itsmyturn- Stay positive. You got a positive test so I would just keep testing. If all else fails try the digital one agian if it would make things easier. Just try not to stress and take it easy so the little one can keep on sticking. Good luck and keep us updated.

Jersey- What time is the appt? I will keep you in my thoughts all day- Good Luck!!!

melmar- You have such a beautiful family!! You I take it this will be baby #4?

melo- Same with me- no luck with the photo upload. Gues Ill be sending it to kizmet too.

itsmyturn-just stay positive!! Maybe you are just very nervous from your last experience...a positive is a positive right now. Wait to get your beta numbers on Saturday-that is the only for sure that will tell you. I had the faintest of lines 2 days before my beta with the twins...our numbers were off the charts though when we took the beta test b/c we were carrying triplets-so hang tight girl!!

Yes Blair-this would be baby #4. I know it is crazy, but I always wanted a big family...5 children. I am overjoyed with what I have, and am not going to be mad at anyone if this FET does not take. I feel like it is some voice from above saying that this is all I am supposed to have and can handle. That is not to say that I won't be completey bummed...but I have been through BFN so many times before. Friday is just around the corner for you...the anticipation must be building:)

Jane-thinking about you!! Today is the big day...here is another sprinkling of baby dust for you***********************************

Kizmet and Melo-how are you girls hanging in there??

As for the picture-you do not have to go to any site as long as you have a picture on your computer. Just go to upload attachment...browse your folders to the picture that you want to put up...click on the picture and hit attach-it might be big on size, but it will attach:) Good luck girls..looking foward to putting faces with the names...we could always do Facebook if that doesn't work...(now I sound like one of my students:)

Kizmet - Thank you for being so helpful, the picture idea is great but I had the same problem as Blair it said I needed permission from the administrator.

Melmar - Gorgeous family and great picture! Thanks for the tip about uploading, I shall try. Melmar thanks for the babydust and I am pulling for you. You never know what might happen.

Itsmyturn - Try and stay positive I know it is easier said than done. I don't have any experience with that to offer because I am not a peerer on a stick person but I might cave this time. Don't take anymore today and try again tomorrow and stay calm.

Blair - My appointment is 12:30 EST so it is sooo close. As for the pineapple thing I read to eat the core for 5 days so cut it into 5 pieces, drink grape juice and raspberry tea til Beta. I doubt it works but if it makes a person feel like they are doing something extra then why not? However, with my daughter and the 2 other pregnancies that ended in miscarriage I did none of that but what the hell right?

Melo - Once again you've brought a smile to my face. Over 300 pineapple cores? Really?? Oh well, I'll still try. I'd whistle dixie while standing on my head at this point if someone said it would work.

Yarnista - Yay another teacher! Melmar is one as well. Do you teach in the U.S.?

AFM - Going for a run then get ready for my appointment. The transfer is scheduled for 12:30 and of course I feel like I am running around trying to do everything last minute. More dusting, more laundry, etc. It keeps my mind busy though because I am so nervous about both embroyos defrosting. I will probably only get on once later to update because I don't have a laptop and DH will be making sure I stay in bed, at least for today. I just tried to upload a photo and it said the file is too big. I'll try again tomorrow.

How many days bedrest did you gals do? Typically I do 2 days although my clinic only says to do 1 but with frozen day 5/6 embroyos they have you return the next morning for a progesterone blood test to check your levels, with a day 3 transfers they have you come 3 days later. Since I have to go out tomorrow for the test and then I have an accupuncture appt. after that I may as well stay out of bed but I will be taking it easy. My mom and dh will be around most of the next week to help out.

Yes, I teach in the inner city in Connecticut. My job can be a little stressful at times so I'm going to have to do lots of knitting(my destressor) next week when I start back. How soon have you guys POAS? I was looking at my daughter's tests and got a positive like 10d. Have a great day!

Yarnista- I was actually going to ask you why you picked that user name. I myself am in the process of crochetting a blanket for DH. I started working on it 3+ yrs ago but then put it down. Now every night he is on call I work on it while hes gone. I am hoping to have it done by either our 3 yr Anniversary in November or by Christmas in December. But since he requested that it be the size of a queen size comforter its taking forever.

Blair,
Cool! I think I'm going to go knit tonight at a new yarn shop I just recently found out about. I have a knitting blog if you'd like to check it out, I haven't posted on there in forever it's www.yarnista.blogspot.com . If you go to the archives for August 2007 you'll see my post about our successful cycle. That's awesome you have the patience for such a huge project! I def. don't, have tons of unfinished stuff in drawers everywhere, getting back to finishing some of them, lol. Just bought my test today, try not to do 10 of them this time, haha. Hope all of you are well, wishing you lots of baby dust :)

Hi everyone, hubby went to pick up our daughter so I snuck out of bed to update. Transfer went great. Both embies defrosted, one was an expanding blastocyst and the other was a hatched blastocyst. I am pretty excited about the hatched one. Officially my 2ww has begun although mine is only 12 days and lucky for me I was wrong about the date. It is not my first day back to work it is the day before. My beta is scheduled for August 31st and I can't wait. Hopefully the time will go by fast. My 6 year wedding anniversary is Saturday and DH doesn't want me running all around so he's going to cook a nice dinner for us at home. I guess that will have to do. Well I am going to lay back down because I don't want to get caught out of bed. I will check in tomorrow.

