that's true Rita...

It took me/us from Spring 2003 when we had the POF diagnosis until Nov last year to decide to go for donor eggs, but it wasn't really until Feb this year that I had the impetus and conviction to actually go ahead and make it concrete.

You can rush the process as it's all there waiting for you, but you can't rush your feelings. I would say though that I have no idea how I'll feel on Friday at ET, I just know I am able to be excited about the donor's EC tomorrow, without getting upset that it's not me. That's a good start isn't it ? :D

Love and kisses

I agree it's not something you can rush, it has gradually come to me that it is the right thing to do and now I 'm getting impatient! But I must take it slow and not get overexcited.
I have started things moving from this end - I rang my old clinic (not the one I'm on donor egg list, the one before that) to ask about getting all my tests updated, they said my GP should be able to do most of them (free!) and if not then they would do, so all straightforward there. I have put DH back on the zinc tablets (well you never know, he was on them before and we got a good fertilisation rate, maybe they helped), so I really feel like I'm doing something.
Sending +ve vibes for a good crop of eggs to Spain for your donor Jools...
Take care
Kat xx
