Hello everyone, & welcome newbie

Funny i dont feel very pregnant today!!! Does anyone else get days like that?? Feel like i need to go an buy another test just to double check!!! silly i know but my mind seems to be in overdrive!!!

I am moody today, so i suppose that is a sign, feel like i am going to snap at anyone that talks to me watch out!!! Feeling tired, go to bed most nights around 9.30pm, wake up at least twice in the night for a wee stop, i suppose it's getting me in practice for when the bean arrives!!??

Well, I unexpectedly got my first ultrasound today! My RE had emergency surgery tomorrow during my appt time so they asked if I could come in early, which I couldn't, and then they asked if I could come in THURSDAY instead!! I was really upset and I asked if they could get me in today instead, and after a bit of hold, they came back and said yes!!

So we have one healthy baby with a hb of 117bpm. I'm so happy and relieved!

As far as feeling pregnant, I have days like that too and although I know it's "normal" it still unnerves me a bit. I feel better when I can "feel" something. My first symptom and still my strongest and most regular, is this HORRIBLE mood. EVERYTHING aggravates me and I'm very short tempered. I'm also still very, very tired. I can't wait for that part to let up!!

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the site. It's nice to "meet" so many gals going through the same thing we are.

We're (finally) pregnant with our first child and due around June 27, 2011. My betas were pretty low, too, compared to lots of you gals. My first beta (11dpt) was only 60, but shot up to 168 two days later.

I'm sooooooo tired all the time. I take 2 naps a day, and I'm still exhausted. Thankfully I work from home, so I can rest as needed. Boobies are a little tender, but not super sore. No morning sickness, but rather just phases of light nausea. Sense of smell is definitely heightened. I smell things that aren't there... has this happened to you?!

I am experiencing some spotting which I'm concerned about. I already had my first ultrasound, and everything looks normal. We were able to see the little sac. In two days (Thursday), we go in for our second ultrasound to see the heartbeat. We're praying everything is OK.

Mommyhope - welcome! Yes, I definitely smell things that aren't there. The other day I couldn't get rid of the smell of cat poo. Nobody else could smell it. It was all in my head.

Yes, the days without any signs of pregnancy are quite disturbing. I have lots of them and only a few days of light nausea.

AFM - I'm waiting to her back from my OBS re my next ultrasound. I've been released from the fertility clinic so I feel a bit like I'm in limbo land. Can't wait for another u/s just to check everything is okay.

Congrats to all the new additions on here, I haven't been on in awhile. I'm so tired at night I don't get on the computer very long. I work at a pre-school and chase toddlers around all day, they wear me out! I'm usually in bed at 9 at the latest & I don't have to get up until 7:30. I'm still nauseous pretty much ALL DAY. It's horrible. I haven't gotten sick much (except this past Wednesday when I caught the stomach virus that was going around at school, yuck!) but I always feel like I'm going to be sick.

I'm just waiting for Thursday for our next ultrasound. As long as everything looks ok I will be released to my regular Dr. It feels weird to think I won't be seeing the Dr. anymore because he's great, but I will have much shorter drive now which is a plus. Good luck to all!

Hi June to be moms,

Just wondering how everyone is feeling. Had my 8 week u/s this past Thursday and thank god everything looks good and there's a strong heartbeat. RE kept asking if i could see the spine---I was like are you kidding? it looks like a shmeer or a blob on the screen, that's all. But I like that blob anyway
Exhaustion and nausea have not let up and really getting anxious to tell people...but mostly still basking in the reality that I'm pregnant!

Wow, JLY and deidraj, you both had your scans on the same day last week! How exciting that everything was well JLY! My 8wk scan is this Tues, and then I'll be released to a regular OB. That will feel strange to me too, after all the dedicated attention from my RE's office.

I'm still not really nauseous, but I am having trouble eating. If I think about eating, anything at all, it makes me gag. So I guess I have some kind of m/s, just not persistent nausea. I'm also getting anxious to tell, but I"m determined to wait till 12 weeks.