Blair - Good luck at your appt. tomorrow.

Hi Girls
Jeeps you guys are active posters! Great being in NZ - with the time difference there is always a stack going on. I'll post later a bit longer. Just dropped in to say

"oooohhhhhhh - the AF feeling is really getting stronger and stronger and not dissapating at all. I'm awake all night miserable. Off work today (maia is sick) and have decided to buy a batch of POAS so I can test every day until Tuesday. I think I now have to know one way or the other - can't take prolonging what might to be bad news anyway.

Jersey - good stuff! Actually I heard standing on ones head whilst whilstling dixie . . . and eating Pineapple cores does improve ones chances considerably!!! I had two implantations - one failed in MC - the only think I had in common with those two is that I actually went for a short run before (I figured I was going to stimulate and get the blood going to the uterus!) so I think a run was a good idea! Thats great with the timing on all of this too. Sigh of relief! It seems like its all unfolding well so far!

Melmar - beautiful family - with one more you won't have enough hands between you to hold everyone!!

Itsmyturn - do try and don't worry. Must find reference to the crazy HTP site - one of the frequently FAQ's (of which there were about 100) was about vividness of line and I quote "the strength of the line does not matter" it could be to do with the level of dye of anything else in the POAS. If there is a line - it means HCG is present. So fear not and hold on until your beta!

I'll post later with my first 10dpo POAS. I am not religous but I really feel the need to pray hard to something above every time I think about this moment . . .and it makes me feel hypocritical. But please - universe/and higher beings - please let this work   :P  :?

Just a quick post from me ladies. I'll post everyone's photos either over the weekend or if I don't get on the computer over the weekend, I'll do it Monday.

Yarnista - ummm, all those horses are ours! We currently have 28 of them! LOL and today I've taken the day off work to go to the thoroughbred sales in Melbourne to see if we can pick up something nice and big for DH's son to do some higher grade eventing. I hope your horse owning dreams come true one day!

Itsmyturn - hang in there. Are you POAS at the same time everyday? It's going to vary over the day depending on what you've eaten/drank/activity, and even without that I don't think the POAS tests are that accurate - take a positive as a positive for now. I hope the wait for you beta doesn't seem to take an eternity for you.

Melmar - GORGEOUS pic! What a lovely family you have.

Melo - I hope beyond words that it's your bean making you cramp and not AF.

Jersey Jane - congrats on being PUPO!

Sorry for the brief replies, gotta rush out the door.
Babydust to you all!

kizmey- 28 horses!! I am jealous though- DH and I want to eventually have some land with a variety of animals including horses. Probably quite a few years away though. Hope all is still going well in your 2ww!

Melo- Stay positive. Let us know how the testing goes. All fingers and toes are crossed for you. Im not very religious either but I will keep you in my thoughts.

itsmyturn- A positive is a positive. Dont try to judge the darkness of the line. Come Saturday you will be getting good news!!

Jersey- Congrats on being PUPO!!! And Congrats on your 6 yr anniversary! August 31 will be here before you know it. Keep us updated on how your relaxing and 2ww go. Good Luck.

yarnista- I have thought about taking up knitting but have just always stuck with crochetting. I will definitely check out your knitting blog. Maybe eventually I will be able to post a picture of the blanket Im working on. I am not very patient, but throughout this whole infertility process have come to realize that I have to wait for some things whether I want to or not. Goal #1 is to finish this blanket. Maybe once Im done I can start a baby blanket to finish by May! Good luck with the testing!!

AFM- Last night of Lupron!!! Exciting that Im finishing the Lupron and starting the Progesterone. So sad when you get excited to move to a painful shot in the hip. Oh the perks of infertility. Appt @ 11:15 EST. Working for 4 hours then off for the day. SO excited and nervous!

Hey all! Had a great time knitting tonight at a new yarn shop I recently found.
Moore Baby: My little girl's caregiver lives in Naugy so I'm there all the time! We spent a lot of time in Milford this summer because we like to go to Silver Sands beach. I go to a doctor by himself in Trumbull, love him to death, so personable and his office is so relaxing. My husband is from Newtown, I'm orginally from Perth, Ontario.
I felt great after my accupuncture session tonight esp. when she showed me the book she is working from that says on the front IVF & Accupunture rates increased up to 60%, lol. Sending all of you prayers and baby dust.
