So pleased to hear from you, and thanks for asking. The baby is just fine. My Doc was much better this week as well! The clot is smaller and nowhere near the placenta, so she is sure it will be just absorbed. The baby is much bigger than last scan, and everything is just as it should be. So I've had the go-ahead to travel, and I have my first appointment with my GP tomorrow for referral to the antenatal clinic, which is rather exciting. Though now I'm fretting a bit about flying (as usual!) and the unbelievable wind we've been having (I'm sure they will not fly the plane if it is too strong). Still have snow?
Elizabeth, that's great news, you must be thrilled and relieved. I'm sure you will but try to enjoy your pregancy now. I know that sounds a bit daft but it's a wonderful time and usually so positive.
Oh boy do we have snow...we've had about another 10cm today I'd say, on top of an existing maybe 25cm. Getting around isn't easy but we've got quite a long drive tomorrow - out to a cemetary, it's usual practice here to visit close relative's graves and place a conifer wreath on 24th. It's usually done before the main festivities begin (we celebrate the 24th here). DF's grandfather died in January so we're off there. On a happier note, we bought a toboggan today for our 19m daughter so will be racing around on that before I start making our-not-traditional-dinner of brazil nut roast en croute...wish me luck!
Have a lovely Christmas and looking forward to following your progress!
Debra.
