I'm glad you are still feeling good Melinda!!! Hopefully the morning sickness will go easy on you!! At this point though, you'll probably be glad to have it!! When is your first ultrasound???? Should be in a couple weeks huh?

As for me, I am doing well. I have my moments where I think, my goodness I can't believe it didn't work. I try not to think that way, or I think I'll go nuts!! LOL! I am hoping to do a FET, after this AF comes and goes. First I want to have some extra testing done, possibly to check for problems of my body rejecting the embryos. I had an antibodies test, but I'm just trying to find a cause. Seems like as soon as they did the ET, my body was telling my uterus to ship those right out of me asap!!! Felt the same after my IUI's. Sooo, thought a little more research may be good. Anyone familiar with anything like that, pleeease let me know!!

fhl, great to hear from you, you sound good. thanks for thinking of me, i'll be sure to post asap. after our first failed ivf dr. suggested assisted hatching and taking a steroid called medrol for 4 days. you're dr. may suggest this, it typically is only done after a failed ivf. they sort of "crack" the egg to help it attach easier and then they have you take medrol to help your body not reject the embies. ask re about it. hasn't helped me yet, but you never know.

Hi Ladies, I have been away from this thread for a while so it took me little bit to catch up.FHL-Sorry to hear of your bfn-it's good you are looking forward. Your time is coming. Hang in there.Mimi-Wow, just a few more days. I have my fingers crossed...Melinda-Congrats! That is awesome hopefully you are the beginning of some BFP's around here.As for me, I went in for my ER on Thursday 11/1-I hag 21 great follies but only got 7 eggies, my RE was in shock. They can't figure out why my other 14 folies were empty. Anyway, out of the 7, 6 were mature and 5 fertilised. Out of the 5, I only had 2 decent embies for todays (Sunday)3 day transfer. We were hoping for a 5 day transfer but my RE didn't want to take any chances. I had an 8-cell  and a 9-cell grade 1 . So I am offcially in the 2ww. testing will be 11/15.But or now just on bedrest, bored out of my mind. I have resorted to watching the Cartoon Network to get by.  BFP's and Babydust to all!

TWO DAYS MIMI!! It's just got to work for you this time around!!! I'm definetely sending prayers your way!! Thankyou for your advice on Asst. Hatching. That is definetely something I'm going to talk to my RE about on my appt. As for the Medrol, I did take it, but there was a mixup, and I didn't take as much as I was supposed to...basically my fault. (My pharamacy makes them in low dose pills, and my dr. gave me the instructions for the higher dose, the dose I was supposed to take) Bummer.
Melinda (Miss Preggo ) glad you're not feeling too under the weather!! I know some women have a really hard time, and other women don't any any sickness!! The next couple weeks will be really exciting for you w/the ultrasound!!! I hope you have a strong lil' pea in there with a strong lil' ticker!!!
stephanie-seems like the one time you want AF to start it takes FOREVER huh? Good luck, keep us posted on your progress!!
wannabemomma-good luck in your 2ww! Mine went by pretty fast, bed rest seemed long, but just remember it's for a good cause!! Let us know when your testing days are!!
For me today, I got my AF, oh joy!! On top of that I have a terrible cold, even though my DH tried so hard not to give it to me, I still got it. UGH.

well as for me i did have a scare last night with a little spotting but that only lasted for a few hours so i had a nother hcg test done and it is now a 1821 as for the 3rd on the so it way more then doubled wheww what a big relief!!!!!i have my first us done on nov 20!!!!!the dr said everything is good that i have a strong and healthy pregnancy i think i just overdid it as it was my first day back to work in 3 weeks so i took today off to rest!!!!i hope everyone is doing well and take care!!melinda

Hello everyone,
today was my transfer! I was a little nervous cause I didn't know the grade of the embies yet. Well...there were six 2 grades and two 3 grade, can't remember the cells??? But the Doc. said that the quality is excellent and couldn't have done better!!! Also that I have a 50-60% chance of twins!!
by the way...(we also did ICSI) just to be sure.
I guess the 2ww has started for me as well, I'm still feeling pretty crappy (and crampy) from the prior meds, but I guess that's normal.

"melinda", CONGRATULATION!!!and thanks for asking. Yes I did speak with my doc about the progesterone inj. and he didn't seem to concern about it, but he said that once I (cross my fingers) get a BFP, that is when I'll get a prescription for gel caps, witch will be much better......Tonight after my shot I didn't even get itchy so maybe it was just temporary.

How can you actually wait for 2 WEEKS!!!! without knowing!!!

well, i got my bfp today! i'm so excited...monday's numbers were 67.2 and today it was 259! nurse said she was certain it would be a viable pregnancy...i am a little nervous after losing a viable this summer.
my u/s will be 11/20, probably too early for heartbeat, but at least we can see the little one. should have another u/s for heartbeat early dec.

thank you all so much for your prayers and well wishes. i'm sending them back to all of you.

CONGRATS MIMI!!!!! That is SOOO exciting!!!! I just had a great feeling you were BFP! You're son can be a Big Brother!!! You see...not everything has to be perfect for it to work!!!! Just have to have faith!

Melinda- I think the spotting is pretty normal from what I've heard. My cousin, who also did IVF had spotting very early on, now her daughter is 2, and everything was normal. Also happened to my friend, she thought it was her AF! Didn't realize she was preggo until 9 weeks!! I'm praying things go well for you!!! Keep us posted!

fullof hope-glad the ET went well, take it easy these next couple weeks! Hopefully you can post your BFP soon!

Neeve- welcome! You don't have much longer in the 2ww!! That time sometimes drags!! I had cramping in my 2ww, which mine turned out to be a bfn, BUT PLEASE DON'T be discouraged!!!! I have heard that it can be a good thing, and is completely normal!!! My friend had TERRIBLE cramping, and bleeding and she had a perfect pregnancy. So, don't always think of it as a bad thing!! Could be that those lil'l embies are burrowing in!!! Best thing to do is relax and look forward to Monday! Good Luck!!!

FHL-I don't know how to feel. i have my ups and downs. Sometimes I feel really good and other times I just panic.....normal feelings I guess. I just want to know. I wish I couls sleep through the 2ww.
