Hi Gem,

Your right in what your saying the worry never stops, but I just want to say enjoy every minute of your pregnancy, once you get past 12wks the time flies by and even more so when the little one/ones are born.

Love
Shell & Alex (12wks today)

Gem,
I'm sooo pleased for you! After all that hassle over the weekend (and of course the previous emotional agony) this must be just like a miracle.

I'm still in shock! The +ve has not sunk in properly yet at all!
Like you, I don't feel pregnant at all (always get sore boobs every month anyway, so this does not feel any different); if anything I feel quite uncomfrotable - BUT here's a question:
I have quite bad abdominal pain (stomach feels very tender), so I can't find a compfortable position at night, have trouble standing up straight and walking seems to press on my lower organs. I mentioned this to the nurse at the blood test yesterday and he said it could be 'overstimulation'. What does that mean? I assume it's just so much progesterone going on in my body that I'm sort of stretching, which presses on other things? They tested me for overstimulation, but it must be OK because they did not call back (my clinic only calls if they want you do do anything different). So has anyone else experienced this or knows someone who has so I can contact them directly? When will it go away? I'm drinking heaps of water, but could I do anything else? Should I call the clinic again? (our docs aren't the most helpful chaps to be honest)
Anyway, hope you don't mind me posting this here - not ready for the other side yet...!
Now it's waiting for 2 weeks again for the 1st scan....but don't want to moan...!
Hope everyone is well - Gem - congratulations again!
Let me know how you're doing! I don't even know my own levels, so I have no idea on that front..!
Cheers - lots of love,
bina

Bina its still not sunk in we have got silly grins on our faces but we ar eso scared at the same time I cant wait for tuesday to be over,I 've read you are going back on friday for a scan and blood test hopefully your pains will ease,we have to go on tues for another blood test I think its my clinics protocol to do blood tests a week after test day to see if my levels are what they should be I pray to god that they will then I think it will be a scan the week after where you will find out if its twins,I just what some pg syptoms so then it will feel real when do pg syptoms start???
I've just a few questions but dont feel brave enough to post on the other side enought though I read the treads every day,do I still not drink tea, coffee and eat chocolate as I havent had any caffiene since March also which foods should I advoid? is tap water ok to drink or should I stick to mineral water??????
we finally opened our bottle of champagne last night that we got for our 1st wedding ann we have been saving it for this special day we have been married 3 years this Aug so e had to dust the bottle down  his mum and dad came over and shared it with dh I had a glass of water which I didnt mind at all,it was so nice to tell our families as tehy have benn through each treatment with us there was plenty of tears shed yesterday.
