hey shell,

found an awful 2 piece thingy with stipes no less - really exaggerates the curves :( Never mind - the aquanatal class was great - worth going although I don't feel I've done anything...'losing' the weight in water was lovely - although I felt twice as heavy coming out!!! Would definately recommend it to anyone though...

Sorry the curry didn't work - it'll have to be hot sex then
Either that or just keep up with the crumpets!!!! (all this talk of crumpets made me go and buy 12 from asda - nightmare - knowing they're there and not eating them all at once....

Never mind, only a couple of days to go -- just keep ypurself occupied. I'm the diy-er in the house and yesterday it took me practically the whole day to put up 2 bloody shelves - the frustration (almost to the point of tears) was unbelievable and my patience threshold has gone completely!!!!! I think Steve'll be happy when he gets 'me' back!

Take it easy

Hi Zoe,

Well nice to hear from you, I have been on site but never saw a post from you and now I just come across it. Would help if I had my eyes open lol. well didn't sleep very well last night just couldn't nod off but going to have a hot chocolate before I go to bed tonight to see if that will help. I think I just have that much on my mind atm nothing is easy!! I can't believe you do the DIY in your house, you've put me to shame now, I wouldn't even know about putting up two shelves  they wouldn't be straight anyway thats a fact.

I'm sorry I started you off on crumpets :) but I love them, mine have all gone now but going to venture to Sainsburys tomorrow to pick some more up, I love Dairylea, meat, anything on mine :) but there again i'm just a little weird.

So how you feeling? You had a good day?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Love

My day was good - not much to report apart from the aquanatal class - OMG- a different world of pregnant women, women who have given birth recently and 'coffee' afterwards - soooooooooooo not me and I felt a little out of my depth. Being a Highland lass, just living in Edinburgh - it's all too much :D :? :D

How was your day? I'll bet you're looking forward to your next appt...Maybe the lack of sleeping is a good sign???? You're body is certainly getting eady for what is to come!!

lol - don't worry, I need no encouragement on the crumpet front - I 'blame' my nana for that vice. That and her pancakes - when she was still alive, she'd make these batches of fresh pancakes and you'd have to eat them all at once as if they went cold, they were like rubber!!! :D Ah, the memories. I'm also partial to potato cakes - oh the health eating in it all

Well, I'm off to read a book now. I used to be such an avid reader, but my concentration span lasts to about 1 page at the mo...so, I'm off to read the same page I've been reading for the last 3 nights! lol

Hope you sleep better tonight...

Hi Zoe,

Lovely to hear from you, just to let you know I didn't realise about the rollcall list, I am just blaming it on my hormones, and keeping you on your toes  ha ha.

I love pancakes, now you've started me on something now, they do some up Sainsburys where they are already done u can eat them warm or cold so I may have to get some later, they near enough taste as good as home made.

What sort of books do you read? I ain't read a good book for ages, I like Danielle Steel to be honest, I have I don't know how many books to read but I guess once bab is here its bye bye to reading.

Sorry this is short, I am still in my PJ's and DH will be home from work in a bit and he will be wondering what I have been doing. Mind I didn't get up till 10:00, but saying that it is nearly 11:30 ha ha.

Hiya Shell - don't worry, not short at all. It's nice to be in regular contact with someone else playing the waiting game!!!!

God, I can't believe food seems to be the focus just now!!!

As for books - I like crime myself - anything to get the brain stimulated - I think it's gone a bit soft of late!...

Had antenatal this morning, so didn't get the luxury of lounging about unfortunately - all about breastfeeding this week so we had a laugh...we were all just saying how real things were becoming - I've only just let myself hit the stage where I'm thinking - OMG I'm actually pregnant :D It's been so long coming everything seems so unreal - don't you think?

What you up to for the rest of the day then?

P.S. Aww thanks Shell - you didn't need to change it, it wasn't a criticism. It's even scarier as I'm even nearer the top of the list!!!!!

Hi Zoe,

Nice to hear from you, thanks for the good luck well today is offically the day I am now 40wks pg, but if baby not here today then I am at the hospital tomorrow so will keep you all up to date.

I love my food just lately, thats all I can think about but best make the most of it because I will have to be thinking of cutting down shortly.

Well what did I get up to yesterday, Lee & I went and brought a new car yesterday we have brought a new Ford Focus and its lovely. We have to go back tomorrow and just sort all the details out but we are pleased with our choice, a lovely metallic blue colour and I am just so so happy, cus mine is only a 3 door clio so going up to a 5 door is bliss especially with the baby on the way.

I don't know how you could read crime books to be honest but I guess its everyone to there own. My Mom In Law loves crimes but I can never get into them.

Have you decided if your going to B/F I ain't because I don't feel comfortable doing it so I have opted for Cow & Gate.

What you up to today?

I have to get myself ready and pop to Sainsburys because it is Mom In Laws B'day today and need to get a card and also want to get some flowers for her.

Hope to hear from you soon.

cor, new car. you don't do things by half do you. first your boiler, then a car, then a baby! lol 5 doors will make a difference - you won't have to bend and stretch as much.

I think I will breast feed - try it at least to start with. Our hospital up here is very pro B/F - don't even talk about bottles...but what'll happen will happen - I'd like to give it a go - especially if it does help get the weight off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mind you, my sis only did it for a couple of weeks and then had to stop, but she's a skinny git anyway :( and the baby's fine so just go with what you're comfortable with....

this afternoon - away out to meet dh at pc world - better get dressed since he's just phoned lol!!!!!!!!!!!! oh no, pizza hut there too........ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

speak soon. look after yourself and bump :D

Hi Nik & Zoe,

Well just to let you know Nik my hospital appointment ain't till tomorrow and I ain't late yet because today is my due day, but I will let you off cus of your hormones. Poor Zoe probably thought she was losing her marbles lol. The time is dragging now, baby seems to of dropped way down now and sitting like a lady not with legs open but just can't shut them. :) Well Zoe I had to have a new car I don't want mine to go but Lee is thinking what is right ie with money because I am taking a year out of work.

