Hi Phil
Phil
I guess thats what I have concluded from previous discussions with my consultant who indicated my time is running out with a high FSH etc.It was indicated that with each stimulation my chances get less of becoming pregnant. My first cycle only produced one mature egg to ICSI and this last time two mature ones. I suppose I'm thinking its my last chance as I don't think we will go for egg donation. I had max dose of Puregon last time to get the two mature eggs and as I understand there is not alot else they can do. I hope that the acupuncture will help as I feel I have done everything else to de stress me?!
This acupuncturist is doing a herbal course at the moment so I'm only having acupuncture.
I'm now waiting on a decision about whether I need a laparscopy to look at the rt cyst which is potentially endometrious and from there I should know when my review appointment is and when my potential next cycle will be.
I think all the positive responses about acupuncture has lifted my hopes, just need to sit with my husband and hope he'll support my decision to have another cycle. :?

hi jane, sry to hear u are having a tough week, it realy is such a tough
and emotional time, i remember after my 3rd -itve i use to cry at all
sorts of times and places (once on the hard shoulder of the M25 !!!!!)
I also started accupuncture towards the end of my 3rd treatment (-itve)
and during my 4th treatment and yes i did get my longed for +itve
at the age of 44 !!!! (just) i realy did find it helped me relax as i was
getting so stressed, i think u realy have to give it your best shot i know
i was willing to try anything. I know its not what u want to hear
but take your time get the cyst sorted out, also with the accupucture
they do like a bit of time to get u prepared.
take care alisonn

Hi Jane

Just got back from hols and read your news. I am so sorry it's another negative :( It's such a rough ride we go through and and to get kicked in the teeth at the end is awful.

I am looking into acupuncture for my 4th attempt in June. It will be the first time I will be doing anything like this and have been a bit worried about it. I am going to do reflexology too. Not sure about the chinese herbs though, it all sounds a bit revolting.

Hope you are picking yourself up and being positive for the future.

Take care

Love Dagny xkx
