Thanks so much for the welcome -- and for the postiive vibes! I love the idea of there being three BFP's on Feb 15! I'd like to be added to the list but not quite sure how to do so. Here's to FEB being a bumper month for all!

Hi Ladies
I haven't been on the site since I left China on 19th December to come to UK for our first IVF. Unfortunately got negative result today. Feel very disappointed. We have got 7 eggs frozen, but I need to go back to China to work, so I have no idea when I am going to be able to get enough time off to try again. It was DP's birthday yesterday and his parents are visiting tonight. We decided not to tell them about IVF so its going to be a difficult few days.
Good luck to everyone else with February test dates.

Well done! I am soooo happy for you all.

Gabriella, it will be ok.Be strong and just rest a bit!

Sorry about your news Chinamiff, sometimes you need just another go, it will happen! It is so disapointing and hard but keep on fighting for your dream.

Randa, well done with your 8 eggs! I know that it gets so hard to get eggs, give yourself a pat on the back!

As for myself, I had EC yesterday and got 7 eggs. Happy with that as I thought I would have had only 5 or 6. But 4 fertilized, which puts me a litlle in the 'worring stage'. They like to have at least 6 embryos to go for Blasto, so I am defrostig our last three embryos to add to the 'race'.
I am a bit nervous because in the other clinic, none survived the thawing.
So in the next couple of days, they are trying to get to blastocyst (come on little ones!).

Thinking of each one of you and sending you positive thoughts.

Chinamiff ... So sorry to hear you've not been lucky this time. Sometimes it's just not meant to be. I know it's only natural to be thinking about a next cycle, but you need to get over this one first. Give yourselves time to grieve and gather your strength. You need to give your body plenty of time to recover too, before you try another cycle. Use this time to try to get healthy etc, but first of all spend some time together and do things you enjoy. It will get easier, but it'll take time.

Sorry about your news but be strong. Look after yourself and let's keep positive about your next one to be a big positive.

As for myself, I am happy

that my frozen ones survived and now I have 7 embryos on the race to become Blastocysts. I feel more positive now and going Tuesday for ET.( Thanks Sandra!).

Hi all. I was wondering how much discomfort other people were in during the 2ww. I had ET on thursday and am still feeling bloated and uncomfortable - especially seems to be affected bladder and needing to go more often to relieve discomfort.
I rang clinic today but didn't find out too much that helped. I'm beginning to worry if I have some sort of infection causing this and then worrying that this might affect hopeful embies... it was like this before EC as well, but I thought it should have calmed down by now if it was related to ovaires?
would love advice please!

hi Angela,

I have nearly finished my 2ww but was very bloated for the first few days and just before EC. It all calmed down eventually though. One word of advice about the bed rest - my tummy muscles have shortened slightly from being horizontal for so long so i would suggest stretching whilst doing your bed rest thing.

Weeing lots could be due to copious amounts of water we are told to drink - 3 litres of water has to go somewhere! i would not worry about that - i was peeing for Britain.

I would like to add my name to the list. . . ET was on Friday and my test will be on Feb. 11. I was a day 6 transfer and we only transfered 1 embryo this time.
