Hi all,

I´m back from Cornwall. The weather was ok, at least no rain until the day we left.

Picked up my drugs from the clinic. I can start again in April/May on a Day 21 start, long protocol.

Monday I´ve got an apptm. with my Doc here for the blood results, but all seems ok according to the receptionist.

Well, there’s a lot to read up on, so I will try I promise. Not sure when I will be able to though. Soooo much to do. We just bought a house and there is a lot to sort out next to other stuff…never mind.

Hope u r all well?!

Jen how is your Dad? Hope he’s feeling much better. How did your apt. go?

Big hugs to you all and have a nice weekend. (its snowing here by the way)

Hi phoenixes,
Hope u're all doing great!

Just a note to Jeni,
Jeni, if theres a little show everyday, then it maybe indicative of cysts- at least thats what my doc seemed to imply..
can u get that checked out?
Mabe helpful when you're really cycling..

Nicki,
not being able to move when you're all set must be soo frustrating!

Jen , (as I seem to be queen of the cysts!) I would echo the other girls messages. The cysts apparently absorb hormones from your body and can make AF stutter. Does that make sense? This may not be the case with you but I would check with dr. They are harmless but do intefere with IVF tmt.
Nicki, sorry to see your move was delayed....frustrating! Good luck next week. Glad to see job is going well.
MLG , I took progesterone tabs when AF hadn't shown up. Took them on day 40 AF arrived day 62....sorry. Couldn't say whether meds helped or not? What did your dr say? Good luck , waiting is such a drag.

Hi to all other phoenixes, PMA to all, 2006 is OUR year. We WILL get there!

Hi all :)

Just a quick post today....Hope all enjoying your weekend.

I feel more positive today. Hormones all over the place tho. Period arrived 8 days early!!!! Body very out of synch at the moment. Sure sign of stress but explains why I have been so emotional  . Anyway, had a real good cry yesterday, long time coming, and feel much better for it.

Went on my first meet today from another site. Should have been 6 of us but only three turned up so didnt get as much out of it as I expected but was good to have chingwag with girls who do understand how we all feel. Was a nervous wreck but glad I went.

Nicki - sorry the house move didn't go to plan. How annoying! On the plus tho I am glad you are enjoying yr job.

Jeni - Hope feel ok and things get back on track for you.

Hello to everyone else and big hugs and kisses and lots of positive energy to you all.

Speak next week xx

Hi Phoenixes

Hope everyone is OK.?

Lola - you make me laugh with your witty sense of humour. Thats fantastic news about being able to start treatment this month, bet your so pleased aren't you.?

MLG - have a nice time in Algarve - hope the AF comes soon for you, don't worry about keeping up with all the messgaes, its just nice that you can post in to let us know how you are..!

Jeni - Sorry to hear your having probs with AF - I have been reading peoples views on cysts, maybe you should get checked out.

Sally - Nice to see you back, you've got your drugs early haven't you, I will be hopefully starting treatment in April, if I haven't already done so in March, but I don't get my drugs until the week before..

Nicki - Sorry to hear you haven't moved out yet, not long now though. Good news about you enjoying your new job..

Julie - Glad your feeling abit more positive. Keep up the meetings if you thought it was good, maybe more people will come next time, its so good to talk with people who are going through the same as us..

As for me - I am also feeling much better now, glad to be back at work, and I am really looking forward to starting my next cycle. I have my consultation with consultant on 22nd, I need to ask lots of questions (re miscarriages) and also have to have FSH tested when febs AF arrives and I'm so scared it will have gone up even more.

Had my first AF since miscarriage and it was horrible and I had the worst dose of PMT... feeling much bettr now though..!

A big hello to all the other Phoenixes I've missed.

Well I've had a great weekend so far. Went shopping in Jen's neck of the woods yesterday (Glasgow) (Jen - if I'd been more organised we could have met for a coffee if you were free - may be next time??)Nothing beats retail therapy :) Met a friend then my mum gor the rest of the day. Wasn't going to buy anything but then saw this gorgeous dress in Mango and had to have it!! When I met my mum she had decided she was going to treat me to something since I'd been so down last week so I got lovely jewellery to go with the dress. Hello Flame buddies...

you all sound in fine weekend fettle :) :) ...Spring must be just around the corner...

