Hi ladies, happy Sunday
Thanks for your message Jen. Feeling better today. Had a massage and a facial yesterday! Pampering always goes down well. I now have an apptmt on 13th March to 'discuss next steps' .....again! The nurse is worried that if my af is really late again that I will clash with their closure for Easter. She wants me to take provera as soon as it is late to avoid this. I don't know. Last year I practically begged for provera as I was really late after a prostap jab and they wouldn't give it to me. Now because it fits in with their plans they are practically forcing me to take it! We'll just have to wait and see.
I must admit the months are racing by at the moment. I can't believe it is March next week. Sorry to see af has been playing you up as well. Heavy and long af is such a drag. It will be May before you know it and back on the roller coaster!
Jackie, glad to see your apptmt went well and your dr listened to your concerns. Hope af arrives on schedule and all can go ahead as planned.
Dizzie have pm'd you. Hope you are OK.
Tracii, hi sweetie. Are you there? How did the scan go? Hope it was good news. If not, we are all here for you. x
Rachel, how are things with you? Haven't seen you post for a while.
PMA to all....we need it now!!!

a bit of pampering is soooo good....great to hear you sounding positive. As for the progesterone i took it for 3 months to regulate AF, and i got preg natually....so i am all for it...as you say it's a differant story when they are rushing you to do things for thier benefit!!!!
anyway just a quick post...i am quickly packing stuff as Df and i are going away tues for 5 days. ( aviemore skiing in our motorhome) I am taking some time owing as i am sooo run down . I just need some time out for a few days. a bit of R & R... so will catch ya at the end of next weekend...
take care ANNA
Anna, How are you? I hope that you get your cycle in time. I will be doing transfer on the Friday before Easter (Good Friday) so I think I will ask for transfer on Thursday so I wont be on bed rest for Easter. I have 6 weeks before FET. Doesnt that seem like a long time?? I thought the process was quicker than that. I guess not.
Jen, Hope you are having a fab trip!! Yes it is well deserved. Will talk to you when you return.
Hi Jackie, good to see your news. 6 weeks does seem like a long time but it will fly by you'll see!
I'm fine, just counting the days....as usual, keeping myself busy and hoping AF will re-regulate and come on time for a change. If not I will probably take provera again to try and get a cycle in before Easter. Who knows. It's the not knowing that really kills me. I am a teacher and the Easter hols are fast approaching. I daren't book to go away or anything just in case I need to go to the clinic. It's very frustrating, given the fact that I haven't booked anything properly for over a year! Before all this I used to travel every school holiday! Ah well, it WILL be worth it in the end. My patience WILL be rewarded!
Jen, when are you back? Hope you had a great break.
Dizzie, thinking of you. When is your appointment with the m/c clinic?
Rachel, hi, haven't seen you post for a while. Hope you are OK
Bye for now
PMA to all

how are you all doing?? haven't been on line in a long time because my computer gave up the ghost and have only just got a new one now.
anna, glad to hear you had a good time in ireland and v sorry that af didn't play along for you. really hope you can cycle before easter, i'll be keeping everything crossed for you. i think we can all understand your frustration of the not knowing or being able to plan. you truly deserve a prize, the biggest of all, for your patience. hang in there!
jackie, best of luck with FET. i've never done it, unfortunately it's not possible in italy, do you have to take meds for the next 6 weeks? hey, maybe we'll be cycling together because i really hope to go again in april and af is due at the beginning of the month. hope so.
jen, hope you're in good form and that you're having a great time skiing. where is aviemore? i'm sure you'll come back refreshed after all that mountain air. it works wonders!
dizzie, still thinking of you sweetie. hope you're doing okay.
Hi Rachel, good to see you back! You may cycle again in April.. heh, we could be cycle buddies! Which protocol will you be doing? I am going for a short cycle, so as soon as AF shows I can be on my way....hopefully!
Jen, hope you had a good break in Aviemore.

Just a quicky to say that i am still in the land of the living and haven't been killed by an avalanche...we were snowed in in Aviemore( 30miles south of Inverness in the Cairgorm Mountain range) for 2 days and had a fab fun time...skking sledging andf generally messing atround in the snow..It was so beautuiful I have NEVER seen so much snow in scotland...
Anna so good to hear that you are going again inApril we could all be cycle buds...PMA PMA...are you doing okay, this is only my 2nd post so still catching up ( and i am at work so should be catching up there but am working late all week to do that so need a break with my buddies !!!!)
Hi Rachel - so good to hear from you...are you still on track for 12th march with consultant appoinment???? It's so good to see you posting agin we did miss you loads
Jackie that is fab news ...now only 5 wks to go...it will fly by...just keeep busy doing other things and before you know it you'll be a FET... x x
Jen, good to have you back. I missed you! Glad you had a good time. It's really great to get away and recharge the batteries.
I am fine. I have an apptmt on 13th March to talk through my next cycle. I am going for short protocol. So waiting for Af (Sound familiar?!!) The problem is that if it is late again I will need tmt when the clinic is closed for Easter. Honestly, my patience is stretched to the limit. So, I think they will want me take provera to bring it on. Anyway can't see the dr saying much else, but watch this space.
I have also been doing some research into DE tmt. I am 42 and need to keep my options open. When/if I get to EC we will have a better idea of the quality of my eggs. Then we can make a decision to continue with my eggs or go for a donor. We are busy saving our pennies!!
Hi to Jackie, are you keeping busy?? Waiting is the worst isn't it!
Rachel and Dizzie, hope all OK
Bye for now

I am going for the HSG tomorrow. Then I go back on the 21st for blood test and I start Lupron. Im a little nervous about the HSG but Im sure I will live.
I was ont he treadmill last night for 45 minutes and it was great but not too energized tonight
Anna, I hope your appt goes well ont he 13th. I think we will be cycling kinda together
Jen, Glad your back!! Im sure it was beautiful!! You deserve some rest and relaxation.
I will know immediately the results from the HSG. The DR will talk me thru everything. This is just to clean everything out and make sure no fibroids or polyps. I read that you have a better chance of pregnancy up to 3 months after this. So I hope this helps me.
I will keep you posted and update you all tonight.
Jackie, good news about HSG. Glad it wasn't too traumatic. Well done you!
My news is a bit pants today. Am having a light 'mid-cycle' bleed which is confusing the dr. A scan today showed a huge cyst which is causing problems. Although I also have a lovely 22mm follie! Am hoping the slight bleed doesn't turn into full blown Af. If it does then I am on for another month of waiting Dr won't start short protocol on a day 15 AF!
If/when Af arrives the dr hopes that the cyst will rupture itself so I won't need another aspiration. Lots of discussion with dr and nurse over what to do. eg bc pills, provera, waiting again!....All compounded by the fact that I may need tmt when the clinic is closed for Easter.
Hope all Ok with Jen, Dizzie and Rachel

Really don't know what to say to help, sorry.
I certainly understand your frustration – not knowing is the worst!!!!!
Hope your AF comes on exactly the day that is best for you and that this tmt is THE one!