Zoe did you go to pizza hut?
A pizza hut a pizza hut
kentuckey fried chicken
and a pizza hut.
Sorry was just having a sing song.

I love showhomes they are lovely to look round, we live in a new house well we have been in 5 years now but maybe next year we will need to move because there is no space to store anything.

How about the severe weather warnings for next week? have you heard about all the snow.

Love

Hey cheeky, what marbles?? LOL They went many a moon ago....

In order of priority - SNOW>>>>>>>>>> if I don't get some soon I'm moving to Antartica - how can I really live in Scotland with no flaming snow?????? (as may have guessed - I'm a winter person more)

DUE DATE>>>>>>>>>>not hearing much from you today. How was the hospital??????? Keeping us in anticipation eh??????

PIZZA HUT>>>>>>>>>>do you really have to ask

BEING LADYLIKE>>>>>>>>>>>>being pregnant is a serious excuse not to be I say.

SHOW HOMES>>>>>>>>yeah great, but makes you feel unhappy with what you've got for space. Steve is now working from home, so we're outgrowing this place fast...Roll on that lottery win!!!

On a more serious note - when I went to the midwife last week she took a blood test because she said the hospital should have done one 3 weeks ago when I had that show of blood. They phoned today to say the doctor thought I had a vitamin deficiency and to take folic acid (which i don't undertand as I'm eating broccoli and still taking Pregnacare. SOOOOOOOOOoo unable to get a Drs appt today or even the midwife as they're so choc a block, the nurse did another blood test for folic acid (although she thought the blood count etc was fine although I was back to freaking, is the baby getting enough oxygen, is that why I don't feel him as much. blah, blah, freak, freak....-the usual). So I'm sitting there and looking at the prescription and notice it has a different Zoe on it with a different address!!!!! Hopefully that's why the nurse and midwife were a bit confused and the dr has mixed me up with someone else - I'll kill him next time I see him (great guy, get the feeling he's a bit scatterbrained at times!) Ah well, just have to wait and see. I've decided Sam is just a lazy baby, since Steve is his dad hahahaha (only joking)

Waiting in anticipation...

P.S I'll have to give you my proper email so you can send me a piccy of this bundle of joy that's soon to arrive...

Hi Zoe,

Just a quick one from me because I am just so tired so I am heading off to bed so will have to catch up with all the posts tomorrow. Well I ain't been online today but still no sign of baby but I have been given a date to be induced which is 01st Feb next Sunday thats if baby asn't made an appearance by then.

Well I can't belivee that with your gp if he gave you the wrong stuff that would be so bad if he done that.

We have had to go and sort out the paperwork for the car and we pick the car up on Tuesday which is exciting, well providing we don't get all this snow that is forecast.

Anyway M8
Nite Nite
Sorry its short.

Hey there,

I'm not suprised you were sleepy after the day/night you had. A DATE eh? Well I reckon now they've given you a date, baba will pop out to suprise you...here's hoping so you don't have to wait another week. Well if you do, I'll keep bugging you every day and keep the old pecker up by discussing food!!!!!!!!

Well, the nurse phoned to say that the prescription is for me as some levels are rising, so I've to pick up another today but not take it until the blood results on Wednesday. I'll eat more bananas meantime and try not to worry that the baby may be not getting enough folic acid etc. Here's hoping if my levels were off a real concern then he would have started me immediately - I'll tell myself that as if it's not one thing than it's another. Steve keeps telling me to think of the women who really abuse their bodies and their babies end up fine - I hate all this - not enjoyable at all. God, what'll the worry be like when he's actually here????!

Getting the car on Tuesday eh? Great stuff. As for the snow - I'm telling myself it'll miss us (as it seems to have done all year) in the hope I'll get a lovely suprise. :D Maybe I should go up to my mum's this weekend further North as they'll prob def get it and I may get snowed in :D :D :D !!!

Anyway, hope you had a better night's sleep. Take it easy today...Think I'll take the dog for a nice long walk...

Hi Zoe,

Well in our conditions we could really do without the snow I guess, even though I do like it but I think I would rather it pass us by. Its nice here today well it looks nice the blue skies but I bet its so cold. I am just going to get myself ready and I am going to do some ironing.

Well I had a phone call this morning Jenny who is our Nephew's Girlfriend she as gone into labour, she is due tomorrow. Claire who lives up our cul de sac she is a week late and I have just seen her getting in the car with her bags and her other half and her hospital folder and could see she was in pain so she as also gone in. I look at myself and I think well when am I going  I can't wait to meet my baby now Zoe, I am happy but I just want mine to make an appearance but at the end of the day the little one will only come when he/she is good and ready.

Scott our other nephew helps Lee out on the milk and passed his driving test a couple of weeks ago. He had to reverse a milk truck out the depot today and bang whats he gone and done hes reversed it into Lee's car  so that's got to be repaired now.

Steve's exactly right in what he is saying about people abusing there bodies when they are pregnant. You see people smoking/drinking and then they go on to have healthy babies.

Did you have the AFP test done Zoe to see about the % of downs etc...... I didn't have it done and I know some people don't but its always on the back of your mind wanting everything to be ok.

Did you take the dogs for a walk?

What you up to this weekend?

Hope to hear from you soon.

And I did have a nice sleep, I got up about 7/8 times for a wee but once I got back in bed I fell straight back to sleep so it wasn't to bad.

Love
Shell.
