Hi Jeck
Had my ET this morning, they put 2 4 cell embies back. I'm so excited and even though the hospital told me i didn't need any bed rest i'm going to do it anyway. So many of the girls on this site have advised it and to be honest i trust all these wonderful girls more then i trust the nurse. My test date is the 29th is it ok if i join your list?

Patientivfpatient - I think we test on the same day, how did your transfer go today?

Wendy--I am so glad everything went well with your ET!!!! Bedrest and getting waited on hand and foot could never hurt anyone

Ellie--Ohh you and can share our misery on how the time is going so slow until the 24th!!! My 1st IVF I did a hpt 2 or 3 days before beta and got a positive. I am going to try to hold off testing as long as I can because I know each time is different and I don't want to get myself all worked up. At least this is what I keep telling myself!!!

I felt a little crampy last night, very mild... was that the babies settling in or maybe gas!!!??? Who knows!! I am tring to stay positive, I have a good feeling about this and I just keep remembering this bible verse to keep me going:

Jerimiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you HOPE and a future."

Amanda--I woke up thinking about you and have been praying all morning that all went well today!! Drop a line when you can!!! {{{HUGS}}}

God Bless and Baby Dust to all!!!

We transfered TWO grade 1 embies today!!!!

They were both 8-cell.

I have two other 8-cells that are grade one, an 8-cell that is grade 2, and a 6-cell that we will see if we can freeze--find out Tuesday.

I will test on JULY 26!!! Two weeks past retrieval, not transfer !?!?!

Thanks Elliecat for the well wishes.

Jeck --If, I mean WHEN!!! you get a BFP from your frozen cycle, you will be my inspiration for FET success [hopefully my FET will be in the distant future when I am doing it to add a SIBLING to the family!!!]

Ellie, you only had one to transfer because you only thawed one, or because only one survived thaw?? Did you thaw all 13?

Patientivf. Congratulations on your transfer.
We had 13 embies frozen when they were still at the nucleus stage this ment that we could defrost them all and any ones that survived and were healthy could be refrozen( I ws surprised that this could be done and spoke to both my doctor and the biologist about this). The reason why they froze them at the nucleus stage was because i had ohss and therefore not able to implant fresh and we were having genetic screening due to me carrying a genetic sex related disorder. This was a big decision that we came to and have always said that if we were fortunate to get pregnant naturally we would pray that all would be ok. However because we are having to go through the IVF route we felt it was better to be screened. As you can imagine it has been a incredibly difficult decision to make. When the embies had been defrosted only9 survived the thaw and then over the next stages we only had 4 left to screen. Out of those 4 only 1 was healthy and had no abnormalities and luckily was the correct sex which is a girl. Would be interested to know if any one else has had to make this difficult decision.

Congratulations and Thankyou to galip for sharing your news with me and it gives me hope that i can get a BFP.

Hi Jeck not sure if i am going to do a hpt or wait for the doctor to tell me. Do you know how soon you can tell? I cant believe how slow time is going, usually my days whizz by but all of a sudden it seems forever until the 24th. The weather is mid 40's so i am getting very hot, grumpy and not sleepy however dp is going with the flow.

Take care to all

Just want to wish you all lotsa of baby dust. I will be off line for a week or so as we are moving house.

Quick positive story about frozen transfer. Friend of mine fell pregnant after however many times and froze her remaining eggs, few years later she had frozen transfer with them and fell pregnant again. She now has 2 boys with about 2 1/2 or 3 years difference but infact they are actually twins !!![/b]

Jen,

Test again when you are supposed to - don't take it as a BFN yet, I think someone else on this link tested early and got a BFN which turned into a BFP - I can't remember who it was though.

Sending lots of baby dust to you.

Jen ~~

Ok i just wanted to tell you my story with the HPT! I started testing 4 days before my test date and it was negative.... and i cried my eyes out that day i couldnt breath because i thought i was headed for another disappointment... my husband came home and trashed the rest of the HPTs i had.... and finally when test date came 4 days later i had a Huge BFP with a beta of 336 on day 11, thats really high and the stupid hpt didnt detect it by any means.... not to mention i tested way too early but its weird... if it makes you feel better to test then do so... but for me i couldnt handle it, i didnt want to see another negative so i left it up to God and prayed soooo hard, never in my life have i prayed as much as i have been doing lately... And thank God i have been blessed! And you shall be blessed as well... just stay positive as difficult as it may sound... leave your worries to God...
With Gods Blessings BFP!
