You poor thing, what a nightmare for you and I have to say, quite bad that your clinic left it so long.

I would have done the same in your position and causing you stress is not good for you either - as if you don't have enough to worry about... However, it's better than looking back and wishing you hadn't done something.

hi aunty, just when you on the final road they throw this at you!! Although I have limited experience on this and therefore my advice would have being purely on what I would have done in the same situation and I would have done the same as you.

It's pretty unfair to lay this on you without giving you all the facts to help you come to a well informed decision. I would certainly talk to the clinic about their negligence to spot this earlier on.

You have made the right decision and I'm sending you loads of PMA dust to pick you up

Well it seems the decision isnt mine any more i went for a nice drive with hubby clear the cobwebs.... we had 4 calls from the clinic first was to book my scan for tuesday...me in shock said no weve decided against doing it...3 calls later i finaly get the oncall Dr who informs me we have no choice if we dont do the test they wont let us continue with the cycle....we said well ok lets do the test then restart my cycle november ... but he said this means we are choosing to cancel so its our loss and our money...i got so upset i had to let hubby do the talking..we have to go tomorrow and see the Dr of the day talk things over ...no idea where we go from here.

oh Lady's thank you so much for letting me rant on i have noone else to talk to who would even begin to understand what im on about ... i know most of you have walked in my shoes ...and i really do appreciate you ... i am trying to get myself together for tomorrow ...we decided we arnt going to be bullied into something we may later regret doing....
i actually asked...ok so how many times have you dont this procedure during a cycle?? answer erm well its very very rare...it normaly always done at least one period before a cycle starts... so i ask ok so out of those you have done how many went on to have successful out come...answer well none but we dont know that this had anything to do with it...it really shouldnt affect anything.....for me thats really not good enough

Mia hunny thanks... and we will stand our ground as much as possible i dont think the extra hormones i have right now are keeping me very stable...LOL i cry at little house on the prairy so not much hope for something like this...

Oh Aunty, this sucks. Bloody doctors....they have absolutely no idea what they are doing when it comes to the emotions of IVF tmt. You are a strong lady and you will get through this, just another hurdle before your dream comes true. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult and trying time. Good luck tomorrow.

I dont know what to say hun, im no expert in any of this, but i do know how stressfull it is. Its not fair that ur DR has put u thru this, i just wanted to say, that i hope u get the anwsers ur looking for today - u stand ur ground and u fight for what YOU want.
