i feel weird like it still really hasnt hit me... i think coz we've waited like 6yrs for this that it still seems so far away... i hope that doesnt sound negative? we're soooo happy and cant wait!!! dh rings me all the time when hes at work asking if theres 'anything happening' lol! he's been soooo great with me and in fact he's gone to the supermarket now coz im dying for cheese and onion chips!! yum, he's just back now!!!

thanks lilp and ange! trying to rest heaps whenever i get the chance but then im always up at about 4am and cant get back to sleep - i think it must be a combination of anxiety and uncomfortableness? i luv my 'nanny nap' during the day!! i dont know how women do it who already have kids - its so exhausting! hope your lil ones r doing well!!

Hiya Danica, i'm totally with you there on waking around 4am, i'm also 2am, 6am and 8am aswell, don't think my little un likes me lying more than 2hrs at a time

Do you think you'll go early, on time or late? Your due date is the day before my birthday and anniversary.
Hope you don't have to wait too much longer, this waiting is just awfull.

hi michelle, i just posted on your countdown as well lol!!
i always thought i'd go early coz of the swelling and my blood pressure kept rising so was convinced they would induce me at 37weeks but thankfully everything settled (apart from the swelling) and im a still waitin!! my due date is a day after dh bday and the day of my closest cousin!! amazing how that worked out but ive always had the 14th (which is mothers day here tomorrow) and the 17th in my head for some reason so we shall see! its now sat evening 13th so i doubt i'll have the baby by tomorrow, mothers day! maybe u will though!!!! yay!!!

Hiya Danica,
That would be a lovely birthday present for your DH if your little un arrived on his birthday.
The 17th was the original due date i was given by the fertility clinic at my 8wk scan but after i was released and saw the obstetrician he decided they were wrong and it was the 15th, DH tried to argue the case but lost

The 17th was also the date my mam was due to have me but i was late and came on the 22nd. I would love to have this little un on the 22nd aswell, her birthday, my birthday and our wedding anniversary but i'm so fed up now i just want her out

You never know, your little un might still arrive in time for mothers day, s/he still has a day to make an appearance, fingers crossed for you.

michelle, then maybe the ob is wrong and it really is the 17th! then possibly she'll arrive on the 22nd which would make her only 5days over due!! i know it seems so far away but it is only next week - wow, what a present for u guys!!! either way its a miracle! dh's prediction for us was always may 20th at 3.58am imagine he's right.... dududududu

brandy, thanku so much for the mothers day wish - hope yours was good too!! dh made me brekky in bed and got me the most beautiful mum-to-be card saying thanku as if our little bub was saying it in appreciation of all the swelling, blood pressure, dizziness and other symptoms and that soon s/he will be with us and we'll have fun listening to the wiggles!! very cute - it brought a tear to my eye!!

well, todays the 21st... my official due date! i cant believe ive made it this far, i honestly thought i'd go earlier... im always late for things so maybe this baby is going to take after me lol... i still keep walking into the nursery - its all set up and looks fab... all we need now is the baby... hurry up bubba!!!
