Hi girls - sorry - was out of the office all day Wed then my off day was Thursday.
Debra - oooh you did give me a fright re the Ready Brek, but I agree it must have been the gravy as that's really high in salt. Poor little mite. I know in all my books it says weetabix and ready brek are pretty much the only ones that are ok post 6 months. Tracy - when your little ladies are on breakfast, Boots do a really good organic baby porridge - I think it's the only one that's gluten free which is important until they get to 6 months when they can start having gluten. Not seen you on the board - i bet you've always got your hands full havent you - still - lovely to hear from you and love to your girls.
Di - just seen your thing re Ben and his eczema. What a shame the poor sausage, it must be so uncomfy for him. Jay started with eczema when he was 8 weeks, and we changed his milt to SMA LF (lactose free) and it disappeared within 3 days. He's 10 months now and still on LF milk twice a day, and we have slowly introduced cows milk in cooking and the eczema has not come back. You usually find that eczema is a symptom of some type of allergy or intolerance - either something in the environment (washing powder/conditioner) or food/drink (often dairy). My GP was very sceptical about using the LF milk and said that if it was lactose then the eczema would go within 2 days - and it completely disappeared, it was miraculous. If youhaven't been down this route it's worth a go - you can get LF milk from a pharmacy but might need to order it in - note LF not soya.
Shell - I'm so excited for you - I do feel you deserve a big run of good luck - so you're not starting work until 2005, Alex is a treasure (teeth and crawling and everything) and I think this will be a new start for you and Lee.
Love to all and hope you all have lovely weekends
