Good luck tomorrow - at least the end (and the beginning) are in sight.

I really hope it all goes as smoothly as possible for you and before long you're introducing your little one to us.

Big hugs

Hello all thanks for the well wishes I'm finally home. Glad to see you back Sand.
Well, things really go to plan for me. I was due to go for induction on Wed 1st Feb at 4 pm, but I woke at 5am to find I was having contractions every 4 mins and was leaking water and blood. I phoned the hospital who said to go in straight away.
When I got to hospital I was leaking black water as baby had pooed in me, which is a sign of distress so baby had to be delivered quick. I was put on a drip to speed up my contractions and was examined at 7 am and found to be 3cm dilated. At 6 pm I was examined and found to be only 4cm dilated even on the drip so a doctor was called in who examined me again, and said he thought my baby felt too big to be delivered naturally and that was why his head wouldnt engage. I agreed straight away to an emergency cesearean as baby was getting distressed, so within minutes I was whisked into theatre and my baby was delivered. When the baby came out the whole theatre was silent and staring at my baby, until one nurse said 'thats big' and the whole room laughed!
Anyway to end the story Ryan Alexander was born at 6.27pm on Feb 1st weighing ......... 11 lb 7oz
He's very healthy. I lost a lot of blood, but am now OK and back home, but am unable to do much due to the surgery.
He doesnt fit in 0-3 month clothes but he's gorgeous, and hes tall at 25 inch long!
I am in pain, but he is worth every moment!
Anyway got to go thanks for all the well wishes
Susie!
