Hi, it's so brave of you to share your story. Millions of couple undergo this procedure and they are having a happy family life. There is nothing to worry about. I know a clinic who deals in many cases like these every year. My best friend visited there. I hope this will work for you too.
Hi Miranda, having such thoughts is normal. I also felt the same way before I went for my IVF with donor eggs treatment. The baby will be of your husband genetically. Mostly, babies will look like their fathers in such cases. You can also discuss your concerns with doctors. In my case, they couldn't retrieve my eggs. The only option I had was donor eggs. I was a bit hesitant but I really can do anything to have my first child. I have been TTC for so many years. About the love thing - if you keep the baby in your womb for so many months, there is no way you won't feel for it. You will develop emotions during your period of pregnancy. I'm 32 weeks pregnant now. Baby may come out any time now. I can't wait to hold him (it's a baby boy). Oh, and the process of donor eggs is kept a secret by most of the clinics. You can also ask them to do that. There won't be any problem if they don't tell anyone. Most of the parents don't tell their babies that they used IVF to give them a birth. You can do the same. Clinic: the clinic where I had my IVF treatment is in Europe (Ukraine). If you are interested in visiting them, let me know and I'll provide you more details.

Egg donor cycles are routinely recommended to women who have zero chance or near zero chance with their own eggs, or to same-sex male couples. Not much of a secret.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
It's worth looking onto surrogacyinfo. They're dealing with egg donation and surrogacy processes, so that we got interested. Also there's a plenty of things they offer to their intended patients. They had a free consultation with the patient coordinator. They explained us the process and shared their own family story which made you cry.
This is so great such thread exists! I really needed to hear de success stories. I'm more and more convinced I should go for this option. I've just started my research. So I didn't decide yet where we'll have ivf. I still need to find lots of info before we start this journey. But I'm so happy I came on this forum. All of you girls helped a lot! Thank you so much and good luck!
Even after menopause women try to have a baby. There is always an option of using donor eggs. Thanks to this way of treatment they get pregnant and give birth. Yes, chances to conceive decrease with years but that percentage is really small. Especially considering the fact that in nowadays society women tend to have babies after their 30s and 40s, because they want to make a career or save money for a baby or find a reliable man to build family with. Jilly, your age is perfect for ttc! So go for it!
I am sorry about what you had to suffer from. Its very tough to live without a child, when you want one. It's very heartbreaking & the worst feeling. I understand your concern, it is very natural. My sister had some health issues so she underwent IVF with donor eggs, she also feels the same way when she started her treatment. She was very confused in the starting days of her treatment. She was about to quit. But somehow, we managed to convince her, even when she was not fully ready. But as time passes, she started feeling the connection between her and her child. Afterall, the child belongs to her husband. She understands what it feels to be a mother and hold a baby in you for a period of 9 months. She automatically started falling for the child. Now, she is a mother of the cute baby girl, she is happy and enjoying her life with her baby and DH. So, don't think much, just start the treatment & things will start happen automatically. Good Luck for your future.
Hi everyone
anyone in the same boat? I am unable to conceive, I married for 3 & half years. Initially, It was our (I & my DH) choice not to have a baby, bcoz we both were working and we are at the peak of our career. We decided to try in 2 years. I think here, we made a mistake. Now we are trying to conceive from last year, but nothing seems working. The more painful thing is that My doctor told me that I have blocked tubes, I just can't believe this. I don't know why. She told me about IVF & told me about clinics in Ukraine & Europe. I want to know which is the better palace. I am disturbed, stressed right now. I don't know what to do. Did we really make a mistake?

Avoid Ukraine.
Blocked tubes are not an indication for donor egg.

Hello dear OP! First of all I have to say that this thread was really helpful for me. I'm so sorry about your story. I'm glad you are moving forward. I'm 36 yo. I was diagnosed with premature menopause. Now I'm looking for information about ivf with donor eggs. How is your journey going? Any news? Have you found a donor? I hope I'll be able to talk to you. How do you feel about the procedure itself? I'm so scared. I’m so sorry for all these questions. I'm new to this and I'm very nervous.
I did this procedure In Ukraine. There are such surrogacy and IVF agencies as Biotexcom, Isida, Babyboom. When I was choosing to go for Surrogacy, I decided to visit Kiev first and to see all clinics. So we came, talked to all of them. Finally, we agreed to work with babyboom.

More than that you would find lots of amazing sites in the Internet as whereifv, eggdonationfriends, medigo that offer tons of useful info on IVF and IVF DE
miranda3 wrote:Hello girls! Reading your stories I decided to share mine. I want to talk with someone, who understands how it feels to be infertile. I'm 38 yo and I was diagnosed with early climax. Still we don't want to give up and believe that we'll become parents one day. After some research and consultation with our doctor we found an option – ivf with donor egg. My husband is really positive about this procedure. But I have some doubts. I want to have children, it's my dream! I have some concerns. Will I love this baby? It won't be genetically related with me. What if I don't feel love towards this baby? I'm afraid it will look differently from me and everyone will notice. What if this baby wants to find a donor, his real mother? I don't know what should I do. Girls, who had de ivf, how do you feel now? Also I'll appreciate for any info about clinics, where this procedure can be done.
Sorry to hear about your problem! I'm not sure what you mean by early climax though... I don't think, unlike guys our orgasm has anything to do with conceiving at all. But your fears over donor conception is like unnecessary. You can try Adonis Clinic in Ukraine if you're really looking for your best shot at getting pregnant without having to involve donor conception. A friend of mine was suggested the same after having failed 2 rounds of IVF. They moved to overseas clinic primarily to not stress on their financial constraints but then the clinic was really a boon because she didn't need a DE+IVF. See everyone who has ever been told they'll need donor conception has the same dilemmas as you're facing. But at the end of the day if it's not gonna happen without donor egg then it's totally worth it the motherhood even if it lacks the biological linking. A child from donor conception won't grow up in resentment if you drop all those thoughts and consider it your own flesh and blood... you'll be carrying it in you womb nourish it from within. But in case you still wanna give OE+IVF a try with maximum success possibility I insisit you take a look or talk to the client representative at Adonis clinic.
