gwinnyblack- I am sorry ivf didn't work for you. Have you discussed with yr doc what reasons might be? Have you considered doing additional tests eg karyotyping? A friend of mine, who had 2 cycles failed, underwent ivf with pgs ngs, and that has worked for her. She got pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful baby.

Hello) Hope everything will be great) During this tough and worrying times you just continue to keep positive and never let yourself feel down. There are stories about failed attempts, but also there are huge amount of success! I believe you'll be one more great woman who farewelled to infertility. And you will be the example for others. When I see my friend, so pacified and happy now, I just keep smile and believe that all problems will go away. She was so reckless few years ago... It was so hard. But she tried more and more and today I see that ivf works, and it just gives hope... Good luck to you, everything will be great!

Happy to hear about your increased chances of being a mother soon. Actually, the process pretty much depends on your diagnosis and the clinic's usual outlay. Now that you're due for the blood tests and Ultrasound the immediate next step would be medications for ovarian stimulation. Though the stimulation will start once your blood test and ultrasound sonography come out positive or they put you under therapy to boost the favourable conditions for ovulation for a while. Your RE or coordinator will decide whether to continue with medication or to go for ovulation induction - based on a bunch of tests within 5-7 days of starting the medication. The egg retrieval and fertilisation will follow. However, the duration of each stage varies from person to person and can only be decided by the attending fertility specialist. Wish you all the luck!
