Thanks, heather! Yes the are doing another beta to appease me. Please cross your fingers that everything comes back ok. I know I am probably overthinking this and they told me my 2nd beta was "good" but I just hope this one comes back ok so I can stop worrying until my u/s on Monday!

It never stops does it!

LOL. I know. I think we will feel much better after we actually SEE the baby(ies) in there.

Hi ladies--i can join!! i am very similar to mb1981. EDD is jan. 14th, 1st beta (and only beta) was 14 days after egg retrieval and it was 300. we implanted 2 ebryos so the IVF nurse is thinking maybe both stuck. but...they don't do anymore betas, just an u/s on may 2st.

mom2luke- congratulations!! so exciting! i agree, sounds like a twin beta to me

so exciting we have the same due date! i think i have a singleton but would be happy with any number of babies!

mom2luke - Welcome and congrats!! That's a great number. I am hoping for two (we had three inserted using assisted hatching) but will be perfectly content with just one little bean

...I find out on the 21st. Seems like forever away...

What a relief! My third beta at 19dpo came in at 970, so I doubled in 48 hours! I am soooo happy! Cannot believe I am REALLY pregnant! I was so nervous yesterday but everything looks perfect now. U/S is this coming Monday, so we will find out if it's one or two babies! Will be happy with either one

Crossing fingers for a good result on Monday!

mb1981 - I just knew it would be great. I am so happy for you. You are right, it does take a lot to register the fact that we are finally pregnant, espeically through all that we have to do to get there. Congrats of your number. I am sure you are very relieved. This is gonna be a long weekend for both of us. I cannot wait until next week. Sure will be nice to know if we're gonna need one or two cribs. Hehe.

Heather- thanks so much for the kind words. I am so happy- I just feel really confident now and I needed that boost to keep me sane before my ultrasound! cannot believe I am going in on Monday...I hope the baby (babies) is big enough for them to see the yolk sac!

Yeah that is pretty early but I am thinking with the microscopic views they can get on those machines you will probably be able to see something. I can't wait. I'm gonna live vicariously through you until Thursday. LOL. Then we can compare what we saw and see the differences between the weeks.

Hi Heather and everyone? Just checking in to see how you ladies are doing today. I am sooo anxious about my 5.5w u/s on Monday!

I have read that I should expect to see the gestational sac and yolk. Really hoping that I get to see that

Last night my boobs didn't hurt as much as they have for the past few days so of course I started thinking the worst (silly, I think but you know how it is!) Anyone else have symptoms that come and go? They still hurt but just not as painful as they were the other day.

Hey Morgan...I sooo know what you mean. If I'm not having full blown symptoms I freak out a little in my brain. But by the next day they are back and I am fine again. Some days my boobs are worse than others (really bad today even when I just walk around the office and I let out a howl of some sort apparently last night when I rolled over and freaked hubby out...he asked what's wrong in a panic and I said my boobs hurt)...hahaha! Oppsy..I'm crazy enough, didn't mean to spook him...LOL.

We have family coming this weekend then next week I work 3 days then I have my going away party next friday then I am D.U.N. Back to my eBay and chillin at home. Whew...what a relief that will be....Sleep here I come...

Hi, I am hoping I can join you all! I am new to this, so I hope I am doing it right. I am newly pregnant (due around 1/9/10 I believe) and looking for some insight and thoughts you may have regarding my betas. They are way high and I am kind of freaking out. We wouldn't mind twins, but the possibility of triplets is a little scary. Because of my age and our finances, we decided to transfer three this time since last time we transferred the best two, and got a chemical. I am not scheduled for an ultrasound until Friday 5/22 and am going absolutely crazy! Can you please check out my betas and tell me what you think, I would truly appreciate it!

Congrats on your pregnancy- so exciting!!

Hmm, I definitely think you've got more than one. Betas are sooo different for different people. One of the girls in one of my other boards had a super high first beta and we though for sure she would have multiples, but just one sac. With your doubling rates, I would guess you have 2 but so hard to tell! Good luck! Whatever you have, it will work out.

Welcome Lisa and Good Morning Morgan...

Yeah, sounds to me like multiples BUT like Morgan said, it could just be one and you have a high number. Some people even have very low numbers and end up with twins. It's so hard to tell and it's so hard not to try to analyse the numbers. At least we only have a few more days to go before we know for sure. This is a torturous wait. LOL.

I am so excited for Monday to hear about what you get to see Morgan and Lisa, I am right with you, I will have mine Thursday and you'll be Friday. WHAT A FUN WEEK!!!

Thanks ladies! :o) You are right, it is hard trying not to over analyze the numbers, it can make you nuts. I have been reading so many different forums, but never joined any. I finally felt that I needed to have women to talk to that know Exactly what I am going through, so this is great!

I can't wait until next week, it will definitely be an exciting week for everyone :o) Have a great day.
