Hello again, yes I am still around. Actually my baby is not born yet he is due to be born via c-section on Nov 24th. Can't wait to see what he will look like. Apparently he is a big baby :) How is your little guy doing? Must be so cute. I am glad you finally have a little baby to hold after all your desapointments.

Actually he is doing so good I don't mind him still in there as long as he needs. This has been a really good pregnancy.

thanks

hi, just had my transfer yesterday from ED with my husband's sperm. 7 follicles, 6 fertilized 2 transferred and 4 are frozen.we have decided to transfer 2 5day embryos or blastocyst to make sure that 1 may result in pregnancy. we were just traumatized with our 1st failed ivf that we decided to transfer 2. beta will be on thanksgiving day nov 25. ive been bed rest for 2 days but i feel tired just lying down or resting.. hopefully everything is going to be ok...baby dust to all....

Wow that is a great news. You even have frozen frosties that is fantastic... With a donor egg I am sure it's going to work.
Way to go. Baby dust losts of baby dusts.

yup lycase...the RE called me last nite and she said she was excited and happy for us, which actually was so different reaction from my last ivf when i used my own eggs and failed. i also asked her how much % success rate and she said high like 70-80%. my beta is next week ,thurs thanksigiving day... so funny though cause i ate in a mongolian restuarant last month oct 25 and my fortune cookie states that i will be fulfilling my goal in 2 months. my beta is november 25, and christmas day is dec 25 exatly 2 months so hopefully everything is going to positive!!! my donor actually is good. this is her 2nd cycle and i opted for a shared donor to be less expensive. she triggered 24 follicles, half for each of us recipient, 12 retrieved for each and 7 fertilized, transferred 2 and froze 4.....so i dont know, i dont wanna have my hopes up so high, but i do want to stay positive.....so what do u think?...:)

I'm 45. DH is 42. Had my first cycle and retrieved 6 follies. 3 fertilized but only 1 made it to day 3. Just discovered the 2nd cycle is a failure also. My hormone levels bottomed out today. Just 2 days ago everything was looking good. I'm just.....sad.

This was my last try using my eggs. Already have all the paperwork done to start with a donor. Just struggling tonight because I really hoped to bring a little piece of me and him into this world. And that makes me feel so selfish. I have noone to talk to. Because noone really understands the pain in my heart.

I am so sorry ladies you girls have to go through that. When I realised my eggs were no more good I was 42 and didn't even attent at using them. Even our donor egg cycle didn't work but it was not the donor's fault it was the clinic so I know for your girls it's going to work cause another lady about your ages was trying to use her eggs too 4 times and all failled and she finally went with a donor egg and she is 15 weeks pregnant now and you know she doesn't even feel the difference on being hers or not. She is giving this baby life and it's so amazing.

My baby due next week is not even my dh's cause we didn't really have $$$ for another cycle if it failled so this little embryo baby is just going to be such a surprise. It's going to be so exiting though.

You will feel the same way once you get pg and it works. You will be so overwelmed and happy you will forget he is not your eggs. Hang in there girls and go for it... It's going to be so amazing.

Good luck and keep us posted.

My c-section is on Nov 24 so not sure if I will be online but will definitly check right when I can. Baby dust to both of you.

i know, for me it really wouldnt matter, baby 's still going to be my husband's , though not my eggs but i will be carrying it through term. my donor's good she's young about 22 years old that is why she had so many follicles retrieved and she even shared it with 2 of us recipients... im just excited i hope every thing will turn out to be ok...
