Thanks Jamato! how true!
I presume u're asking abt the hcg numbers? On my 1st hcg test (8 days after ET), hcg was only 3! (Sorry, not sure what the units are)... which was worrying coz the doc said it shd be >5 to be a positive.
On the 2nd hcg test (11 days after ET), it went up to 20! we were ecstatic! I'm not sure whether this figure is gd enough coz the doc told me to stay home and rest somemore...
I'm having my 3rd test today (day 13)... keeping my fingers crossed that the levels will be ok!
I'm not sure what "good" figures are supposed to look... How're your numbers?

Wow! What great news! Well done to the two of you! A real trek getting here but worth every step! Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.
Your numbers are doubling which is great. You can find out more on the net, but generally they look to see the numbers climb by X 2 every 36-48 hours.
Best wishes

The numbers differ between each person, so unfortunately there is a large range of acceptable numbers....All you need to be concerned with is that they are doubling which it looks like they are - clinics may also have different units of measure and may test on different days.....My first test was done 14 days past egg retrieval...My first HCG was 187 and my second was 439 - this is very similar to my last pregnancy which was a singleton pregnancy, but I know plenty of folks that had levels like yours and went on for successful pregnancies....Don't worry about the range - you just want to be sure they are doubling!
