Hi Traci

So sorry to hear your news.............I can only begin to understand how you feel. Last week after TESE operation we found out that DH had no sperm........we were gutted (again - we have been crying since last July when the first sperm test came back)

Anyway we had DIVF and as you probably know are on the dreaded 2WW........which incidentally is doing my head in!!!!
It feels every bit as special as being all your own..........your dreams will come true one way or another and they day you hold the little bundle in your arms this episode of your life will seem a millon years away!!

I'm off now to tick off every waking second til Sunday!

Keep the chin up babe

traci, don't want bombard you if you've got a minute read the following site:

Phytosterols - Plant Hormones
... isoflavones. Coumestrol can reduce FSH and LH levels and is about 1/200 as potent as estrogen. About 20 coumestrols identified to date. ...
www.motherearthherbs.com/phytosterols.html - 20k - Cached - Similar pages

in summary it promotes soya and other natural products that are said to reduce fsh. i ate organic soya almost daily. mine was for protein though but all organic and all the supplements we already talked about. anyway, might be of interest to you. also, take a look at the zita west site. she talks about a liver detox in relation to fsh. talk to your chinese med about that, i too had a liver detox from my acupuncturist. can't be coincidence can it?

best wishes

Oh DARRRRRRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLLLINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG

I have been away from the message board, trying to get my life back to normal.

So, so so so so sorry to hear your news. How dare you have early menopause, or WHATEVER FSH. is meant to stand for.

I am sure you are a sex kitten like all of us (!) damn it.

What can I say - I would let you have my eggs, (toasted, fried) but I don't have that many - and er, they are a little 'unreliable'! In fact that is an understatement.

Damn Damn Damn

LIfe is just so bloody unfair.

Hi Traci
I'm so sorry to read your post - it is just so unfair. It may be worth giving acupuncture a go as they say it can really work miracles.
I'm sending you and dh loads of love and huge cyber hug.

I just don't know what to say :( I had really not expected this - I am so sorry. The road is never easy with you and you deserve so much more. I hope you can find a donor asap - could have had mine but not in a position at the moment
Take care - massive hug

Trace, I'm so sorry honey. I was sure your fsh would be 'normal'. Life is such a ***** to you, its not fair. Sh!te should be shared a bit more evenly me thinks! You are so kind and giving to everyone, so generous with all your advice and encouragement for others (which is why you are top poster - Marcus an award needs to be given, the rest of us concede and agree she is the winner!!!) If I could do anything I would. But like you my fsh is pretty unreliable and my mum had an early menapause (32) so I was convinced I was going into menapause early too.....but then look what happened!!

Please don't give up. Have you asked your consultant whether you could try using Puregon - my consultant told me that I could still go ahead with tmt but would use a higher dose of puregon if fsh got above 15. 23 is bizarrely high, but looking at your other readings, it could just be a blip. You managed a 6.4 not long ago. Please please please don't give up!

If you decide to go the donor route I hope with every single bone in my body it works for you. YOu really really deserve some happiness.

love nikola.xx

Traci

so sad to read your post, can your FSH go back down again? did they give any reason why it could jump from 6 to 21 (sorry if this is way off its to hard for my brain to remember what everybody said then start posting)

Enjoy a couple!! of very large brandies tonight and I will keep fingers crossed that you get an excellent doner or some lovely miracle.
Take care, with love

So sorry Traci, can't really add anything to what the other girls have already said but keeping my fingers crossed that things work out for you. Try and stay positive and believe that this will happen for you!

Traci,
I have also been away for a bit, worrying about problems which seem so petty in comparison with what happened to you. Just wanted to add my support. I cannot believe this could be happening to you. But there was a very hopeful story in the New Yorker someone sent me some time ago of woman who had high FSH and then it went down enough for her to have ivf and she was pg and had a babywithout further complications! (I am sorry I don't seem to have it any more) I pray for you that it goes down.
love,
Juliana
