Hi there,

I had a c-section at 38weeks as the predicted size of our little boy was 5kg (think thats about 12.5 lbs!) in the end he was 4.02 kg (c. 10 lbs)

Hi,

I was induced(only took 14 hours) at 37 weeks because of pre-eclampsia and Jessica weighed 7lb 10 3/4 so definately not small but she did have 2 lots of steroids from 30 weeks in case of early delivery so i am not sure whether this had a bearing on her size.

all the best

love

My IVF angel came 10 days late, at over 41 weeks, so it's not so for all of us!

You have had lots of replies but don't know if mine might help too - I had twins delivered by planned C/S due to presenting twin in extended breech position at 38 weeks -one was 6 lb 11 0z and the other was 5 lb 11 oz.

Good luck.

Oooops sorry I have just realised that I only read page 1 of messages and clearly I am months behind so apologies for inappropriate message in the middle of all this!!!

Prior to having babies I used to be sane and organised - now I am afraid to say I am a bit ditzy :D

Justine - congratulations on the birth of Nicholas. My girls were born 5th Jan 2006!

Sorry again everyone. I'll keep up next time!