Sally...good to hear from you and that you had some fun in Cornwall...Hope the results are A okay tomorrow...and you will soon be on the April/may cycle of tmt... I hope to join you on it!!!! we understand if you can't post much just now, what with a new house and all...just post when you can :D

Nicki- what a bummer not moving at all ion friday...Goodness you will be glad to get this all behind you and settle down in your new home...the moving date has been cancelled so many times...I too hate the smokey smell when we go to pubs...DF and i have booked a night out in our fav pub on the 26th March when the smoking ban comes into force here in Scotland...I can't wait pub life will be so much better because of the ban.
Glad you are having fun with your new job...enjoy :D :D

Anna and Smita- thanks for the info i will book to see my G.P. this week and see what she says! It isn't brown/dark red smudges like a norm AF this is very bright light red blood and very small ammounts...now been 7 days of it! I presume that doc will let AF run another month and check then if all is regulated..but will make an appointment anyway... anna do you want to give us your dates so we can add you to the pheonix long list of events!!! :D

MLG- I took preoegsterone tabs on day 16-28 then had normal AF( i was blleding every 10-14 days at the time and was very aneamic)..it did regulate my period then the next month on them i had no period...but was pregnant :) Hope Af is here soon and that you are enjpoying Algarve!!!

Julie- Honey i am glad you are feeling better and sounding more like your your usual self..sounds like you have been having a hormonal time :? Your PMA sounds back to full fettle .... :D

lucy-Good that your are enjoying work..it sure helpds the weeks pass moer quickly and thus bring tmt closer  My clinic told me this month that my FSH level doesn't really matter if i am doing a short cyle(cetrotide) as they work with the body rather than against it (i.e. down regging it) Maybe you could ask about that too. Hopefully this 1st AF will settle your hormones at a blanced level...PMA... Lucy... PMA!!!

LISA-wow retail therpy is fun but on a Saturday...was it not MAD busy in the center of Glasgow???? next time you are through give me a shout and i will catch up with you...I take it you were in Buchannan Glalleries, did you go to Princes Square in Buchannan Street too! I love the Monsoon and french connection there!!!!And did you get to Jigsaw? Mums are so good. Mine too always buys me something when we are out together :D

for me again we have been catching up with family and friends so a late night last night...just doing all the ironing and washing now!!! YEUK I hate it!!! My dad is still waiting to see the consultant...now 5 wks since operation and he still doesn't know if they did the op fully or it was abandoned due to them accidently piercing his heart? He is very listless andfinding wlaking difficult cause heart is still not pumping blood correctly?Don't know what will happen until he sees the consultant...I am still awaing full AF ( see abouve) and definatley think my hormones are way off this month, so will see GP.

A BIG HI to everyone else...hope ya all have a relaxing Sunday...
will catch ya tomorrow....

Will update the list in the next post ...please cut and paste any ammendments !!! ta girlies

love jen

Hi Ladies

Back from the Algarve. Was a pretty good weekend in the end, even with the work-DO in the middle. Yesterday was my 37th birthday. Had a lovely lunch Image with friends by this beautiful beach Image on the west coast (Praia do Amado – do visit if/when in Portugal) and came back by the scenic road. Image

Nicki – Sorry you didn’t move. It seems like one delay after another! Glad you’re enjoying the new job though, good for you! Image

Jen – Any news? :?: Must be awful for your dad (and you) not to know exactly whats going on! :(

Anna – Will be on progesterone until tomorrow. Hope it works, or I’ll not be able to have the tmt when planned. Image

Julie – So glad you’re feeling better. Keep up the PMA!!!!! Image

Lucy – Nice that you’re feeling better, don’t get discouraged. I’m sure you’ll be fine. Image

Sally – Feels good to have the dates and drugs, doesn’t it? Makes it all feel real again! Image

Lisa – Must do some retail therapy, sounds healing..... Image

A big bucket of PMA to all Phoenixes Image

No AF!!!!! Still have to start praying hard if not here soon! Image

PHEONIXES ...Hello

MLG- I am sure the progesterone will work...it did when i took it..just give your body a little time...hugs...

Today i actually managed to get an appointment to see the G.p. ...she says that my restricted bleeding cof AF could be to do with some meds was on at the beginning of january...I took these drugs for 2 wks and apparently they ( in some cases) can disrupt the AF flow and timing...So the plan is to just go with my body and give it another month before referring me on to see a gynocologist. ( Don't really want to do that cause it can take 6 months !!!!) A t least i know it's not my AF going AWOL, it's the drugs i was on...and today the flow has been more. ( though still nothing like a usual AF) at leaast i have another 3-4 AF's before tmt commences, so i should be okay.

Big Hugs to everyone hope the rest of you are doing good...
love jen
