Dana, I'm with Dagny's question, why are you on antibiotics? I know doxycycline very well. I spent my first year of backpacking on it as it's a great anti-malerial. I remember it has a ton of other uses too. It's very good with stomach problems which kept me well for my first 7m, which was pretty remarkable.
Aly, hope you enjoyed your bike ride. Where in London are you? where did you cycle? or it is an exercise bike in front of Dr.Phil

DF bought our drugs today. It's a bit early but there's only one chemist in the city that stocks it all and I didn't want to risk it. The folic acid has gone up! it's now 89 kroner (£7.25/13US for 100).
We've sat down and looked at the costs and provided we don't need more Puregon like last time, the total will be at least £1,000 less than first time round. The tmt + all tests, scans, apts. etc. will be £1,500 (2,700 US) and the drugs another £850 (1,500 US). I think that's pretty good, considering. How does that measure up to others???
We've ANOTHER national holiday tomorrow. This time Ascension. Everything shut, no nothing. I thought I might clear our my wardrobe It's supposed to rain, so I might as well try to do something useful.

Hi girls well the bike ride hasn't worked so I'm now going to try Dagny's suggestion! Debra I live in Hertford just north of the great M25. so have the benefits of going into London for the night but do not have to pay London housing prices!

How are you all today? Dagny - really hope you are not feeling so down? It's all going to be happening so soon now for you - sending you lots of positive vibes+++++
The down regging is going fine now thanks, but, have had a dull crampy stomach pretty much all the way through, has anyone had that before? I thought that was only on the next bit? Blimey you just become so paraoid/sensitive to EVERYTHING don't you??!!!! Well I'm just going to go with it and hope that all is ok as I guess I can't do anything about it until I go for scan on 2nd June...
Debra - as for side effects, in the first two weeks I had bad headaches and v.tired, felt a bit weird, but since have been drinking loads of water and that's kicked in I feel fine now! I found giving up exercise a NIGHTMARE... But more calm now...! (she says....) Ahhh lovely Suffolk!! Yeah we have only moved here 6 months ago (Norfolk borders - near Lowestoft?) but love it! I moved up from central London too! How is life in Norway?? Where exactly are you? I played at a huge festival last summer about 2 hours from Oslo which was amazing! (Sorry for being so rubbish but can't remember the exact name of the town, I just tried to find the flyer but can't!).. I thought it was beautiful...

OK Kel you've got me very curious:) We can track down this place together but what kind of music was it and when exactly last summer? There are several music festivals each year so I need some help!

Hi girls.
I had my first estridol (spelling?) blood test yesterday and my numbers were extremely high. My coordinator said she wanted to see about 250 and my level was 535--what exactly does that mean? They also counted sixteen eggs on my left side and ten on my right side (after day five, some were already 14mm), and the doctor told me to back off of gonal-f for 48 hours. I'm just in a start of confusion.
Oh, and as for antibiotics--I'm not sure. My coordinator said that would make sure all infection is gone from my body before we start the retrival. Am I the only person doing this?
I hope everyone else is doing well. I'm praying for all of us.

Sounds like they're on top of the situation though. Are you uncomfortable? I only had 9 smallish follies on my full ivf and could still see ovarian swelling on both sides of my abdomen in the bathroom mirror. Bit freaky really suddenly seeing a part of your insides appearing on the outside. Won't happen this time as we've no longer got a full length mirror in the house

good morning buddies,i hope your all well and positive thinking today!debra i start buserlin injections on tues and i inject myself i didnt get offered the pen,never have.i find the injections ok actually i dont mind them,i just like to know im getting going.
dana,that is wonderful all those follies,i had around 30 on both my ivf attempts,and luckily had no probs with ohss,just keep drinking plenty.
dagny and aly i hope you are both well,
it is also raining here i hate it i think it makes you feel miserable,i love the sunshine,well im off for a swim,im still trying to shed the few pounds i have gained through ivf,and i have just had a scone and a cake for brecky,well buddies take care.love loopy.

Debra - The puppy is a cross between a Jack Russell and Border Terrier so we call the breed a 'Brussell' She is called Coco and tiny. She wee's a lot and bites contantly. I look like a pin cushion. You have had awful weather by the sounds of it. We have just had a heatwave but it rained last night and it's much cooler now.
Aly - Did my suggestion re: sex work???
Kel - Did you get anything interesting on ebay? Thanks for the positive vibes you sent me. I am a bit better but I have just had some very bad news about my friends baby and it's brought all my emotions to the surface again.
Loopy - I am the same as you as I inject without a pen. I have got 4 of them but I find it much less painful without the pen I don't bruise so much either. Good luck for Tues when you start injecting.

well AF has arrived in style today and yes Dagny your suggestion did the trick! Booked in for my scan on Tuesday, the donor will start stims around the same time so things are moving along, still a long way to go but it's getting a bit more exciting!
Off out with the girls tonight making the most of my last week before I sart cutting down on everthing and being a little bit careful! How is everyone else? Dagny any news when you will start down regging?

My DH and I decided not to tell anyone about this cycle so that we don't have to go through all the 'I'm so sorry speaches' the issue is I have to go to Alton towers with a group of the girls on a work do and last time we went I was on all the rides and most of them twice! so what can I say that will not sound suspicious thought I might use the doggy curry excuse, what do you think?? By the way I can just not go as it's a team build day and we are expected to attend.
Anyway off to do some work, hugs

Hi Aly, really glad AF arrived (the things we know about it each other!)....if some of your workmates know about the other attempts you'll have to be extra-super-sneaky as they'll immediately jump to conclusions. Maybe say you drank too much the night before? they'll know big drinking is a no-no normally so that might mislead them a bit. Plus mean you can grimace at the sight of anything stomach-churning. Also....a recent dizzy spell? or going down with a cold and having taken cold remedy? ooh...a stroke of genius...a stiff neck (would wearing a neck-brace be completely OTT?). Or even a sprained wrist complete with bandage. You wouldn't risk gripping onto something with a dodgy wrist would you? I can't remember the BlackAdder quote but it was something like 'I'm as a cunning as Sly Foxy McSly' or something like that. Not sure that it's a good thing that I'm so good at coming up with excuses like these
