Very thorough Yllka, thanks for passing along the info. Thankfully, neither DH nor I smoke. I'm definitely trying to reduce the stress in our lives, but am not always successful, mostly with work. Will keep trying that.

I felt very lucky that I was able to get pregnant in my first try and just hope it can happen again and this time with a better outcome.

I appreciate your thoughts and wish you all the best, too! Keep in touch.

Hello Ladies - Hope you're all having great w/e. Well it' still waiting waiting waiting for me. Had my post polyp op apppmt today and he said pretty happy with things so far - the cavity is still a bit out of shape but said he would expect that ....so another check up in 2 weeks and then hopefully I'll know something more concrete. He always said 4 to 6 weeks after before we can do FET so still on track - but god it seems like an eternity.

Suzhan - what stage are you at in your cycle - are you transferring in NOv too?

Angie - I know what you mean - when I was waiting to start this cycle, it seemed like it took forever! Glad to hear you got good news form the doctor.

I'm starting lupron tomorrow - woo hoo! I start stims on 11/8 and the ET should be right around thanksgiving. I'm crossing my fingers, toes and everything else! I'm also trying acupuncture and chinese medicine this time in conjunction with the IVF. I really hope this will be the one that works!

Let me know how you're doing.

Oh - very cool! I hope we're in the 2 ww together. I just got 2 books today from amazon - 'nurturing yourself through ivf' and 'fertility and conception' by zita west. Lots of gals rave about the second book, so I'm looking forward to reading it.

From what I've heard, FET is a much less stressful process, so I'm envious! I really do hope I can get some frosties from this cycle - if I get a BFP this time, I'll have some for the future :D

Take care,

- Suzhan

Angie - Thanks for the good wishes! I had my scan today - so far, so good. If the bloodwork looks good, I'll have the green light to start stims on Wednesday morning. Just a few more days until your first FET appointment, so best wishes to you!

Take care,

Wisconsingal - welcome to the thread. I wish I knew the answer to keeping your stress level down! It's never easy - but try to get extra sleep, when possible. I know that helps. Good luck with the ER tomorrow - I wish you a great retrieval with lots of strong eggs!

Hello ladies - well I have had some good news - moved my appmt forward to yesterday due to AF coming unexpectedly last week and I am all set for the thaw cycle - hooray!!! Doc was pleased with how I had recovered from the polyp op and said we could get started. So I have to take progynova for 10 days to build up the lining and then go for another scan -ET should be in 2 or 3 weeks - finally things are starting to happen again - hooray! :D

Great news Angie - congrat's! Is progynova a pill or an injection? How many frosties do you have? My ET is either 11/22 or 11/24, so we'll probably be pretty close in schedule!

Hopefully, we'll get two strong BFPs for the holidays this year.

Hi Suzhan

progy is a pill - estrogen I think - to build up the lining so easy enough to take. I have 5 frosties - I hope they survive the thaw....if all goes to plan we will be very close with the transfer and 2ww so keep in touch!

Just checking in with you Angie - when do you go for your scan? I had my first scan on Monday - 11 follies thus far and uterine lining looked okay. Hope you're doing well also.

That sounds great Suzhan - you sound right on track. I have my lining measured tomorrow first thing (oz time) 7.30am (ugghhh! - early start!) so will post when I get back.
