't" and he kept yelling and I kept saying I can't, then he said yes you can...this went on.

I finally confessed that I couldn't becuase I was pregnant with triplets and I had enlarged ovaries. Then he was like, oh, in that case step off the treadmill, you can't be on the show. Anyway, I didn't know how I was going to lose weight week after week at the weigh in with my hidden pregnancy. This goes back to not wanting to tell anyone for 12 weeks due to my past miscarriage. Its been hard for me to hide it with my lifestyle, I am active and often went out for happyhour.

I find it hard to continue my lift with my active friends, they dont' understand why I will not scrimmage with them (I played soccer) or go out on a hike or meet them for the kickboxing classes or drinks after work. Amazing how much you life changes! I know its for a good cause and it is so worth it to me.

Babyhopes- OMG, are you pg with triplets? Or was that part of your dream? How far along are you? Congrats on a bfp regardless of how many are in there. Your dream is funny, I sometimes have reality tv dreams too. I can totally understand not wanting to tell people until later, but I bet it is hard especially if you use to be very active. Just tell them you injured your leg or something. It is amazing how much life changes, and it will just keep happening from here on out. Life use to be about just me and dh, but now it is all about DD.

HRobinson- if erica dose not divulge her secret until the other one is gone, I will be pissed, it is not fair. Even thought I understand the mom not liking the other one (the skinny blond) she deserves a fair shot. I guess it just goes to show you can;t judge a book by its cover...mom thinks erica is this sweet wholesome girl b/c of the way she looks...and little does she know...Erica once said if you googled her name, lots of "stuff" would come up, so I did one day, and I could not believe the "stuff" I saw, I didn;t expect it to be so revealing and graphic geez.

I am excited for tonight girls! I have seen lots of previews and it looks like some major drama on bachelor. I am also very curious to see the outcome of momma's boys. I can't wait to chit chat tomorrow.

Bachelor tonight, and Mama's boys. I can't wait to see them. Will only watch one of them tonight. Not sure which one.
