monitoring again today - 4 big follicles (13, 11, 10 & 9) and a good lining. Estrogen levels are low enough.

Last time around (last year), I trigger on CD14 and had the retriveal on CD16... which is what I was hoping I would be told this afternoon... but alas. I keep taking my 2 amps of Menopur, 1 am of Ganirelix and they are upping my Follistim from 100 to 175. I go back on Sunday for u/s and bloodwork again...

This morning, she couldn't get blood from either elbow and took out of my hand. Now I have bruises in both elbows and an aching hematoma on my left hand! grr... DH is right, I bruise like a peach.

Stress is really starting to sink in. I feeling like I'm jumping out of my skin and eating myself up inside.

Congratulations on the 19 eggs! Did your RE change your protocol from your previous cycle?

Leorira11 I am sorry for all the bruises, I know it isn't easy to help with the stress, but try to relax and take it easy everything will be just fine.

Summit thank you for the support, I just found out that out of the 19 eggs 13 have fertilized we are going to transfer 2 blast that will be 5 days transfer.

Angela how are you doing and how about the baby girl, this time I was on 4 bravelles and 1 menopur the whole 11 days of stimulation. Last year, I was on 1 bravelle and 1 menopur for 5 days, then 2 bravelles and 1 menopur for 3 days and finally 3 bravelles and 1 menopur for the last 3 days of the stim, I had only 7 eggs.
My MD is really please this time, so as of today I have 13 embryos I am :D :D :D :D :D :D , I thank god for all of this and thank you for all your support. The transfer is schedule for Monday 5 days blast, take easy.

grrrrr.... why is this taking so long?
My last fresh cycle - I was already triggered and waiting for my retreival... now I'm still stimming. They were worried that I got too close to over-stimulation - so we are taking it much slower this time... but I'm getting annoyed and more stressed. How many more morning will have to start with an out-of-the-way clinic visit with a painful blood draw and uncomfortable ultrasound? grr...

It didn't help this morning that the u/s tech was late. I got to the clinic at 7 am, so I would be first on line when they opened at 7:30 and would hopefully get to work by 8am... no such luck. I was 2nd in line, but the u/s tech didn't show up until 8am! I understand that people are late to work sometimes, it's just annoying that when she is late, I'm late too, even though I was on time all morning! Also, the one woman in line in front of me had a 25 minute ultrasound! geez! Mine weren't that long when they were measuring my twins! I hop in and out of the u/s at the IVF clinic, I know there are other people waiting...

grrrr.... long morning. My trip the pharmacy wasn't any better. Shouldn't people have a minimum IQ to live? stupid stupid people...

thanks for listening to my vent. Congrats to all of you with good retreivals....

Leorira - Hahaha, I had to reply to your "shouldn't people have a minimum IQ to live" - LOL YES!! I agree!! Like when I had a blood test drawn for my beta at my local hospital instead of at the fertility clinic and after I told the girl it was for an IVF cycle she asked me if it was a planned pregnancy! Uh, yeah...

On the cycle taking too long, sounds like I had the same thing where the first time I was on the brink of over-stimulation so the second time they took things a lot slower which was a totally different pace to what I was used to. No matter what going in for all that testing is an exercise in frustration. They were so worried that first time that they had me go in every single day for a week for blood tests and ultrasounds, and at the time we were living 2 hours from the clinic. So that was a fun week... With the slower stimulation the next time around I didn't get nearly as bloated and ill feeling (I was pretty sick after the first cycle) - and it worked!

Anyway sorry you had a rough morning, I know how that goes. Those days when you want to start drinking at lunch time... :)

Retrieval today = 16 eggs. Less than last time, but hopefully the quality is better this time around.

Leoria - Stay positive. When I get annoyed with the process or people in general I think about holding happiness in my heart. Everybody has their own trials and tribulations that they are dealing with. Just like many people don't understand what we may be going through they may be dealing with their own struggles. Keep clear eyes and an open heart. We don't know what the future holds... so find moments in your day to to enjoy life beyond fertility treatment. It is easy to let it consume your every thought. Hopefully, you will be begging for sleep this time next year and you will daydream about about the days you could take a breather :D

thanks for all of your kind words. I'm feeling a bit better today. Getting optimistic about my retreival. Hopefully, the call from the clinic later will tell me to trigger TODAY (or tomorrow...).

I'm hoping for a retreival by Thursday - otherwise I have to wait until after the weekend (I live in Israel, weekends here are Friday and Saturday - Sunday is a regular work day). The hospital doesn't do outpatient procedures on Fri or Sat... I'd have to coast a few days if I'm not ready by Thursday.

I'll probably have to go for monitoring again tomorrow (Tuesday). Hopefully I can trigger Tuesday night for a Thursday morning retreival....

How are all you post-retreival ladies doing? Eggs fertilized nicely?

Leoria - I am glad to hear you feeling optimistic! I will pray that you are able to have your retrieval done before the end of the week.

Jamila - Thanks for the encouragement! Got a call from the nurse today with the embryology report... 12 eggs were mature 11 are currently developing normally. We will find out tomorrow if the doctor is recommending a day 3 or 5 transfer. We are planning to transfer 2 embryos this time around. How did your transfer go? How are you feeling?
