Thank you all for thinking of me, but it's not looking good. There was a glimmer of hope yesterday when dh and I thought we could see something on those evil pee sticks, but I am convinced that anything we were seeing were just evaporation lines. I am way too far past transfer for it not to show immediately on a home test. I am actually glad the torture will be over soon, I can cry it out and start trying to figure out how in the heck we will ever try again. I just went for bw, the lady said my office should have results by noon, but I don;t expect a call until the afternoon, they are on lunch until 1, so maybe they will not torture me for too long and call after lunch.

I will post my news when I get it.

Hi ladies. I need some feedback from others about follicle size. Last night was my 13th night of stims! I keep hearing I'm a slow grower and now my dr is worried about my e2 level (1350) and he said my progesterone is high. He also said if my e2 rises anymore he would cancel it b/c I only have 2 follies at 19, 1 at 18, 2 at 16 and 4 at 15...the rest are 14 or less and too small to be mature enough to fertilize he said (in his opinion). This is my first IVF cycle. He said that it's not a great cycle and he thinks I can do better in responding on a different protocol (Lupron down is suggested for next one if this doesn't work). I'm on what they called a Crash cycle...something kind of new for those with slight PCOS. Anywho, it's not stimming me enough. But isn't having 9 follicles at 15mm or more good? I mean, I have heard women getting prego with less at retrieval! Need help! Waiting on blood work call...ugh.

hey ladies!

i haven't posted in awhile, but i wanted to say congratulations to all the BFPs on the board. i am still reading as many posts as i can to keep up with you all. i'm excited for everyone here to join the boards for the pregnant women.

for you ladies that had BFNs: my heart goes out to you and i know you must be confused, pissed off and hurt right now. even though it is emotionally devastating, i hope you all keep trying to get the miracle that you so deserve.

prayin4bfp: i think it was you who posted regarding OHSS. i took cabergoline as well and it worked very well. my doc had me take it beginning the day of ER and 7 days after. since i did get pregnant my OHSS came back two days after my last dose (8/29) and just subsided in the last two weeks! i asked if i could continue taking it, but the doc said he didn't want me on that med for too long. i had fluid drained 4x! i pray that your symptoms subside soon.

karenthescorpio- it's interesting that your RE would cancel your cycle with your E2 levels being what they are. mine rose all the way to 3700 before ER. of course i did get OHSS, but my RE said the stopping point was 4000. i had 31 follicles. i would definitely ask more questions.

michele- i am praying so hard for you. you so deserve this and it has taken so many tries to get here. i totally can understand what you mean about waiting a few years, but it will continue to haunt you. in the end you will know what's best for you and your family.

bei- i am in chicago and my RE is christopher sipe from fertility centers of illinois. they have lots of different sites, go to their site, fcionline.com. there are other women on here who go there too!

karenthescorpio - I can't believe your RE wants to cancel!!! 9 follies of that size is about all I ever produce!!! I would question RE really hard, before letting him cancel you. I also have PCOS.

karenthescorpio- It'll be interesting to hear other people's views on this but to me your follies sound fine for ER...it sounds like they could get 5 or 6 at a good size, I would think they would go ahead with ER?? E2 measures follie size so the higher the better...I don't know, it's so confusing because people are on different protocols and such but GL whatever you/Dr. decides. I hope you get your ER. J&C was a slow grower too and she produced lots of big beautiful healthy follies that all fertilized so keep your PMA, it'll happen!

dnbbruce- Welcome aboard! This is my first IVF cycle too and I was on Menopur and Bravelle...no lupron. The shots were very easy for me and I had no side effects at all. I have also had a m/c and have severe endo and have been married to DH for 5 yrs....looks like we've got alot in common:) Let us know anytime if you have questions and we are all very happy to help. I've asked a million and one questions myself in the last few weeks and these ladies are THE BEST people to learn from and get lots of PMA from so get ready for lots of waiting, and GL to you in your cycle!!

kala0704- figures... 2 pregnant ladies at the table...can we ever get a break! I was laying in bed Saturday (bed rest after transfer) and my DH came in with mail from my friend in NC. It was a picture of her brand new baby boy...perfect timing! Good for her

Hi ladies. Sorry but this is a quick drive by post...I am at work. Question? When do you think I can start POAS? I triggered last Sat. retrieval on 9/28. Transfer on the 30th. They have my beta scheduled for 10/12 but that seems far.

shelbyrn0214- Thank you for thinking of me. My tranfer is in two more days from now. OMG, I'm totally nervous, but excited at the same time. I'll be joing the 2ww and boy that is going to drive me nuts haha I promised myself I would just wait for the doctor to call me but it is so hard. I waited this long so two more weeks won't hurt. Good Luck to everyone and congradulations to all the progress everyone is making or has made.

Hi all, I hope everyone is doing well. I had a scare this week again. We are bleeding, and clotting and cramping, its brown and red and sometimes just pink - but I went in for bw and u/s today and the sac is still there and some times they can see a flutter but not really. I'm so scared and making myself crazy. I can't imagine this working and I can't make myself be prositive. All I see is doom and gloom. How do I snap out of it?
Michelle- have you used a digital? I didn't get a line on the plus/minus tests untill the say of my beta but the digital showed up sooner.

malya324- It is very normal to be afraid when are pregnat and unfortunately you are going to be scared until your kids are grown and out of the house. Try to relax and not to worry, don't stop being positive. I know how hard it is but the lord has blessed you and you will be a mommy very soon. Try to hang in there and just know it has already worked and things will be fine, keep praying and try to relax. When I was pregnat I bled some times too but i was told that's the uterous shedding the lining or something to that degree. Hang in there kid.

Miyaya – LOL! You might want to take Sancap’s advice and hold off. I’m a glutton for punishment so that’s why I did it. If you insist, Thursday might be safe, but be prepared for a neg. if the hCG isn’t detectable in your urine yet. You also want to make sure your trigger is gone. Please don’t get discouraged if this happens. I started 4 days before my beta so this is why I suggest that. And I continued to do until the day before beta just to make sure that it wasn’t the trigger still in my system. Good luck with either decision you make!!!

Tonyacheek - So good to hear from you! I’m very excited for you and wish you the best!

Malya – I have heard a lot of stories of women who still have a period while pregnant and didn’t even try to poas until later in the pregnancy. You may just be one of those who will bleed some and still maintain a healthy pregnancy. Progesterone can also cause cramping and if you are using the suppositories, which can trigger some irritation and cause bleeding. Please hang in there and try to be positive. Don’t give up on your little fighter!

Thank you for those who gave me some feedback about follie size. I think it would be insane to cancel given the number that I have and the E2 level. I did some research and I'm no where near OHSS! I don't get it!