Welcome JLY! I had my ultrasound Thursday. Heart beat was a lot easier for us to see this time. The image is starting to look like a baby (I was almost 9 weeks at the time). I can tell the head and where the body is. It's amazing. I was taken off the progesterone suppositories and released to my regular Dr. My first appointment with her is Nov. 29th. You guys that haven't said anything yet are stronger than me! We called our parents that day and all the girls I work with knew as well (they knew I was going through IVF and knew when my blood test was). We've pretty much told everyone. I know that something could happen before then, but I figured the more prayers we have the better, plus we don't have money to try again, so if something is to happen, this will be the only time I get to tell people I'm pregnant. Hopefully it all works out though (and so far so good) because we got our nursery set in the mail on Friday. A set I fell in love with a couple of months ago had been discontinued but I found it on EBay. I can't wait to start putting the nursery together. It feels real now!

Hello mummy's

I have not been on for a while, little bean gave us a bit of a scare!!! Woke up last sat 6th went to the loo, wiped and there was some blood!!! i didn’t know what to do!! My husband was at golf so it was just me and the dog wondering around the house in shock!!! I rang my mum who said to ring my dr, i rang them they said to rest and if the bleeding persists to go to the hospital!! Rang my hubby who rushed back in tears.... went straight to the hospital to wait for 2.5hrs and be told to go home and rest!!!! The weekend was very emotional, the bleeding had stopped not long after i went to the loo first thing sat, but still seeing blood you just associate it with bad news...!!! I rang my GP first thing Monday morning and insisted that i have a scan to put our minds at rest, the earliest they could give me was Thur!!!! What a long week.....
Thursday arrived, both felt very nervous going for the scan incase 'little bean' was no longer.... sat on the bed, gel on my belly and nurse looking very serious at the u/sound screen...... phew... she turns the screen around and 'little bean is alive and kicking' just wanted mummy & daddy to see he/she again!! Little rascal !!! Had a little more of a bleed the following day, but nothing to be worried about, i have just been making notes for when i see my midwife for my first app. this Thursday . Cant believe how big 'bean' is getting, has grown so much in the last few weeks, looks like a proper baby now
Back to work today after a week of resting, and i am feeling very positive, so i have spread the news about our new addition to the rest of my work team, everyone is over the moon for us i was so nervous telling people at first, then i couldn’t stop showing the piccy to people!! I will be 11wks this thur 18th, every time i go to my scan i am a few more days on that expected so it seems to be going really quick!! Have my 12wk on 30th Nov, can’t wait to see the naughty bean again....must be a boy causing us trouble already

Deidraj and JLY - great to hear about your ultrasounds. It's such a relief to see that heartbeat pumping away.

Happychops - yay for your little bean being just fine. The bleeding would have given you a real scare.

Pinkdaisy - Your poor thing with the 'thinking about eating' gags. My problem is I can't stop thinking about eating!

AFM - met my OBS today for the first time and had an u/s. My baby blob has changed to a definite bean shape now. Heartbeat was fine and bean measured up well. Go for nucheal trans u/s and bloods in the next couple of weeks and then back to the OBS at wk 14.

I hope everybody else is well.

I have my scan next tue, cant wait to see the little bean that is making my belly pop out

Hi everybody

Happychops -so great to hear that you've had no more scares. My belly just starting to pop out a bit too. My clothes are getting pretty snug.

I hope all you ladies in the US had a lovely Thanksgiving. It isn't celebrated here in New Zealand but I have a couple of friends living here from the US and they always do something special.

I had my NT screening scan yesterday. Wow! A much better picture than previous scans. Could see face, arms, legs. Very cool! I was amazed at how much the little bean moves around at this stage. He/she was constantly on the go, flipping this way and that. My pregnancy is finally starting to feel real. Yay! We've announced my pregnancy to everybody now so no more secrets - phew!!
