i tried to post the other day but was unable to...something wrong with the site taking ages to download each page. Took me an hour to make one post!!!!!! It seems to be working okay now so...

Nicki Honey ....you don't have it easy do you girl...what a time you and Mark have had !I hope that your pain is getting easier and planning a holiday is one of the best things to do to give yourselves a break. At least you know you follies are growing and that next time they will get the meds right with a much lower dose!!! It has been tough for you honey Big hugs x x

Souris good to hear from you Honey...it's hard making the decision to be a last ivf cycle but i hope you get a BFP in May/June. I think after your D&C that your womb is ready for another little one to embed. Good luck Honey...

Gail- I can picture you sitting by the computer with baby Katie in your arms,and one hand typing...it has brought tears to my eyes. Joy and gratitude that you have your dream honey. you must feel so blessed. Thank you for all the Hope and Faith you bring us...It helps to know how you and beautiful katie are x x

Lucy- Have you hd any results back yet from your bloods. As you say FSH doesn't really matter for you as at 21 you got pregnant. I am still looking at ooptions for DE and now loooking at a shorter flight time by going to Barcelona...First we really need a bit of time out after all the wedding stuff and then look at it in June-ish.
julie- hope you are getting fab weather in Wales...It's stunning 21degrees here in Forres I have had shorts on the past 3 days. and have caught up with all my laundry!!!

Lisa How are you doing and baby bump? you must be getting very round now! Blooming!!!!!

Adam and I had a great wedding Party...everyone was wonderful. We had balloons, fab buffet, wedding cake and a great big choc fountain for the kids. But mostof the adults liked it too...It was such a wonderful night...Especially as i drank champagne all night.Mmmnn!!! Came home on wednesday and have been enjoying the fab weather up here. 20degrees each day. I have had shorts on and done so much. Painted the garden fence and teak oiled the decking.... so today i am having a lazy one with my book!!!!

Jen - Glad the wedding party went well and you enjoyed it. You can now settle into married life. How bliss!

As for me...back to reality and in work today. Had a fab week. Very relaxing, just what the doctor ordered. I have been having very bad headaches and am very spotty and put lots of weight on!! Dont know how much as daren't get on the scales!

I am on 3 Elleste Solo (2mg) a day now (HRT!). The leaflet says not to take if pregnant or likely to become pregnant (!) suppose they know what they are doing....have lining scan on Weds and then should have a date for ET!

Julie i too had terrible headaches when taking my down reg. think your brain is trying so hard to regulate your body...and can't understand where all the extra hormones are coming from. Try and relax honey, acupuncture will help. Can't wait to hear when your ET date is ...soooooooooo exciting!!!! Good luck with your scan on Wednesday
Glad that you had such a fab time in Wales. Was the weather good?

We are heading off this weekend for a couple of days in the motorhome. Hope the weather stays fine.

It's all over now, I have started to bleed.....Called clinic who said this is a good sign, means that everything from OHSS is starting to heal, and my natural hormones are coming back.....
But, yes, im glad to feel normal again, and not controlled by the drugs, but SAD to think, I've come thro all this S*** and still no further fwd.

i posted on the other thread but just wanted to say again...Hang in there!!!!! The docs now know how your body responds to meds and can re-apply a better dose next time. I had the opposite effect my meds were too low the first time and had NO follies. But next time i responded better and got to ET with 2 fab embies. It takes time to heal when your body has been through so much ...You are doing the right thing having time out then holiday. You will be stronger to choose what road you want to take by then... Stay strong honey x x x

How is everyone else doing????


I have been struggiling with MS pain fatigue and lack of mobility since over doing it at the weekend. I painted the fence which would have taken adam and i a full day...all onmy own. adam was working and the weather was so good i just feel good too. Mistake though and have been floored by shooting electric pains in legs and neck shoulders. Went to physio today which helped but again slept for 4 hours this afternoon

Anyway i feel fed up cause i thought i was on a good high and was coping better...hope tomorrrow is a better day. It gets frightening cause i wonder if when i am like this if i could cope with a baby. adam says i wolud manange like many others do when they are disabled like this . I could use a child minder as if i went to work and have that time for rest and relaxation. Which i think would work okay. But i still think that maybe i am being selfish and the child would suffer...what do you guys think?

Just a quickie as tea on the go but sending you hugs. Dont worry too much. I have a friend of a friend who is wheelchair bound with MS and has a ;ovely little boy. Albeit she gets help from her family but she drives and attends toddler groups etc and is a perfect mum!!! You will do it, its meant to be x

Wales was fab!!! very hot and very relaxing. wish I was still there.

Found a short cut to updating calender! I clicked "quote" on your posting and it throws you into posting mode with all the ino on there. Just deleted the "quote info" at the beggining. Give it a go. You can test it by adding my confirmed date of 24 April for ET!!!

My clinic appoint was great. No fluid, and lining 8.5mm!! Transfer Tues 24 April. Can't wait. Sooo excited now

Hope you're all OK?

Julie hun how's the headaches, I get them quite bad when on stims but I don't take the same as you, I take 0.5 Buserelin and then 450mg of Menopur, but Like Jen said your brain is working extra hard so this may cause the headaches... You sound very relaxed, just what you needed. When is ET.?

Jen, glad you and Adam enjoyed your party, it sounds like you both had a great time, and uummmm a chocolate fountain, sounds nice.! Your right don't think it really matter to have my FSH tested, I was just curious for myself, but then not sure if I want to know if it’s high...
I'm really sorry to hear you're struggling with your MS at the moment, I know it is must be very hard for you. You'll be a great mum Jen, don't for one minute think your being selfish because you are not, you'll be a fantastic mum and if you need a bit of help then so what..! Have a great weekend away this weekend! Take Care darling. xx

Sorry if I've missed anyone but I'm rushing as I'm at work... as for me, got my drugs delivered yesterday so will be starting stims when AF arrives which is Fri or Sat.... I can't tell you all how I scared I am, I have never felt like this on a cycle before, I keep getting really bad butterflies every time I think about my cycle, I know its stress and I'm trying everything I can to keep really relaxed and feel chilled out, I've even started doing an hour of relaxation, using a relaxation CD.. not sure if It'll help but its worth giving it a go.. also I've booked to go to a health spa for the day next week, really looking forward to that, I'm having a anti stress detoxifying wrap.. apparently it takes all the negative energy out of your body, well just what I need right now.... it will be OK going for that while I'm on the stims won't it.???????????

As for work still not heard anything about the job I applied for, not sure when interviews are, its internal so thought I'd of heard something by now, I know quite a few people are going for the same job... god, I'm crap at interviews as well..!

Well best be off, got lots to do today...
