I went for an ultrasound today. They did a couple days earlier than usual because they'r afraid of OHSS again. Today will be my 6th day of stims and there were around 20 follies but they were still pretty small. I had a Dr. today that I've never had before and I can't say that I liked her. But my normal Dr. was gone for the weekend. I go again Monday and hopefully I'll have something more exciting to report. I'll be staying in a hotel because my clinic is 3 hours away and they want to see me everyday next week. I'm not sure if I'll have internet acess. So don't worry

Geckogirl- Hope your stims are going good and your not to miserable

My2LnT- Get well soon, that doen't sound fun at all.

Rady- Are you still out there.. How are your stims?

Thank you everybody for your support, I am very nervous about my ER but at the same time I am ready ti get the eggs out, i am very bloated and it hurts everywhere because I am a little bit overstimulated. Good luck to everyone!!!!

Hi everybody,

I am in my third day of stims...it is hurting a bit and iam feeling a bit uneasy. hope it will get reduced soon..my u/s is on monday and based on that they will decide to increase the dose.
iam taking baby aspirin everyday..does anyone know what is the purpose of taking this??

I'm curious about the asprin too. I know a lot of women take during IVF but I asked my RE about it and they said they don't use it and found no added benefit from taking it. I trust their opinion because they are a research hospital who have been doing IVF for 20 plus years. So anyway, I want to know about the asprin too.

Rady-good luck with your u/s, what stims are you on?

iam taking follistim 225 IU for the past 3 days and today it will be 150 and menopur. and in the morning 5 ml of lupron

Rady - We are on aspirin as well. Hope they adjust meds so your not in too much pain

Well I had my first follie scan today. I had a cyst on my baseline u/s and have been having a lot of pain on that side so I was afraid that I would get cancelled today but it all turned out well. The cyst is gone and I have at least 13 follies! They are all small but uniform in size (no dominant follie) and she said I was doing great. Last IVF I only had 8 on the first scan so this is much better and unexpected because of my age. I am soooooo stoked!!!! I go again on Wednesday and hope they all continue to grow. During my two IUI cycles I seemed to lose some over the course of the 10 days of stims. We will see. For now I am on cloud 9 and feeling much more relaxed.

that's a good news. even i had my first U/S today after stims and Have 14 follicles and are smaller in size...so my doc will call me and inform me if there will be any change in the medication. I have my next u/s on wednesday..so we are on the same track...Good Luck to you and everyone !!!!

Well crap, it's looking like OHSS again. I had my ultrasound this morning and the Dr. about messed his pants. I have between 30 and 40 follies!!!!! Most were between 11 and 14mm. They're going to check things out tomorrow before make any desicions. They even had me on what they call the "baby girl dose" of stims. So I'm a little disappointed. They'll probably reteive the eggs and freeze everything. That's what we did last time. But they have to get those follies bigger, without me getting too miserable, before they can do much with them!! I'll keep ya updated.

Hi everybody,
today i had 2 blast embies transferred.acc to my RE they were very good infact excellent embies. i hope one or may be two sticks good. i have left it on God,whatever is good for me. I am left with 4 blasts out of which 2 again are excellent ones. i hope i don't have to use them .Good luck to me and all of us

Vlada- How was ure ER?

Jenjen220- I know you mentioned abt OHSS. Just pray if your ER can do some transfer this time. good luck and good wishes to you.keep us posted

MyLNT2- Good luck on your stims. Very soon you will be ready for your ER.good luck

Hello,
I had my ER today and let me tell you i can barely walk now, in so much pain. They had to give me a painkiller shot in the butt after the ER because i was in pain. They took out 20 eggs and now I just have to wait and see untill tomorrow if any of them have ferilized. i am afaid that if I am sick like this, they will just freeeze them all an cancel the trasfer. i hope that won't happen

Just wondering what stimulation meds are u taking? my doc called and asked me to continue with 150 units follistim and 1 unit of menopur...just like my day 4 dose...is it ok if they didnt increase the dosage as they said my follicles are smaller in size. iam supposed to continue this till Tuesday..

Vlada try not to worry to much i waz really sore after ER and started to feel better after a couple of hours just try to rest i just went to bed i could hardly sit or walk like you. They still went ahead with the transfer im shure they will for you to. Good luck grow eggies grow

well no changes as of yet for me cant wait till thursday to get started i feel better than i did at weekend antibiotics worked i just feel tired and washed out think its because im excited and nervous about getting started any not long now. i kinda feel left behind at min as everyone has already started. Anyway sticky baby dust everyone
